You were wrapped around in blankets with an arm tightly wrapped around your body.
You were awfully tired but still tried to open your eyes, shifting a little around. "Please... let's stay like this", you heard him say, his voice muffled as his face was pressed against your naked back. You let out a sleepy chuckle, "I don't wanna get up myself", "then don't..", he said before nuzzling more into your neck, giving your skin a soft peck.
"Let's sleep some more", he suggested making you hum in agreement. Though it didn't last long as you awoke from his unpeaceful slumber, the nightmares haunting him every night, which wasn't new to you but you still wished that he would find his peace soon.
Twitching in his sleep and almost whimpering, you turned around in his arms to press yourself further against him making him tighten his grip around you, waking him slightly up, "(Y/N)?", "mhm?", "thank god...", he mumbled making you perk up.
"What?", "I just had a nightmare", "I could tell-", "about you and Ann...", "oh... what.. what was it about? You wanna talk about it?", you asked getting slightly up and shifting around so you were sitting on his lap, making him wrap his arms loosely around your hips.
"I keep seeing Ann getting killed as you know... but this time I saw them taking you with them. Ripping you away from my grip...", "those men?", "no... Bonten", he muttered.
His face shifting to an unreadable one. "They're gone..", you reassured, "just like those other men. They won't be able to hurt us anymore." Nodding his head, he gripped your arm and pushed you down towards his chest, wrapping his arms securely around you. For some reason though.. you were doubting your own words but Nat didn't give you time to think about it as he started to stroke your back, his fingers slowly creeping downwards.
Nat had taken you out on several more dates after your date and night spend together, and if you were honest, you didn't even want him to go back to his own home anymore as you enjoyed living with him.
The atmosphere between you two was calm and peaceful.
Whenever you would come home from work he was already there, food ready, cuddled up with your cat on the couch. He was getting more and more used to the missing presence of his daughter as it had been two months now. Two months of you two living together in comfortable companionship.
And he was thankful! Thankful for your presence, in exchange, of his gone daughter.
You hat made it easier for him to cope with his loss and healing process. Never leaving him alone for too long with his thoughts. Holding him when he felt at loss again. Reassuring him that he isn't alone.. not anymore at least.
You two often drove out towards the forest, bringing flowers and fixing up his daughters self made grave.
Though despite all that, there was just one thing that even your boss couldn't understand nor your friend, you both weren't officially together yet.
You always dismissed it as 'too early'. Even though whenever you two were out, everyone who saw you two, would believe that you two were a couple. You didn't mind though. You wanted him to fully heal, wanted him to be as fully ready as he can be before devoting himself to a new relationship and a new chapter of his life.
"Sooo, y'all have another date night tonight?", Nami asked, grinning at you, happy that you finally got someone you got along with and seemed to like.
"Mmh, that's at least what he told me", you said, currently cleaning the cash register as it was getting dusty again from all the clothes around you. "Ah, I'm so excited-", Nami cut herself off as your phone rang. You took a glance towards it, a message from Nat popping up on the display.

Hope so too, I asked if they could send someone else but they insisted that I have to go.. fucking annoying

Nami was eyeing you with a grin on her face, as you were smiling down at your phone.
"Nat?", "huh?", "nat?", "oh, yeah!", you chuckled, "he got an emergency call and will be home a bit later than usual." You honestly didn't mind that. Thinking about the way you would have some time to make yourself a bit more presentable after work. Your thoughts drifting to all the possible dresses you could wear for Nat.
"Awww and date night?", "still on!", you grinned at her, a glimmer in your eyes.
"Awww he's so cute", she squealed a bit, when she took a peek at the messages he wrote, "I'm so happy for you, finally a worthy man that treats you like the princess that you are!"
For Nami, it seemed like all her prayers and wishes were heard. The wish for you to get a decent loving man, that has only eyes for you and treats you like a precious diamond. Carrying you in his arms so you wouldn't have to walk a mile.
Now she hoped that Nat would finally make the move and ask you out. That's all she wanted!
She even met him already and exchanged numbers with him, winking both at you when she said, "we should go on a double date with my boyfriend once!"
She loved cheesy stuff like this so the thought of you two going on a double date made her very excited! Though you remember how Nat chuckled nervously after meeting her, telling you afterwards, how it felt like he was meeting her parents. Nami seemed very stern at the beginning. Asking him question after question. Practically interrogating him like a Mom until she was satisfied and asked for his number.
"Oh, (Y/N), your shift is over", she noticed, making you nod your head. You went to get your stuff, a little skip in your step as you couldn't wait for Nats shift to be finally over and meet you home.
As soon as you had grabbed your stuff, you started to make your way outside. Waving at Nami and bidding her goodbye before you started your route back home.
"Huh? Bub?... Bub?!... hmm... where is he?", you wondered out loud, walking through the hallway. Usually he would greet you at the door but today there was silence, making you wonder if he doesn't feel well today or if he was just extra sleepy.
You decided to change out of your work clothes first before looking for him.
Walking towards your bedroom to put your bag down, you walked towards the closet to get a pair of comfortable joggers and a sweater, when you were met with a half empty closet. The only clothes still there were Nats.."what the..", you paused.
Furrowing your brows, you started to cautiously look around. Going as far as trying to hear any movements in case an intruder was still here. Even though it was bizarre that the intruder would only take your clothes and not Nats too. That was indeed quite odd. Making your heart race, picking up speed as you wondered what was goin on.
Was that plan of Nats surprise date night?
When you didn't hear anything nor saw something, you cautiously made your way outside the room.
Taking your phone out, you send a quick message to Nat. Warning him that something very odd was happening in your apartment. Bub was 'missing' and your clothes were missing a well. It was indeed quite odd.
Not waiting for a response you looked around, taking small quiet steps around the apartment. Though when you didn't saw anything suspicious nor weird, you felt more nervous than reassured. Cause for once, your cat was still missing. And second, your clothes also were still gone.
Your phone, that in your hand, vibrated. Seeing that Nat had answered you. He told you to lock yourself in the bathroom, hide there until he was here.
He was on his way.
Following his order, your phone fell from your hands as you turned around. Almost pissing yourself at the sudden presence in front of you.
Your blood running cold when you locked eyes with the pink haired, scarred man. A wide grin on his face, excitement shimmering in his eyes when he saw your sudden paled face. Taking a few steps towards you as he extended his hand, asking a question that made you swallow the lump in your throat.
