There's a fire inside of my soul,
It's burning, burning with desire,
It brings me down to the depths of despair,
But also lifts me up higher and higher.
This feeling I cannot give a name,
I know it warms up my cold heart,
However it also rips me into shreds,
Fearlessly and frightfully tearing me apart.
An awful anger ignites my mind,
Feelings enhance and explode away
As water decreases it to a tiny candle.
Ready to expand again to come out and play.
Even though this feeling burns,
It can make me feel so very alight,
As if there are never consequences,
To darken my sky to a deadly night.
It can spread as quickly as a forest fire,
Filling up the vast space of my mind,
Taking over my actions with fearful control,
Leaving all kindness impossible to find.
