Our lives are nothing but stories.
Chance encounters,
Embellishments of faith and fate
Our lives are wind,
Our lives are petals flowing across shores of blue,
They are,
missed phone calls
missing puzzle pieces,
forgotten letters,
discouraged poems,
They are,
Falling
Flailing
Screaming
Laughing
Crying
Swimming
Jumping
Clapping
The are,
Babies
our lives are
We are tripping dominoes falling down hills with loved ones
Dancing hand-in-hand with no audible music,
Singing, smiling, cooing doves,
filled with little lightning bugs,
Bonfires,
Liars,
Huggers,
Buyers
We are cloth on a tapestry,
intertwined colors and blood,
mushed together in water and suds
