Me- since when I'm 24 and haven't had a mother in four years so why would I claim you now when you didn't stand up and claim me
Vivica- because you make mistake after mistake
Me- Mistakes are you delusional, I was top of my class in every single grade, dean's list barely got into trouble, never followed the wrong crowd, always respectful unless someone disrespected me, always used my voice for good, and always helped whoever needed it, I graduated from college with a Masters and im very very successful, I'm engaged to a man who adopted my baby and loves us to pieces and I'm living good so mistakes I can't recall not one
Vivica- I can recall a couple of mistakes
Me- let me stop you right there because if you call my child a mistake I'm bound to knock yo head off your shoulders mother or not and if Reggie is the mistake your referring to I would never stay with a man who cheats and belittles me and leaves when he finds out he has a child
Vivica- oh everybody cheats even your father don't act like it can't happen to you and getting pregnant was the mistake and losing your man you're so full of yourself and it's sickening you always thought you were better just because you made different choices than me well news flash you were left by a man and was left with a child to be a single mother so who's better now
Me- your so foul man what have you turned into a replica of dad man you could never be your own woman
Vivica- im more of a woman than you will ever be, I kept a man and your father never doubted you were his
Me- I know you're trying to hurt me but you have done enough of that my entire life so you continue to have a miserable life
Vivica looked down at my stomach and scuffed

Me- I hate you and it's Faye Brewster, I hope you really get help and I make it my goal every day to never be a half-ass, low life, weak ass mother like you the only mistake was me being born by two wack ass parents
I walked out not letting the tears surface until I got in my car
I really despise them as parents man like you really this bitter after all this time like come on now my feelings was so hurt that someone who birthed you could say all those things, they should be happy they got a child with all their stuff together, head on straight but no she envies it the way she talked about me showed me exactly what I needed to see all these years
I went in the house changing my clothes and getting under the covers playing the videos of Dave, Layla, and I with the cover over my head I was just in a very sad mood which is ten times worse that I'm pregnant and emotional and I wanted Dave but I know he busy
Dave POV
It was 2:30 so I pulled up to the school to grab my baby I missed her today and I couldn't wait to spend our time together that's why I love picking her up from school
Me- baby!!!
I rushed to her and she rushed to me
Layla- finally hey dada!!!
I picked her tossing her in the air as she giggled
Me- I missed you so much, girl
Layla- I missed you so much more
We got in the car and headed home
Layla- wait let's get slushies and get mommy one
Me- yeah let's do that
We grabbed the slushies and headed home
I made my way up the elevator stopping at Faye and I room door
I could hear the videos of us coming through her IPad letting me know something happened or she is in her feelings about something and when we aren't here she says it's the only thing that makes her feel better
I heard Layla coming off the elevator
Layla- let's get mommy and watch a movie
Me- yeah we can baby, but first, go change your school clothes and grab you a snack we'll be down
Layla- okay Im getting hot chips dad
Me- just one bag Lay
Layla- yes daddy
I watched her go down the steps I walked in the room and sat on the bed pulling the cover off Faye's face
Me- what's wrong with my baby
She turned her body towards me her eyes were bloodshot and still had tears falling from her eyes
I pulled her in my lap rubbing her back and rocking her back and forth she immediately broke down
I had no clue what was going on my only focus was calming her down and getting her to stop crying I hate seeing her cry
Faye- I hate her so fucking much Dave
Me- hold on mama breath breath
She did what I said now being calmer

Faye- I went to the beauty supply I told you me and my mom been going to since I was a kid and we ran into each other quite literally
Faye went on telling me everything her mother said to her I was pissed that she could stoop that low and try to belittle Faye she so jealous of her and I mean that with everything in me what type of mother would want their child to be with a man that's less than them, don't respect them or treat her like a queen, what type of mother wouldn't be excited that you accomplished so much and now getting married it's the type that wishes they did what you did but she messed that up staying with a man just like the one she wanted her daughter to stay with she pathetic
Me- look at me she jealous of you mamas you have everything she never got, a man that really loves you fr and caters to you and adores our daughter that I adopted and treat like my own because she is and Vivica just got a man that tells her what to do and how to do it and she follows his lead when it comes to you I've been following your lead from the start she wants the life you made for yourself successful single mother because you wouldn't let a man play with you or your child and your mother could never do that she wishes she had your strength now look at you still leveling up and now about to live happily married. Do not let her get you like this when she didn't do half the shit you've done your too good of a person for people to treat you bad so when they do you know it's because they envy you and haters and I know that's your mom but you're my everything so ain't nobody on this earth gone belittle the woman I love and think it's okay but best believe I'll be here every single time to lift you back up never let her get you like this she does not deserve it trust me
She wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me so tight
Faye- I promise ima make sure I make you the happiest husband because you make me so freaking happy you just turned my whole day around by what you said I appreciate it so much and I promise to never let her get me there she's old news and her jealousy towards me is something I can not control so ima give her no energy why would I waste it on someone as nasty as her so you right and I love you so much David
Me- you right you too good of a person to have yo spirits all down so gone head and wipe your tears away, you too fucking beautiful to be crying sad tears
I wiped away her tears
Faye- thank you, baby
Me- let's cheer my baby all the way up come downstairs meet Lay and I in the movie room
Faye- I can do that
She smiled I smiled back kissing her lips
Me- I would sit yo moms down for making my pregnant fiancée cry ima be easy though
She bust out laughing
Faye- lol I love yo thug ass so much David
Me- I love you more mama
I smirked as I made my way downstairs grabbing all Faye and Layla favorite snack
Outgoing call Philip
Phil- good evening sir
Me- wassup I need you to get me some white roses sent for my wife but I need to call and rent out her favorite spa place and put the card in there with Saturday date
Phil- will do, what would you like the card to say, boss
Me- I'm going to make sure there is always a smile on that beautiful face, I hope you and your friends enjoy your spa day, love daddy

Philip has been my assistant since I took him from the streets I trained him to be damn good since he was 15 and now he is 23 and one of the highest-paid assistants and comes highly recommended
