-Alex POV-
"I don't know guys...Stacy i think there's more to this skirt." I said hesitantly looking into Stacy's bathroom mirror. I pulled the skirt lower down my thigh.
"Oh come on Alex! We wanna see." Jack whined on the other side of the door. Stacy picked my party outfit for me and waited until Jack was here to judge it too.
"Yeah! And we're gonna be late." Stacy added.
I sighed and walked out self-consciously. Jack's jaw dropped and Stacy wolf-whistled. I blushed and did a little turn for them.
"Where's my innocent little Lex?" Jack asked spinning me into his arms. Our faces were a little to close and we sort of stared at each other. It was - weird. Stacy cleared her throat making me turn away and act like i was checking myself out.
"I'll wait for you girls outside." He murmured and walked out. Stacy shut the door and stared at me with her arms crossed.
"What?" I asked.
"Whats going on with you and Gilinsky?" She asked grinning slyly. I burst into laughter.
"What? You think? Me? And Jack?" I said laughing but she looked serious.
"Maybe not but he's definitely crushing on you Lex." She said shaking her head.
"Whatever. Im not into guys anyways." I said grabbing my phone off charge. She snorted.
"Are you sure you're not lesbian?" She asked. I nudged her.
"No lets just go you idiot." I giggled.
"Oh sure. I make you look hot and you call me names. Rich." She said pouted. We hooked arms and walked out to find Jack smoking. He finished his blunt and we headed out.

"Is that Alex Wilkinson?"
"She looks sexy af."
"Totally bangable. Since when does she wear things above her ankles?"
"Does she have a bf? Coz I'm going in for the kill."
This was all i heard when we stepped into Carters mansion. He was one of the richest kids, sometimes snobbish but a cool guy. Guys looked like they were undressing me with their eyes and girls glared.
"I hate this." I whispered to Jack who was waving at a few people.
He smirked. "Own it, you look super hot." He said squeezing my hand slightly before a few girls pulled him away. I turned to find Stacy gone too.
I stood awkwardly in the middle of - basically everyone. They either stared at me, pointed or gaped openly. "Hey, Alexandra right?" some girl asked me.
I smiled. "Alex yeah." She smiled and suddenly pulled me to another den which was darkly lit.
"Uh where are we going?" I asked looking around.
"We're playing spin the bottle." She said sitting down and patted the ground next to her. I rolled my eyes at the typical high school party game but sat down. A few other guys and girls joined us.
"Okay! So a girl spins the bottle but you're blind-folded and whoever it lands on - you have to go into Carters room for five minutes AND kiss." The girl who pulled me said loudly.
Stacy and Jack weren't part of the game, in fact it wasn't people I knew.
"Alex you can go first!" She said making my eyes widen. I shrugged and tied the blindfold around eyes and spun the bottle. I prayed it would be someone who wouldnt force themselves onto me.
"Okay, go on to the room and dont take the blindfold off until you're in there." She said. Then a cold hand laced through mine and pulled me towards the room.
I heard the door open and the close. My heart was racing as to who it might be, the guy was still holding my hand. But it was different, like he didn't want to let go...weird.
"Are you gonna kiss me or what?" I asked nervously. The guy chuckled, his voice was deep and husky - I definitely didnt know him.
"We don't have to if it makes you uncomfortable, we can just wait until the five minutes is up." He asked. I felt him touch my cheek lightly and shivered. A random guy just doesn't take you into a dark room and stands there.
"Just do it. Its just a kiss." I said suddenly brave and wanting to kiss him. His voice alone make me want him.
He reached for my blindfold but i touched his hand to stop him. "Don't you wanna look it at me?" He asked.
"I'm just afraid...you don't like my face." I said dumbly. He laughed despite the stupid reason and untied it in a swift motion. When it fell off I was face to face with the hottest guy in the world.
His dark brown hair had that 'just rolled out of bed' look, his eyes were lazy and intermediating but still managed to attract you. He had pink lips that I really wanted to kiss and a tattoo was visible under his white shirt. The stranger has a ear piercing too along with a slight 5oclock shadow.
"Why wouldn't like such a beautiful face mm?"
He lifted my chin up slowly and pressed his lips onto mine. A weird feeling gripped my insides, it was like floating 500 feet in the air. His hand gripped my waist tightly and pulled me closer to him.
I let my fingers slip into his thick hair, his other hand cupped my cheek gently. "My god." He whispered and pulled back slightly. My breath was heavy but he kissed me more fiercely and bit my lip hard.
I felt like I would burst into flames from the sudden heat of his body against mine. His hand moved up into my long brown hair and tangled into my it. I tugged his hair slightly making him grin into the kiss.
It was undescribable and heavenly. But why am I kissing a guy so intensely? Like I needed this and needed...him? I came to my senses and pulled away so quickly i stumbled over my feet.
"Who the hell are you?" He whispered, still as shocked as I am. His breathing was ragged.
"I...sorry." I said and walked out of the door and out of the den. Leaving the kisser and other party people behind me, I felt so confused that I just stumbled out the front foor and towards the car.
I heard someone running and prayed it wasn't the kisser. "Lex? What's wrong? I saw you storm out now." Jack said stepping in front of me. I faked a smile.
"Just feeling sick...the smell of weed is just ug."
He frowned and i knew he didn't believe me but he dailed a number. It was Stacy. He hung up and opened the car. "Im getting you to Stace, Nash's giving her a ride home." He said. I nodded and got in.
On the ride home Jack and I cracked jokes but I felt unsettled by the passionate kiss with a complete stranger. I could still remember his dimples when he smirked.
"Lex?" Jack snapped a finger.
"Huh what?" I looked up realizing we're at Stacy's house already. I laughed. "Sorry I'm just uh thinking." I said and got out before he questioned me.
"You'll be okay?" He asked as we went inside.
"Staaay with me!" I pouted and threw my arms around his neck. He picked me up bridal style and ran up the stairs to Stacy's room.
I quickly changed into a oversized shirt and hoped into the bed with Jack. "Stacy can sleep on the other side." He said stretching.
"Kick me tonight and I'll stab you in your sleep Jack Gilinsky." I said seriously.
"If you promise to not drool on my arm." He said making a face. We both burst into laughter and nudged each other before settling in bed.
"Night pea." He said.
"Night chubz." I said. He chuckled.
This is why i love Jack. He always made me laugh when I have a bad day, he was always there and sometimes i wonder what I'd do if i didn't have a friend like him. But when he snored, I was still wide awake thinking about the stranger i kissed.
Who is her? Does he even go to our school? But what really bothered me was...
Will I ever see him again?
