Amelia's POV
"you want me to drop you at your house?" Tayler asked
"yes, and if you can take me to Addison's after that. I'm not sleeping at the house today" I said
he nodded and focused on the road again
I grabbed my phone and texted Addison

sorry I'm not home
I might not sleep at home today
where are you then?
I'll tell you later

I let out a sigh and put my phone down
I guess I'll have to suffer and sleep home
"what's up?" Tayler asked taking a small glance on me
"Addison is not home. so now I'm gonna have to sleep at home with dad's psycho girlfriend and her bitch of a daughter" I said coldly
"oh god. you know this is the first time I hear you cussing?" he said laughing
"yeah whatever" I replied looking out of the window
"why are they even sleeping at our house when we have school tomorrow?" I said after some silence
Tayler let out a chuckle making me glare at him
by the time I stopped glaring at him, we were parked in front of my house
I got out of the car and walked to the door
I opened my bag to grab the keys
wait-
please don't tell me I forgot my keys
I searched again but didn't find them
I let out a groan and dropped my bag to the floor
"what happened" a familiar voice said
I turned around and saw Tayler
"I don't have my keys, now I have to-wait! didn't I give you and Kelianne the keys?" I asked
my eyes lit up with hope
"wait yes you did!" he exclaimed
he reached to his pocket but didn't find anything
my smile started fading away
"wait let me search in the car" he said before walking back to his car
I ran behind him and watched as he searched everywhere
he let out a sigh and shook his head, before his face lit up
"I think Kelianne took it" he said before grabbing his phone
"I swear to God if she's asleep. it's already past 9, she's probably deep in sleep right now" he said tapping on his phone
after a while he shook his head and put his phone back in his pocket
"she's asleep" he said rubbing his temple
"oh god. my dad probably won't come back until late at night" I said letting out a sigh
I sat on the doorsteps and buried my face in my hands
I felt Tayler sit next to me
"why don't you sleep at mine?" he suggested
I shook my head
"I really don't want to intrude or anything" I said looking up at him
"you won't intrude, plus my mom would be really happy if you came" he said
"are you sure?" I asked a bit hesitant
he nodded his head and smiled
"yep, now let's go girlfriend" he said sending a wink
I laughed slightly before walking behind him to the car
we drove in comfortable silence because honestly I was so tired to talk or say anything
Tayler parked his car in the driveway of his house as we arrived
he got out of the car and I repeated his actions
we walked to the front door, and Tayler reached to his pocket to grab his keys
he opened the door and walked inside
"my mom might be asleep" he whispered
I nodded and followed him slowly inside
the house was quiet, so Wendy was probably asleep
"no I'm awake" a voice said making me and Tayler jump
Tayler turned on the light and we saw Wendy standing next to the living room
"Amelia, didn't know it was you" she said smiling
she walked to me and gave me a hug which I gladly returned
"yeah sorry, Tayler told me to sleep here because my dad isn't home and I don't have my keys" I said
"no worries, you're always welcomed here" she said smiling
this woman is so sweet
"if you guys forgot, I'm still here, but anyways we're going to sleep, night mom" Tayler said
"good night" she said before Tayler grabbed my hand and pulled me to his room
we entered the room and Tayler closed the door behind us
"I'll grab you a shirt and some sweatpants" he said before walking to his closet
although I've seen his room before, I still looked around
it's cleaner than my room
"here you can change in the bathroom" he said pointing to the door at the end of the room
I nodded and walked to the bathroom
I made sure to lock the door before I striped out of my clothes
I put on the shirt which reached to my mid-thigh
then I put on the sweatpants which were really REALLY big
his clothes smell amazing
I put my hair in a messy bun before walking out of the bathroom
Tayler was taking off his shirt, I quickly covered my eyes
"oh my god I'm so sorry" I said with my eyes still covered
I heard him chuckle before he talked
"no worries, you can uncover your eyes you know" he said
I awkwardly removed my hands from my face but quickly covered them again when I saw Tayler standing there still shirtless
"are you not gonna put a shirt on" I said
"nope, I don't sleep with a shirt on" he said
I let out a sigh and pulled my hands from my eyes
I avoided eye contact with him
"I'll just go to sleep" I said grabbing a pillow from his bed
I was about to walk to the couch when I was pulled back
"where are you going?" Tayler asked
"um... to the couch" I said in a 'duh' tone
"you're sleeping on the bed" he said
I shook my head
"no I'm sleeping on the couch" I said trying to get out of is grip
he just rolled his eyes
"I said you're sleeping on the bed and that's the end of discussion" he said
I let out a sigh and yanked my wrist from his grip
I walked to the bed and got in it
Tayler started walking to the couch
"where are you going?" I asked
"to the couch" he said not looking at me
"aren't you gonna sleep on your bed?" I asked confused
"I'm not sleeping next to you. good night" he said before flopping on the couch
I couldn't help but feel a bit hurt that he doesn't want to sleep next to me
is he disgusted by me?
I pushed these thoughts away and got under the covers
"good night Tayler" I mumbled before drifting off to sleep
