I look at the clock and not paying attention to the teacher as i excitedly wait for lunch to start. The teacher was talking about the anatomy of the human body and was going out in detail about the digestive track and all about those good bacterias that resides there
But i already knew that
Lactic Acid Bacteria help the body with immunity, digestion, getting rid of excessive nutrients (purines), and activation of dendritic cells by making polysaccharides. Some even help rebuild the Intestinal Lining

Soon, i jolt up in excitement as the bell rang which can be heard throughout the school and it signals that class was partially over and it is lunch time!
I pack up my things like the rest of my classmates, putting my notebook on my bag and arranging my pen and putting them in a separate section of my bag. Going outside my classroom with wallet inside my pockets, i came to greet a friend of mine, Fuutarou Uesugi
He was on line with a tray and i grab one for myself and went besides him
Fuutarou Uesugi, a nerd in this school that is a total perfectionist in every aspect of his grades. He's a great friend of mine since we were little but we're not in the same class
Y/N: Fuutarou! Whats up!
Fuutarou: Ah, Y/N. Its you
Y/N: Is that how you really greet a buddy of yours?
As the line gets closer and closer to the end, i look at the menu and sigh as food was all the same as everyday, i wish there was some variety to it that can spark up new flavors
Y/N: Dry braised salted fish, please
Fuutarou: I'll have the barbecue beef combo but without the beef
Lunch Lady: Alright, here you go you two. Enjoy
I accepted the dish from the lunch lady and begin to talk towards our typical table that we always eat. I look at Fuutarou's plate and felt a little upset that he lacked any fine taste for food
Y/N: You know, i can treat you if you want. Hell, cook you free meal
Fuutarou: Last time you cooked meal to the delinquent, you put laxatives on it, hell no, im not falling for that
I gave an akward laugh as my prank for the delinquents for messing with Fuutarou ended with them being busy at the boy's classroom for half an hour which was pretty funny for everyone. Im quite a schemer if you can say
Welp, that was 5 months ago and both of us will never forget about that prank
Y/N: Hmm, if not a meal then probably dessert, you want Sakura Mochi?
Sakura Mochi. A delicate and elegant snack. The dark green leaf adds complexity to the overall warm color palette. Just looking at it gives you a sense of its quiet beauty. 'Tis a shame that its lovely flavor is like a blooming flower in transience yet do not let that dissuade you from taking a bite

And as we approach our usual place, instead of 2 trays being put on the table, there was an additional tray landing on our place, both me and Fuutarou looked at who was trying to get our place and we saw a girl with reddish-orange hair and dark blue eyes. She wore a pair of star-shaped near both of her eyes
Y/N: U-Umm...
???: I got here first. The table next to me is unoccupied, please move
Fuutarou: But this is where we eat lunch everyday
Y/N: Well...we are in the canteen after all

Y/N: You know, you're bad at diplomacy. Let me handle this
Grabbing a chair from the next seat that the girl pointed out, i drag it across the floor and putting it on the side and i sit down between this girl and Fuutarou
Y/N: Excuse me miss, hope you dont mind our company

Y/N: Alright, now seat down and eat, Fuutarou. Im starving!
Fuutarou: Tsk, fine...

Grabbing my chopsticks and about to dig in on my fish, i take a bite from the salted fish and the flavor of it was obviously salty, but the good kind. It was my favorite on the menu, delicious and came in a reasonable price
I look at Fuutarou and he was calculating the food on the girl's plate while the girl seems to be embarassed from her situation. I dont blame her, she's sitting down with some dudes she doesnt even know
And the way she looks...she's kinda cute
Fuutarou: Great...im having lunch with 2 Aristocrats from the higher society
Eyyy! He called me an Aristocrat! My mother and father both work abroad plus they bought me a studio apartment where i live alone, i usually only worry about Water, Electricity and Gas bills but not rent or anything
But the girl besides me...she could be rich or just had extra money to use on her plate
???: M-Mind your manners, im reviewing my exams so live me alone
Y/N: Ahhh, the exams, would you perhaps need a reviwer or something? You can use mine if you want, i got a decent score, no intentions of bragging by the way
I offer the girl my papers and she kindly accepted it. She begins to review it starting by my name

Y/N: Nice!!
???: E-Ehhh?! Wh-Whats this...! You got the hardest questions correct yet have some of the easiest incorrect?!
Y/N: Hahaha! Just messing with the teachers
Fuutarou: You know, you should stop playing with your grades just to get a funny number
Ignoring Fuutarou's words and giving a smug shrug of confidence, im smart enough to play with my own grades and still pass, unlike Fuutarou, i usually enjoy my youth while still being successfully smart

Fuutarou: Im reviewing my exam, be quiet

The girl then grabs Fuutarou's exam papers and begins to take a look. I grew a huge grin on my face as she turns the paper and expected her reaction
???: Lets see here, Uesugi Fuutarou. You scored...
Oh boy, here it comes!
I watch the girl reads Fuutarou's score while i took a spoonful of my dish. Her reaction could be priceless or be a generic surptise
???: A-A hundred?! Are you for real?!
And the reaction was like any other...man, many elements on the periodic table are more reactive than that

???: You two are amazing, Y/N has some potential if he doesnt mess around. I hate to admit it but im not good with my studies, in short, i envy
She then claps her hand and prayed to us that we will accept her request
???: Lady Luck brought you two to my table. Please help me with my studies

Fuutarou: Thanks for the meal
Fuutarou then picked up his tray and started to leave
Y/N: O-Oi! Help me finish this Sakura Mochi!
???: Your friend is right. Are you already full? Shall i share some of mine
Y/N: Bribing with food will work on anyone, but not on Fuutarou
Fuutarou: If anything, the both of you should lay down on the food and not get fat
Woah woah woah! D-Did Fuutarou just really said that to a freaking girl?! Holy crap! Thats one recipe for disaster and its gonna go an overload...
???: G-Gain...i've never met someone so insensitive! Fine! Im not giving you anything!
Y/N: Uhhh, how about we all calm down for a while. Fuutarou, i'll see you after school. Umm, miss, how about we sit down and continue with our meal

Fuutarou then leaves, the girl sits back down with a very adorable pout. I gave a sigh of relief as a crisis has been averted. Looking at my container, there were still Sakura Mochis leftover and i simply cannot finish this by myself
Y/N: Would you like some Sakura Mochi?
???: Why are you still here?
Y/N: Im not done eating
???: I-Im sorry, also, i'll take one
Both of us continue to eat our meal as well as the dessert i made. Once the girl took a bite from the Sakura Mochi, she gave a squeal of delight as if she loved my cooking
???: T-This is so good~! Where did you buy this?
Y/N: I made it, glad you enjoyed it
Itsuki: O-Oh, i havent introduced myself, my name is Nakano Itsuki. And umm...i was also thinking if you can help me study
I look at her for a second before slowly looking back at my meal...she's...quite cute
Y/N: Sure, i dont see any problems with that
We have a few minutes chat before finishing our food, we say our farewell to each other and head back to our class. Itsuki also noted that she was a transfer student that explains the different uniform she wore

While walking through the hallway, Fuutarou calls out to me and when he reaches me, he seems to have recieved good news
Fuutarou: I got a new job! This will surely put my family out of debt!

Fuutarou: Im gonna be a private tutor. Though, i could probably use some assistance so i went to you and i was wondering if you can help me with this

I returned to my seat and wait for the teacher to arrive back in class. I look outside the window and let time pass and while doing so, a surge of memories flow through me making me remember times of the past
A minute later, the teacher arrives soon and the whole class went to their assigned seats and begin to quiet down. The teacher places her stuff on the desk, the whole class was prepared for today's lesson and had immidiatley prepared their books and notebooks
Teacher: Before we start the class, i have an announcement to make. This year, a new transfer student will be joining us. I hope you guys get along together
A beautiful girl enters the classroom. She had long pink-ish hair with two pigtails on the sides. Her notable accessories are twin butterfly-shaped ribbons on both sides of her head. She had a beautiful smile on her that can charm anyone
Nino: My name is Nino Nakano, im a transfer from Kurobara Girl's Highschool. I'll be in your care
Nakano...huh...i take that she's Itsuki's sister. Plus, looking at her, she kinda resembles Itsuki in a way. The boys in this class begin to whisper to one another about her beauty while i look at my new classmate in a non-creepy manner
Teacher: I think i prepared a extra seat beforehand
I look besides me and who would have guessed...an empty chair right besides me. Now that i look at it, the seating arrangements of this class changed
I sat in the middle row of the class and a convient empty chair was empty...she's now my new seatmate, welp, hope i can know her better
Teacher: Thats your seat, right next to L/N
Boy Classmate 1: Ehh? Y/N is sitting next to the new hottie?

Proceeding to her seat, she took a quick glance at me before sitting down at her seat, as she does so, her beautiful hair whipped around like a beautiful ribbon swirling gracefully. She grabs her stuff from the bag and taking out a notebook with feminine aesthetics and a pen that has cute designs
Inside my head, thoughts begin to debate whether or not i should introduce myself to her. But with a bit of courage in me, pushing aside my bad social skills, i decided to just wing it and see what happens

Nino: Mm, nice to meet you as well
Her reaction was flavourless, stale and bland. It felt like there was a hard shell covering her and it can probably take some time before she opens up
I didnt bother having a small chat with her because it felt like it would annoy Nino, plus, she's a new student here and it can be uncomfortable for her to have a stranger such as myself to be interact with her all of a sudden
It didnt take long before the teacher started his lesson on Physics. People find this subject rather challenging but for me, it was a subject where i can fool around and still pass with an above average score. From time to time, i notice Nino taking some glances at me but i didnt mind it because it felt like she wants to open up to me
But my hypothesis was proven wrong when Nino was only checking out if i was a teacher's pet, she used the classic technique of hiding your phone behind the textbook
Cant blame her, im doing the same on a manga im currently reading
Its something i can pull off without any harsh retribution as i was one the top 10 of the class, ranking 10th, if i poured my intelligence more, i would've gotten the same score as Fuutarou. But who would when you can meme with your grades
The story on the manga was getting better that pulls me further into the story, flipping pages qiuetly while acting like im paying attention. Essentially, i lost track of time as i flip through the manga's pages

It wad now 4:30PM signalling class is now done for today. I give a little stretch and put away my manga, everyone was packing their things, i grab my bag and head out
Outside the classroom was Nino being cornered by 3 guys who seems to be taking a very early approach and she is quite annoyed by them
Boy Classmate 1: Nino, have you familiarized yourself in this school?
Boy Classmate 2: We can show you around if you want
Boy Classmate 3: We can also get to know each other along the way
The last guy's response was creepy as hell that is similar to a NTR doujin and seeing nobody seems to be minding their doings, i decided to intervene on this creepy ordeal

Putting a hand on one of the guy's shoulder that gave me attention among them and cutting off Nino mid-speech, the 3 guys looked at me with a look of uneasyness as i gave them a fright

The 3 boys soon gave a scared expression and fast walk out of the hallway. I gave a sigh of relief as my intimidation helped me solved this problem in a peaceful and quick way
I turn towards Nino giving a relieved expression
Y/N: You okay, Nino?
Nino: Huh? O-Oh...yeah, thanks for that
Timeskip, the next day
Lunch Lady: Here you go you two, 1 Barbecue Beef Combo without Beef and 1 Dry Braised Salted Fish
Y/N: My man, why wont let me treat you with a meal?
Fuutarou: Thats how you lose money and gain weight
Y/N: Deadpan Its just 1 meal...
Both of us continued to walk towards our usual lunch spot but while heading there, we encountered Itsuki sitting with Nino and 3 other of her friends
Fuutarou closes his eyes and gave a fake and unconvincing smile and for the reason he's doing this...i dont have clue
Itsuki and Nino notices me, Nino glances at me then looks back at her plate while Itsuki gives me a smile and a wave as well as signalling to me that the seat next to her is free. I politely decline her invitation
And as we pass by, Itsuki specifically told Fuutarou that their table was full, then, behind us was someone standing up from the table and heard someone approaching us. Looking at the source of the approaching person, i saw her holding Fuutarou
Not knowing on what should i do, i decided to leave him behind and go to our usual spot before anyone takes it
I look at the delicious fish...
Dried fish that has been grilled slowly over a charcoal flame. Fish air-dried overnight have a tinge of the salty sea wind and give off a tantalizing flavor when grilled
I pick a small portion of the fish with my chopsticks but before i can put the food on my mouth, Fuutarou came to our table with a head full of thoughts
???: Y/N! Fuutarou!
Y/N: Errr, do i know you?
Yotsuba: Oh, im Yotsuba! Nice to meet you!
Y/N: How do you know our names?
Yotsuba: Good question, but...! I am gonna need his attention
Yotsuba points at Fuutarou who was still in deep thought. I snap my fingers in front of him and got his attention
Y/N: You look like you need some actual food. Anyway, what is it that you need, Yotsuba?
Yotsuba: Did you happen to lose an exam paper? One has a perfect score and the other a very nice score or was it this two zeros?
Y/N: How do you have our papers?
Yotsuba: Well, you see. When you were walking past us, your papers fell out and i noticed! So here we are! So, which one is it?
Me and Fuutarou pointed at the ones with a perfect score and a very nice one which is basically pointing at ourselves and with that, Yotsuba gave us a surprised reaction of how honest the both of us were while we sweatdrop as we eat our meal
Its a stupid question anyway, the exam paper has our names...
Yotsuba: Then i shall grant you all four of them
Fuutarou: We dont need it, also, who scored two zeros?
Yotsuba: Scratches Head I did...
Y/N: And why are you giving it to us?

Everywhere we go, Yotsuba would be a meter away from the both of us everywhere and anywhere...
Yotsuba: I thought of you guys are like silent and unwelcoming but i guess i can add the word "Genius" to it
She said that out from the corner as me and Fuutarou leaves the gent's washroom. Considering we were there for a minute
And now, currently me and Fuutarou are on the boy's changing room as our section was doing a collab on PE but a girl that has energetic vibes was stalking us for the past 30 minutes and she was by on the door, watching us like a predator stalking its prey
Y/N: Will you stop following us?
Yotsuba: But you still havent thanked me
Y/N: What now...?
Yotsuba: When someone picks something up for you, you say "Thank You" how can you not know that?
I gave a sigh as all for that was just to ask for a simple "Thank you". I look at her, bend my knee to her level and gave her a childish head pat

It was now end of today's class and i was with Fuutarou helping him with his tutoring job. Though...we have yet to start, Fuutarou was hiding from Itsuki behind a cardboard cutout of a restaurant's mascot while i was reading my Manga a few meters away from this weirdo
Y/N: First of all, why the hell are you doing this? Second, people will think you're a stalker, third, what the hell are you doing...
Fuutarou: I thought she'd be alone
Wow...what a perfectly normal response...
I continue to read my manga while also taking a quick glance at Itsuki, i quickly analayze that she and some other 2 girls are with her as she walks home, i was unable to identify one of them me as the distance was around 20 meters plus i only took a quick peak
Then, one of Itsuki's look alike friend approaches the both of us. She wore headphones around her neck and wore a blue jacket
???: Are you two having fun
Y/N: Dont think im agreeing with his motives...whatever the hell it may be
Fuutarou: Its not bad, this is my hobby
Y/N: Could your answers be more creepier than the last one...
???: Calling in support
This girl...she's quite cute. Even if she seems to sound like introverted or actually is one

She then ran off back to her friends while i look at Fuutarou who seems to be getting me some blames on the girl

Fuutarou was using his phone's GPS to get to the adress that he was suppose to work while i read my manga as the plot of the arc gets more interesting as i flip through pages
I let out a surprise gasp as the mystery of the arc has been revealed
Y/N: Ahh! So the child was the killer all along! Th-Then...that means, oh my god! What a impressive 5D chess move! Then all that non sensical murders and torture was all her manipulating the contestants phsycologically!
Fuutarou: Oi! What the hell are you reading...
Y/N: Shhh! Not now!
Suddenly, while i was reading the epilogue of the arc, i bumbed into Fuutarou who suddenly stopped walking
Y/N: What the- oh, is this the place?
Fuutarou: I think so. She's so rich, this has to be the right adress
Fuutarou walks to the apartment while follow closely behind, still reading the manga as the whole volume was about to end but suddenly a voice soon spoke up to us which grabs my attention
I look away from what im reading and saw the introverted girl with blue jacket and surprisingly, Nino, on the entrance
???: Are you two stalking Itsuki?
Fuutarou: No, its not that
Nino: Persistent are we? Y/N, are you helping this stalker?
Y/N: Its more of a "Stopping this douche from doing anything stupid" help. Also, hey Nino, what a coincidence bumping into you
Fuutarou & ???: You know him / her?
Y/N: Whatever, excuse me ladies, come on Fuutarou. Plus, we live here
I lied as naturally i breathe
Nino: H-Hey, hold on you...
Ignoring Nino's words and using the initiative to enter the building and exploiting their confusion. I then see Itsuki using the elavator and going up
Y/N: Shoot...so you wanna use the stairs?
Fuutarou: I'll catch up to Itsuki. I'll meet you up top
Giving him a thumbs up, Fuutarou then rans towards the stairs while i head to the elevator and press the up button and silently wait. While waiting, Nino and the other girl arrives
Y/N: Ah, its you two. Sorry for lying back there, i dont live here and just helping out a friend
Nino: Whats the deal with your friend anyway? Is he stalking Itsuki or something?
Y/N: If he was stalking her, i would've punched him to his senses before getting this far
Then, while waiting, Yotsuba and another girl that held up Fuutarou back in lunch joins up and gave us a greeting. The elevator soon arrives and all 5 of us entered
It was me and 4 girls in a enclosed elavator...not wanting to keep the akward silent, i decided to speak up
Y/N: So...i havent introduced myself, my name is Y/N L/N. I pressume you guys are close to Itsuki, are you perhaps her sisters?
Yotsuba: Yeah! You catch on quick
Y/N: I mean, you all look like her in some way or another
I look besides me and a girl was standing next besides me, a girl with very short hair that has a single long strand on the right side. She has white-pink hair colour. Her notable accessory is a single piece of earring
Ichika: Oh, im Ichika, nice to meet you
Not gonna like, Ichika has some good Onee-san Ara Ara vibes that it almost caught me off guard
Y/N: Mm, likewise. What about you?
Miku: Its Miku...
Y/N: Alright, nice to meet you all. Hold up, you guys are all in the same year, right?
All 4 girls nodded their heads and that answer made me surprised
Y/N: Th-Then...you girls are quintuplets...?!
They nodded again and confirmed my question. The fact that having a quintuplets is one in 60 million! Thats amazing if you think about it
Then, arriving at the destined floor, all 5 of us walked out of the elavator, it was 30th floor and it took some time to get here
Nino: That guy infront of our condo was creepy
Y/N: Bad first impression, i suppose
The 4 of them turns around and see Fuutarou while i waved at him, then, i lower my hand as i see Itsuki on the ground while i gave Fuutarou a questioning face
Ichika: Oh, its the honor roll kid
Nino: Its him! The stalker!
Yotsuba: Uesugi is a stalker!
Miku: Dont get ahead of yourself
Fuutarou: W-Why are they...
Itsuki sighs and walks toward her sisters
Itsuki: Isnt it obvious, we live here
Walking towards Fuutarou and wrapping my arm around his shoulder and wait for his reaction when the truth is revealed
Fuutarou: Friends living in the same apartment? Huh, neat
Itsuki: No...we're actually quintuplets
