On the third day after their marriage, Chen Sinan and Xin Siyue went according to their plans and began their honeymoon trip.
Since Xin Siyue didn’t really know much of the famous scenic areas around the area, all of it was arranged by Chen Sinan.
They both watched the sun rise up from the edge of a seascape, ate boundless desserts, visited famous and towering mountains, saw amazingly clear and beautiful waters… the two of them enjoyed various kinds of awe-struck sceneries together.
Though, having to accompany him in his messing about during the night after a big day was really tiring, Xin Siyue had to admit that moving to one place after another, delving into the customs of all these different locations, was both interesting and rewarding.
In the blink of an eye, half a month had already passed. During these past two days, both of them happened to be staying on an island.
The weather on this island was very cool. After waking up and dressing himself, Chen Sinan fiddled with the camera, he was looking through the photos he took of her these past two days here.
The smiling her, the her who deliberately hid from the camera, the time when she stood peacefully in front of the sunset, the moments when she was playing with the water… each image of these images of Xin Siyue was like a beautiful painting, it carved itself deeply into the depths of his heart.
While looking at these photos, a smile slowly grew on Chen Sinan’s lips subconsciously. He got up and went back to the bedroom, only to find a small little ball nestled inside of the white blankets.
While walking over to her, he shouted, “Honey, it’s time to wake up!”
The person on the bed didn’t seem to move, she also showed no signs of waking up.
“Honey, it’s time to wake up! The sun is already up.” Chen Sinan sat on the edge of the bed and lifted up the blanket. “Didn’t you say you wanted to go swimming? If the sun gets too hot later you’ll…”
Xin Siyue, who was completely exhausted and in need of some shut-eye, was startled to find her blanket suddenly pulled away. However, since she couldn’t even bear to open her eyes right now, she pulled another corner of the blanket and covered it over her head, wrapping herself up tightly.
Upon seeing this, Chen Sinan laughed. He leaned over towards her and brought out his best threat, “If you don’t get up then I guess we’re not going out today. We can just spend our day on the hotel bed.” After he said this, his hand slowly crawled into the blanket.
Xin Siyue hurriedly avoided his hand as if it was made of electricity. She quickly sat up and opened her sleepy eyes, saying, “Fine! I’m getting up!” Because she suddenly did this while half-asleep, she couldn’t help herself from falling forward, which happened to be right into Chen Sinan’s arms.
The latter reached out to stroke her hair. After helping her smooth out her messy bed head, he said in a soft and soothing tone, “If you’re really tired, then we don’t have to go out today. We can just reschedule for tomorrow.”
Xin Siyue closed her eyes as she shook her head in his arms. “Wouldn’t it be the same if we go tomorrow?” She then raised her head to look at him. “Are you not going to mess around tonight?”
Chen Sinan proudly and firmly expressed himself, “Wouldn’t I be doing myself wrong if I don’t mess around during my honeymoon?”
Xin Siyue, “…”
I really want to slap his face with my slippers!
In the end, Xin Siyue still managed to fight for another half hour of sleep for herself. After washing up and having breakfast, it was already close to half-past ten.
Xin Siyue took her sun hat and sunglasses while pulling his arm. “Come on! Let’s go! I had a look at the beaches here the other day. The water is very clear!”
“Heh, so now you feel excited? Who was the one who wouldn’t get up earlier?”
Xin Siyue naturally ignored his remarks.
After playing to her heart’s content, Xin Siyue laid down on a lounge chair. She leisurely watched the other people on the beach having fun.
Chen Sinan, who was lying close beside her, would take a few shots of his wife with the camera he brought from time to time.
