Yuto P.O.V
I was looking at the mysterious blue human-like spirit that appeared on Yuma's side.
Yuto: "Who is that or what is that?"
Then I saw that Yuma stands up and looks at the blue human-like spirit.
Yuma: "Who are you?"
The blue human-like spirit didn't answer Yuma's question which make Yuma gets annoyed.
Yuma: "Hey! I'm talking to you?"
The blue human-like spirit thinks a moment and glances at Yuma.
Astral: "Astral..."
He said making Yuma confused about what he just said.
Astral: "That is my name or at least I think so?"
Then I see that Bronk and Tori were looking at Yuma confused.
Tori: "Hey, Yuma? Are you okay?"
Bronk: "Who are you talking to?"
Yuma looked at us and he just pointed at Astral.
Yuma: "What do you mean who I'm talking to...? Is this strange guy who just appeared beside me."
That made both Tori and Bronk confused because they don't see anything where Yuma points at Astral which means only Yuma and I were the only two people who can see Astral at the moment.
Tori: "I don't see him, Yuma?"
Bronk: "Maybe his head hit pretty hard?"
After he said that I laugh at what he said to Yuma and Yuma looked at me who is laughing at the comment that Bronk said.
Yuma: "Could it be I'm the only one seeing this guy?"
Then Yuma thought of something and look at Astral.
Yuma: "I know! Maybe you're my guardian angel."
Astral looks at Yuma.
Astral: "I'm no such thing or am I?"
He said making Yuma look confused at Astral.
Astral: "After I arrived here I can't remember anything else other than my name."
After he said that I got surprised to hear what Astral is saying. Meaning that he got amnesia or something.
Yuto: "He can't remember as well."
While I was in my thought both Tori and Bronk looked at Yuma confused, then I cough at them and they all look at me.
Yuto: "Umn, Yuma. It is not a Guardian Angel or something, and I think that Yuma is not going crazy because I can see him too as well."
They looked at me with surprised looks especially Astral.
Tori: "Really, Yuto?"
I looked at Tori and nod her.
Bronk: "Or you're just imagining things, Yuto?"
I laugh once more at Bronk which made him more confused at me and then I stop laughing and looked at Bronk.
Yuto: "Bronk. I lived at Yuma for my entire childhood life and do you think I am losing my mind when he does something stubborn?"
He thinks for a moment about what I said and he nodded in agreement.
Bronk: "Point taken."
Then I looked at Yuma and Astral, but I see Astral looking at me with a surprised look.
Astral: "You can see me?"
He said which I nodded in response.
Astral: "It appears that only certain people can see me..."
Yuma: "Forget this, I must focus on this Duel."
Then I looked at Reginald's Number Xyz Monster that he summoned a moment ago.
Number 17: Leviathan Dragon (Atk 2500/Def 0/Dragon/Water/Rank 3/OLU 1)
Then I see that Reginald just smirks at Yuma
Reginald: "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon, with this Xyz summon I'm unbeatable, soon your Deck will be mine, I end my turn with a facedown."
Then one facedown card materialized in front of Reginald's field and with that, I looked at Yuma and Astral
Astral: "Duel..."
Then he noticed the field.
Astral: "I see, so this is a Duel."
Yuma looks at Astral.
Yuma: "So you Duel as well?"
He nodded.
Astral: "Indeed I am, now it's my turn."
Yuma: "Hey, I'm the one Dueling here!"
I sigh at Yuma's stubbornness.
Yuma: "My turn! I draw!"
He drew the card. Then Astral looks at Yuma's hands and what he's drawn, then he looks at the field.
Astral: "I summon Gogogo Golem in Defense Position."
He said that which got Yuma even more annoyed at Astral
Yuma: "Hey! Again I'm the one Dueling here."
Then he grab a card and then placed it on his Duel Disk.
Yuma: "I summon Gogogo Golem in Attack Position."
Gogogo Golem (Atk 1800/Def 1500/Rock/Earth/LV 4)
I saw that Yuma had just summoned his monster which I remember its monster effect and I just facepalm again at what Yuma did just now.
Yuto: "You're an idiot, Yuma. You should have summoned him in Defense Position as Astral said."
Astral: "I would have listened to him if I were you."
He's referring to me as he and I thought the same thing.
Yuma: "Shut up..."
Then Yuma takes another card from his hand.
Yuma: "I activate the Spell Card: Blustering Winds! With this card, one monster on my field gains 1000 Atk and Def points until my next Standby Phase."
Then Gogogo Golem has surrounded by a tornado of wind and starts to grow also it increases both Atk and Def by 1000 for the rest of this turn.
Gogogo Golem (Atk 1800 - 2800/Def 1500 - 2500/Rock/Earth/LV 4)
Tori: "Alright! Yuma's monster is stronger than Leviathan Dragon!"
She said as Bronk nodded in agreement. But I narrow my eyes and look at the Number monster on the field.
Yuto: "I got a bad feeling that Leviathan Dragon will not be destroyed this easily."
Yuma: "Go! Gogogo Golem attack Leviathan Dragon!"
His Gogogo Golem went to attack and hit the Leviathan Dragon with a punch resulting in an explosion and Reginald grunted a bit from the explosion also dealing a small amount of damage in the process
Reginald Kastle LP: 4000 - 3700
Yuma: "Alright! His monster is destroyed and Shark lost some life points."
Tori cheered and Bronk smiled at Yuma, but then I noticed something in the smoke meaning that this isn't over yet.
Yuto: "It's not over yet, Yuma! Turn around!"
When the smoke is cleared and we see the Leviathan Dragon is still in the field which surprises everyone.
Yuma: "What gives?! I destroy that monster fair and square?!"
Then we see Reginald laugh at Yuma.
Shark: "Sorry to disappoint you, but only a Number monster can destroy another Number monster."
That got everyone surprised at this.
Yuto: "Only a Number monster can destroy a Number monster, huh? Interesting..."
Yuma: "Oh man, I don't have a Number monster, if I can't destroy his monster then how am I supposed to beat him..."
Astral: "How indeed..."
Then Yuma looks at Astral.
Astral: "Also better do something because I see that Shark is ready to attack you."
Yuma: "What makes you an expert in Dueling?"
Astral looks at Yuma.
Astral: "Observation Number 1: These human Dueling skills are less skillful than I imagine."
When Astral said that I laugh at what he was talking about, then Astral looked at me.
Yuto: "You have no idea, Astral."
Astral: "He's worse isn't he?"
I nodded and that got Yuma annoyed even more.
Yuma: "Stop ganging up on me, Yuto!"
Reginald: "Since you're done, it's my turn! Draw!"
He drew a card and look at it which he "Tch" and played it.
Shark: "I summon Drill Barnacle in Attack Position!"
Drill Barnacle (Atk 300/Def 0/Aqua/Water/LV 3)
Astral: "Three hundred Atk, you just got lucky."
He looked at Yuma which got him to glare at Astral.
Yuma: "What do you mean by that?"
Yuto: "Yuma, Leviathan Dragon's effect remember?"
I said making Yuma surprised to realize what I just said right now.
Reginald: "I activate Leviathan Dragon's effect once more! By using an Overlay Unit it gains 500 Atk!"
The last Overlay Unit went to Leviathan Dragon's mouth and crush it with its mouth to increase its Atk by 500 once more.
Number 17: Leviathan Dragon (Atk 2500 - 3000/Def 0/Dragon/Water/Rank 3/OLU 1 - 0)
Yuma: "This is not good at all.."
Shark: "Go, Leviathan Dragon, and attack Gogogo Golem!"
Leviathan Dragon destroys Gogogo Golem creating an explosion to push back Yuma and fall to the ground also receiving damage in the process.
Yuma Tsukumo LP: 1000 - 800
Yuma: "I just had eight hundred life points left."
Shark: "I'm not done, Drill Barnacle go attack him directly!"
Drill Barnacle hits Yuma and damages his life points.
Yuma Tsukumo LP: 800 - 500
Then Yuma slowly gets up.
Astral: "For your information Gogogo Golem has an effect while in Defense Position he cannot be destroyed by battle once per turn, now you realize why I told you to play him in Defense Position."
Then Astral started to flicker from existence and Astral noticed this.
Astral: "Oh my, it seems my life force is fading."
That got me to widen my eyes at what Astral is saying, then both Astral and I noticed the Leviathan Dragon's Number symbol, then Astral remembered something.
Astral: "I see now I remember the Number cards are pieces of my memories, also they are not like ordinary Xyz monsters, by battle only can be destroyed by other Numbers."
Then Astral looks at Yuma.
Astral: "Also when Number users Duel, the winner absorbs the loser's Number card."
Yuma: "What does that mean anyway?"
Astral: "You must win this Duel or if we lose I will fade from existence."
When I heard what Astral said my eyes widen in disbelief.
Yuto: "Not good..."
Tori notice that I looked worried for some reason.
Tori: "What is it, Yuto?"
Yuto: "If Yuma loses this Duel, Astral will fade from existence."
That got her to gasp with a worried look.
Yuto: "Yuma! You better step up your game and win this Duel, if not I'll kick your after you lose, got it?"
When I said that Yuma began to worry that I kick his ass when he loses this Duel.
Yuma: "I know that, but what to do?"
Then he looks at the card in his hand.
Reginald: "While you're thinking I activate Drill Barnacle's effect if it dealt you damage his Atk will increase by 1000!"
Drill Barnacle (Atk 300 - 1300/Def 0/Aqua/Water/LV 3)
And Reginald is not done yet with his turn.
Reginald: "Also Drill Barnacle can attack you directly, even if you have a monster on your field, so when my turn comes your through..."
Yuma: "This is not good, what can I do?"
Then Yuma noticed his facedown card.
Yuma: "My facedown, what card is it anyway?"
I facepalm again at Yuma because he forgot the facedown card that he set.
Yuto: "I swear Yuma you giving me the bad headache of your stupidity."
Astral: "Bye-Bye Damage, if you have played that card Gogogo Golem won't be destroyed and he will take the damage you have taken, but double."
Yuma: "Well maybe is because I was distracted by your talking."
Yuto facepalms once again at Yuma's stubbornness.
Astral: "You must start listening to my advice to win."
Yuma: "Just leave me alone."
Astral: "I hope the next draw lets you summon more than one monster."
Yuto: "Wait? Did Astral give Yuma a Number card in his Extra Deck?"
Yuma: "What do you mean?"
Astral: "Just Special Summon a monster."
Yuto: "Yuma! You better listen to him for once in your life, please."
Yuma: "Of course, no pressure or anything, after all, mine and Bronk's Deck are on the line, it's my turn, I draw!"
Astral looks at the card that Yuma drew.
Astral: "Monster Reborn, seems fate hasn't left me yet."
Yuma: "I'm the one who drew it, now I summon Gambara Knight in Attack Position!"
Gambara Knight (Atk 0/Def 1800/Warrior/Earth/LV 4)
Yuto: "Yuma, I know you are stubborn, but listen to Astral to win the Duel."
Yuma looks at me with pleased eyes.
Yuma: "But, Yuto..."
Yuto: "No buts, don't forget what's at stake here, right?"
Bronk: "Yuma, why did you play him in Attack Position and his Atk is just zero?"
Yuma realizes it and facepalms.
Yuma: "Aw man..."
Reginald: "So I win, you better give up now."
Yuma glare at Reginald
Yuma: "No way I'm giving up, as long as I'm feeling the flow!"
Astral: "Feeling the flow?"
Yuma: "My Motto, is I never give up and I will find a way to win."
Shark: "There's no way, you can win with a monster with zero Atk?"
That got Yuma a little worried about what Reginald just said right now.
Astral: "Don't worry we needed him in Attack Position, 'cause it will give us a chance to turn things around...perhaps."
Yuma: "Seriously?"
Astral: "Use Monster Reborn to bring back Gagaga Magician."
Yuma looks at Astral with a confused look.
Astral: "No time to argue, trust me on this one please."
Yuto: "Yuma better listen to him 'cause I know what he's up to."
That got his attention along with Tori and Bronk.
Tori: "What do you mean, Yuto?"
Yuto: "Gambara Knight Atk aren't the key in this Duel."
That got them confused until they widen their eyes at what will doing to happen next.
Tori: "You mean?"
I smiled and nodded.
Yuma: " I activate the Spell Card: Monster Reborn to bring back Gagaga Magician from my Graveyard!"
Then a portal appeared and then came out Gagaga Magician in Attack Position.
Gagaga Magician (Atk 1500/Def 1000/Spellcaster/Dark/LV 4)
Reginald: "He's not a threat at all."
Yuma glare at Reginald.
Astral: 'Now the stage is set."
That got Yuma's attention.
Astral: "Now Overlay Gagaga Magician and Gambara Knight."
That got Yuma to widen his eyes at what Astral just saying.
Yuma: "Are you saying what I think you saying?"
Astral: "Look at your Extra Deck, Yuma."
Then Yuma picks a card from his Extra Deck and sees a golden glow card, but it's blurry.
Yuma: "It looks like an Xyz Monster, but I can't see it clearly."
Then I saw a card of the Xyz Monster and the name of it using my D-Gazer and zooming in to see it.
Yuto: "It's Number 39: Utopia..."
Astral looks at me
Astral: "Seems you can read it as well."
I looked at Astral and I nodded at him. Meanwhile, Yuma widens his eyes to hear what I just said and looks at Astral for confirmation.
Yuma: "This is a Number card?"
Astral: "I entrust you with it and use it wisely, Yuma."
Yuma: "I'm feeling the flow! I Overlay my Two Level 4 Gagaga Magician and Gambara Knight!"
The two monsters on Yuma's field turn into energy orbs and went through the sky.
Yuma: "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay network!"
Then a galaxy portal appeared and the two energy orbs went inside and create an explosion. Both Bronk and Tori were shocked meanwhile, I just smiled at Yuma when he performs his first-ever Xyz Summon.
Yuma and Astral: "Rise, Number 39: Utopia!!"
Then suddenly a white armored warrior with golden wings with a red Number 39 on its left shoulder.
Number 39: Utopia (Atk 2500/Def 2000/Warrior/Light/Rank 4/OLU 2)
Everyone is surprised to see another Number card and to see that Yuma just successfully Xyz Summon for the very first time.
Yuma and Astral: "Now Utopia attack Drill Barnacle with Rising Sun Slash!"
Utopia took his sword out and went to attack DrIll Barnacle destroying it, then Reginald has been pushed back a little by Utopia's attack also damaging his life points in the process.
Reginald Kastle LP: 3700 - 2500
Yuma: "How's that!?"
Astral: "It's not over yet, now to introduce Utopia to the Leviathan Dragon."
Both Bronk and Tori were shocked to see Yuma summon an Xyz Monster but to their surprise.
Bronk: "Another Number monster..."
Tori: "I don't remember Yuma having that card?"
Yuto: "That's because it isn't."
They all looked at Yuto.
Yuto: "By the looks of it Astral gave him the Number card so that Yuma gets an edge, but I hope it has a good effect."
Yuma: "Alright with that I end my turn."
Then Yuma starts to shake from excitement from summoning his first-ever Xyz monster and Xyz Summon.
Yuma: "I just Xyz summon for the first time in my life!"
Then he looks at me and his friends and then runs towards them in excitement.
Yuma: "Did you see it? That's the feeling of the flow."
Then I sigh at Yuma and then I just flick his forehead.
Yuma: "What was that for, Yuto?"
Yuto: "May I remind you that Leviathan Dragon is still stronger than Utopia?"
That Yuma realizes it.
Reginald: "It's time to end this Duel, I draw!"
He draws a card.
Reginald: "I activate the Spell Card: Surface, with this card I can Special Summon a Level 3 or lower Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monster in my Graveyard in Defense Position, I bring back Big Jaws!"
Big Jaws (Atk 1800/Def 300/Fish/Water/LV 3)
Reginald: "But he won't be here for long, because I sacrifice to Tribute Summon, Jawsman!"
Big Jaws disappeared and in its place is a big purple monster with multiple shark jaws in some of its body parts.
Jawsman (Atk 2600/Def 1600/Beast-Warrior/Water/LV 6)
Tori: "What's Tribute Summon?"
Yuto: "It's when you sacrifice a monster to bring out a High-Level monster, but depends on the monster's Level to require the sacrifice to summon it."
She nodded in understanding.
Reginald: "Now Jawsman gains 300 Atk for every Water-type monster on my field and I have one monster and its name is Leviathan Dragon."
Jawsman (Atk 2600 - 2900/Def 1600/Beast-Warrior/Water/LV 6)
Reginald: "Now Leviathan Dragon attack Utopia!"
Yuma: "This isn't good."
Astral: "It won't if you activate Utopia's effect to negate its attack by using one of its Overlay Units."
Yuma glare at him
Yuma: "Now you tell me."
Then he looks at Utopia.
Yuma: "I activate Utopia's effect by using one of its Overlay Units it can stop your attack for this turn!"
Then an Overlay Unit went to Utopia's chest and start to glow.
Number 39: Utopia (Atk 2500/Def 2000/Warrior/Light/Rank 4/OLU 2 - 1)
Yuma and Astral: "Light Wing Shield!!"
Leviathan Dragon fired its attack, but Utopia's left wing move forward and form a shield to block the attack.
Shark: "You may stop Leviathan Dragon's attack, but Utopia is not strong enough to beat my monsters and it has one Overlay Unit left, better use it cause Jawsman will attack."
Jawsman goes for the attack on Utopia
Astral: "Use Utopia's effect now."
Yuma didn't listen to Astral but played a Trap card instead.
Yuma: "Maybe, but I activate the Trap Card: Bye-Bye Damage, with this card Utopia is not destroyed in battle this turn."
The Trap activates and starts to glow and then Utopia is covered in light, when Jawsman goes for the hit, Yuma got pushed back.
Yuma Tsukumo LP: 500 - 100
Yuma: "Also the damage I took will be dealt with by you as well, but it is doubled."
That got Reginald surprised at this.
Reginald Kastle LP: 2500 - 1700
Reginald: "That's a bad move Yuma, now I activate the Continues Trap: Booming Urchin! Since you activate a Trap card when my turn comes again in my Standby Phase you take one thousand points of damage."
Then some urchin bombs appeared on Yuma's field.
Reginald: "It's over Yuma, you lose."
Both Bronk and Tori began to doubt.
Bronk: "This not good."
Tori: "Yuma..."
Then she felt a hand on her shoulder looks to see Yuto smiling.
Yuto: "Don't lose hope yet, if I know he got this."
She smile a little and nodded with a small blush on her cheeks.
Reginald: "Give up, Yuma."
Yuma: "No way I'm giving up, 'cause I'm feeling the flow!"
Then Yuma did a couple of backflips and prepare to make a run.
Yuma: "Prepare Shark to feel the sting of defeat, I draw!"
Then Yuma jumps to draw a card but he fell on his back. I facepalm on Yuma that he fell on his back, then Yuma gets up and looks at the card he grew and grins.
I looked at Yuma that one card that he drew is the one that will win this Duel.
Yuto: "No way, he drew that card to win the game?!"
Then I smile at Yuma.
Yuma: "Now Utopia attack Leviathan Dragon!"
When Yuma said that Astral began to worry about what Yuma is doing.
Astral: "Are you crazy, Utopia doesn't have enough Atk than Leviathan Dragon!?"
Both Tori and Bronk got more worried, but I just smiled at Yuma, because I know what will Yuma is going to do. Then I see that Utopia went for an attack on Leviathan Dragon.
Yuma: "I activate Utopia's effect to stop his attack!"
Number 39: Utopia (Atk 2500/Def 2000/Warrior/Light/Rank 4/OLU 1 - 0)
The last Overlay Unit went to Utopia's chest to make Utopia stops its attack on Leviathan Dragon.
Reginald: "You're a fool! Why did you stop your attack?"
Yuma: "Because I play the Quick-Play Spell Card: Double or Nothing!"
He shows the card and starts to glow which got Reginald surprised.
Reginald: "A Quick-Play Spell Card!?"
Yuma: "With this card when a monster's attack is negated, then its Atk doubles and gets an extra attack!"
Then I see that Utopia's aura increases raising its Atk and drawing two swords from its waist ready to slash Leviathan Dragon.
Number 39: Utopia (Atk 2500 - 5000/Def 2000/Warrior/Light/Rank 4/OLU 0)
Everyone was shocked that Utopia's Atk is double that amount and higher Atk than Leviathan Dragon's.
Shark: "Five thousand Atk..."
Yuma: "GoUtopia end this with Rising Sun Double Slash!"
Utopia went for the attack and slash the Leviathan Dragon resulting in a big explosion, then Reginald got pushed back by the explosion also reducing its life points to zero.
Reginald Kastle LP: 1700 - 0
Winner: Yuma Tsukumo
Then the Duels were over and both monsters disappeared also the AR Vision as well. Yuma, Tori, and Bronk were shocked, but I was happy for Yuma that he won his first-ever Duel in ages.
Yuma: "Did I win...?"
Bronk: "Did he...?"
Tori: "He did...."
Yuto: "Yes, yes he did."
Then Yuma, Tori, and Bronk were celebrating and I looked at Reginald's companion to see that they left him which made me mad.
Yuto: "What unfateful friends..."
After that, I see that Astral extends his right arm aiming at Reginald, then Astral and I saw a glowing card coming out of Reginald's body and it went towards Astral's hand
Then I noticed that the Number symbol on Reginald's right hand disappeared meaning that the Number card is gone as well.
Yuto: "At least Reginald doesn't get influenced by the Number card."
Astral: "I was correct this Number contains my memories but only small pieces of it, to regain my memories I must collect all ninety-nine Number cards."
Yuto: "Don't worry, Astral. You can count me in to help you out."
Astral looked at me and nodded.
Astral: "Thank you, Yuto."
With that, I see Reginald walk toward Yuma and then he gives back Bronk's Deck.
Reginald: "We made a deal."
Then Yuma takes Bronk's Deck from Reginald
Yuma: "Thank you for keeping your word."
Reginald began to turn around.
Reginald: "I will remember this, see you around."
Then Reginald starts to walk away from us, but he could leave.
Yuma: "Wait, Shark! Let's Duel again sometime and this time no betting Decks, let's do it for fun."
I see that Reginald stopped for a moment and no one noticed, but I notice a small smile on Reginald's face.
Reginald: "Maybe, see you later."
He said which make me happy that he was still there the old Reginald.
Yuto: "Seems the Reginald I knew is still in there somewhere."
Then Astral looks at Yuma.
Astral: "You knew about that card and took the risk."
Yuma: "Yep and I wanted to see the look on your face which worked."
Astral: "I believe this is a start of a beautiful friendship if you do as I say."
He said which got Yuma super annoyed at Astral.
Yuma: "Not a chance!"
They got me to sigh and amusingly shake my head.
Yuto: "Come on It's getting late, let's go home."
They all nodded, then we headed straight home and I walk with Tori who is blushing a lot going to her home before I headed back home while Yuma went ahead and get some sleep
Unknown to all of them my Deck box glows gold within it and inside the Deck box through all of my cards, there is a golden glow of a card and it began to materialize into a blank Xyz Monster card, but one part of the card is clear to see as...Number 60 and Number 96.
