Broken chipping falling
On the ground
Nowhere to go
No one to call
No tears to cry
A shell
A form
Empty.
Broken apart
Pieces lay waste
Parts broken litter the ground
No one to hold them for her
No one to fix the kingdom
No one to fix her
No one around
Her voice is faint
Her breathe heavy
Her heart shattered
Her mind flummoxed
Her shoe still missing
Her king not to come
She turned to foam
She didn't wake up
She didn't live happily ever after
The birds didn't sing
The mice didn't help
The stepmother won
The father never died
The king followed the rules
The maid never went to the ball
The dress didn't fit
It was to tight
She passed out in his arms
He dropped her
He went to the next ready to dance
He left her in a heap
He left her for royalty
As he should
Unknowingly she broke
Unknowing until it was to late
Until she couldn't be saved
