"Obi no matter what you are not to address my sister formally do you understand me?" Master ask's sternly "uh? yes sir" I nod confused walking down the hall with him kiki and Mitsuhdeay to meet zen's sister "so what's your sister like master?" I ask "she's a handful" Mitsuhdeay chuckles "trouble maker" kiki adds "but the best dame sister I could ask for" zen grins "she sounds like fun not like a princess at all" I laugh as the 4 of us wait outside at the gates for the princess to arrive "she's been away from the castle for about 5 years now I'm glad that she's finally returning even if it's only for a little while" master says "is she really only going to stay for the coronation?" Mitsuhdeay ask's "yes after she receives her crown she's going back to lilias to live with our mother" Master says and in the corner of my eye I spot a (hair color) haired girl with (eye color) eye's sneaking over the castle wall "master do you mind if I step away for a minute?" I ask "be quick Obi my sister should be here soon I want you to meet her" master says "ill be quick promise" I nod before running over to the girl climbing over the castle wall "missy what cha doing up there?" I ask spooking the girl and she starts to fall I get ready to catch her but to my astonishment she does a back flip mid air and manages to land on her feet with a grin "you really know how to sneak up on a girl aye?" She ask's smiling "uh- yeah I guess who exactly are you?" I ask "I'm not a trespasser if your wondering" she says holding up her identification "ah well you probably shouldn't climb over the castle wall like that someone'll think your braking in" I say "like you did?" She laughs "yeah" I nod scratching the back of my head "any way gotta run I'm supposed to be meeting the princess" I say starting to walk back over to the master but she follows "mind if I tag along? I know the princess very well" the girl says "um I don't really think your supposed to but-" "(U)!!!" Master shouts eye's gleaming as he sees the girl following behind me my eyes widen as I spin around "your the princess!?!" I shout "yup!" (u) giggles

"(u) I missed you so much!!" Zen says bear hugging me and I laugh "yeah yeah I missed you too zen" I smile as he releases me "(u)" Mitsuhdeay bows his head "c'mon Mitsuhdeay! Don't be so stiff" I grin tackling Mitsuhdeay putting him in a head lock giving him a nogie and Obi bursts out laughing "pfff! Haha Mitsuhdeay getting a nogie from the princess this is priceless" obi laughs as I release Mitsuhdeay "oh yeah? This is entertaining?" I ask amused as Obi continues to laugh and i lunge at him trying to put him in a head lock but in a split second I find that he's already restrained me with my hands behind my back "Ah ah you won't get the upper hand on me princess" Obi smirks leaving me a bit stunned I haven't met many people with a higher skill level than me I smile "I'd love to spar with you sometime Obi" I say "agreed" Obi chuckles nodding his head as he lets me go "well (u) I suppose we should head back inside we can talk more in my office" zen says "sure sounds good" I nod following zen back into the castle "not many things have changed" I say out loud looking around my child hood home and then I spot izana walking in out direction I try to pay no attention to him as we walk by but I make eye contact "(u)" izana calls I freeze "it's been a while lord brother" I say "I'd hoped some time away from the castle would knock some sence into you but I suppose not I was just informed not a long while ago that a (hair color) haired intruder climbed over the castle wall" izana says "what can I say some people just never change" I say "*sigh* please behave your self to some extent (u) and zen remember what we talked about i want that to be issued by tonight" izana says walking down the hall "blah blah blah what a stick in the mud" I grumble "any way zen what was he talking about?" I ask "we can discuss it later (u)" zen reasures me but the uneasy looks kiki and Mitsuhdeay are giving don't make me any more confident

Once everyone enters masters office the vide looming in the air is a heavy nervousness "Mitsuhdeay kiki if you like and I highly suggest you may step outside" zen sighs Mitsuhdeay and kiki both nod "we wish you luck zen" Mitsuhdeay says "rest in peace" kiki nods as zen's face drops into utter despair as Mitsuhdeay and kiki leave "guys???? Your seriously leaving me????" Zen whines "Well we sure don't want to get dragged down with you zen well pay our respects at your funeral" Mitsuhdeay says closing the door to master's office leaving me him and (u) "umm hay I'm just gonna go" I say trying to side step my way to the door "ah ah take one more step Obi I dare you" master warns I freeze and sigh walking back over to master "zen what's this all about?" (u) ask's rather annoyed "well... you see (u) as you know your being crowned as a queen so.... Well... youhavetohaveagurd!" Master shouts quickly shutting his eyes hiding underneath his desk (u) doesn't say a word she doesn't move or take a breath for some time "zen" (u) calls in a threateningly calm voice sending chills down my spine "y-yes (u)?" Zen ask's poking his head out from underneath his desk (u) smiles sweetly too sweetly "I'm going to go out side if you follow me-... Don't expect me to go easy on you" (u) glares 'she's even scarier than the master who ever her guard is better not get on her bad side' I think gulping as (u) walks to the door slamming it open storming down the hall "I'm surprised your still intact zen" Mitsuhdeay says entering masters office with Kiki "that went rather smoothly" kiki nods "s-smoothly!?!" I shout "yes she took the news rather well" zen sighs "What do you mean?? If looks could kill you'd be 6 feet underground master" I say the room fills with silence for a second "Obi your going to be (u)s gaurd" master says "wait you can't be serious? please reconsider master I'm not cut out to-" "Obi your the only person I could ever allow myself to let gaurd (u)" zen says I look at him in confusion "if that's what you wish master" I nod "I'll do my best"

"So you drew the short straw huh Obi?" I question when I sence someone walking up behind me "ah- you knew I was here?" Obi ask's I nod "I wanna set some rules from the start alright Obi?" I say "that sounds like a good idea" Obi nods sitting down infront of me as iv sat under a tree in a small patch of woods in the castle grounds "I have a few personal rules id like to put into play if you have any suggestions then we can address them as well" I say "alright" Obi nods "rule number 1 I don't wanna be treated like royalty no formalities no your highness or your majesty unless it'd be considered inappropriate rule number two I have a tendency to sneak out of the castle you can come as long as you don't tell anyone" I say Obi nods "right then my last rule, Rule number three it's less of a rule more of a precaution I doubt it'll happen but every now and then somthing might happen and I'll ask you to leave me for a minute please respect that" I say "it's very unlikely tho so you don't need to worry about it" I reassure "sounds fair I do have one rule of my own tho" Obi says "witch is?" I question "My job is to guard you so if anything were to happen I need to be able to know that your not in danger if there's ever a fight or something going on risking your safety I need you to do what I say alright? Not that your a bad fighter it's just that master would probably kill me if I let you even get a scratch" Obi chuckles scratching the back of his neck I laugh a bit "alright then if those 4 rules are followed I think we'll get along just dandy!" I grin "agreed" Obi nods

after me and (u) head back inside of the castle I get an idea "hay you haven't met the miss yet have you?" I ask "the miss?" (u) questions tilting her head "ah sorry I mean Shiriuki" I say "oh! No I haven't but iv hurd a bunch about her from zen tho" (u) says "well perfect we're not too far from the medical wing I'll introduce you to her" I suggest "I'd love that!" (u) smiles and I take her to the medical wing I look around the building and spot little ryu "hay Ryu do you know where-" "RYU!!!" (u) beams tackling the little kid into a hug he smiles as brightly as iv ever seen "(u) I- your here??" Ryu ask's shocked "yeah I am I'v come back to the castle to revive my crown and have a coronation" (u) smiles letting go of Ryu "I should get back to work" Ryu says trying to contain his happiness but it's pretty obvious seeing his huge smile "hmm! Well I'll see ya later bud" (u) waves and then I spot the miss walking down the hall in our direction "miss! I'd like to introduce you to someone (u) this is Shiriuki Shiriuki this is (u) masters sister" I say the misses face turns red "ah! Th-this is so unexpected um hello I'm so happy to finally be meeting you zen's told me so much about you" the miss says and (u) smiles "zen's told me quite a bit about you too little red it's grate to meet you I'd love to chat but I'm sure your busy maybe we could hang out some time" (u) suggests "I'd love that!"

"We'll (u) if I have your permission I'll be heading to my room for the night" Obi says as we'v stood outside of my room "of corse go get some sleep thanks for taking me around the castle today Obi it was very fun pulling tricks on old Lord Haruka" I laugh Obi chuckles "yeah that hilarious iv never laughed so much in my life any way I had fun too I'll see you tomorrow morning (u) Good night" Obi says before walking down the hall disappearing around a corner and I walk into my room locking the door plopping down into bed the frimilyar room brings bittersweet memories 'it's been so long' I think lying on my back looking up at the ceiling memories flash threw my mind some joy filled ones and some tear filled ones I sigh sitting up getting out of bed heading out onto the balcony to get some fresh air 'I really do hate this place' I think looking around without even realizing a single tear falls down my cheek I smile wiping my eyes 'just a little while longer' I think 'just a little while'

After getting ready for the day I walk to (u)'s room and knock a few times the door opens to reveal (u) bright eye'd and bushy tailed "Your an early riser eh?" I question with a laugh as (u) skips out of her room "yup! Cuz I have a special request Obi!" (u) grins "oh? And what's that?" I ask with an amused smile "I'll show you!" (u) grins even wider grabbing my hand dragging me to the horse stables "shh stay quite" (u) tells me as we'v hidden in an empty horse stall the horse keeper walks past us going outside after (u) throws a rock out there distracting him "c'mon" (u) says ushering me to hurry I get onto a horse as the horse keeper is still outside but before (u) can mount a horse the keeper comes running back into the building towards us "Child! You can't run off like when you were younger!!" The keeper shouts walking towards (u) as she tries getting onto a horse "sorry (u) time to split" I say grabbing (u)'s arm pulling her onto my horse sitting her infront of me as the keener panics and I quickly I flick the horses rains and it dashes out of the stall (u) giggles as the horse keeper shouts after us "sorry Mr!!!" (u) yells I chuckle shaking my head "c'mon where you wanna go?" I ask "the woods"

After ridding for some time I jump off the horse after coming to a stop and I admire the forest in aww spinning around looking at the beautiful scenery as Obi ties the horse to a tree "you like the woods too huh?" Obi question I nod smiling a closed eyed smile turning to face him he grins "you know how to climb princess?" Obi ask's "yeah I of corse I know how to- hay!!! Don't call me that!!!" I shout running after Obi he laughs jumping into a tree and I follow "catch me if you can princess!" Obi teases "get back here!!!"

"Got cha!!" (u) giggles tackling me to the ground I laugh lying in the grass of a meadow we'v wound up in once (u) rolls off of me we both look up to the sky "I'm glad your the one who got assigned to gaurd me Obi" (u) says "I am too" I smile "you know... after I receive my crown I'm going back to lilias you could come with me" (u) says eagerly I think for a moment "I... I'd love to... truly... It's just that I owe your brother so much I feel like I need to repay him" I say ".... I understand" (u) says sitting up "this is your home I get it if you ever do leave tho I'll always be open to visits" (u) smiles "I'm glad I'd love to see you agin" I say sitting up "any way when is the ceremony?" I ask "in three days" (u) says "well then should we get going back to the castle?"

As me and Obi sneak back into the castle we head to my room first but I find a note outside my door "what's that?" Obi ask's "from zen maybe?" I suggest as I pick the letter up but it has my big brothers personal seal my eyes widen "crap" I curse under my breath "what is it? Is something wrong?" Obi ask's looking over my shoulder as I read the letter "my brother wants to see us" I say "what's so bad about seeing master?" Obi questions in confusion "not zen izana wants to see us" I say "oh..." Obi says I sigh and start to walk down the hall to my unavoidable doom as Obi follows me to my brothers office and I stop outside of the door turning to look Obi in the eye "this won't be good" I tell Obi he nods "i should call you by your tittle?" Obi ask's "yes" I nod turning before entering izanas office izana looks up at me then at Obi "ah (u) come come" izana says me and Obi step forward letting the door close behind us "I was infromed thay you both snuck out of the castle this morning are you just now getting back?" Izana ask's "that's right" I nod izana sighs shaking his head in disapproval "(u) do you know how reckless that was? And only a few days before the ceremony what were you thinking?! And you your ment to gaurd her not help her sneak out of the castle I'm having a different gaurd take your place please relay that message to-" "izana I swear it wasn't his fault!! Please please don't change my gaurd I promise if you dont I won't run away agin!" I say panicked "Your really so adamant about this?" Izana questions I nod "if you keep on your best behavior I won't change anything but one wrong move and I'll have him kicked out of the castle" izana says my eyes widen I look back at Obi for an answer he nods "alright then you may leave" izana says

as soon as me and (u) step out of izana office she grabs my arm dragging me down the hall "what the hell!?" (u) snaps glaring at the floor my eyes widen "i don't understand" I say "why'd you agree to that!?" (u) shouts "you said your self your glad I was assigned as your gaurd" I say and (u) looks up from the floor with glossy eye's "I know what I said!! But you just put your job on the line Obi! are you stupid or something!? You could get fired!! and You haven't gotten the chance to repay zen yet!!!" (u) says teary eye'd I smile a bit seeing that she's concerned about me "don't worry about it (u) it'll be fine" I say patting (u)'s head she sniffles a bit looking at the floor before she wipes her eyes "your crazy" (u) laughs a bit "I know"

"I hate this" I say as me and Obi walk down the hall so that I can get a dress fitted for the ceremony happening in two days "does it have to be blue?" Obi ask's "unfortunately" I nod "it's our country's color it would be 'disgraceful' if I wore any other color" I sigh "at least it's not pink am I right?" Obi chuckles I don't laugh "it's not that I don't like blue it's that I don't like dresses!" I whine "well if it makes you feel any better after you get your dress made we can go visit the miss" Obi tells me "really?" I ask "yeah I talked with the master about it this morning apparently she has off today so you two girls can talk" Obi informs me "terrific!" I smile "yeah ah- uh?? bye now (u)? I'll see you?" obi waves sweat dropping as two maids drag me away locking me in a room with them starting to throw cloth at me pinning it on me and hours later we're finally putting on the finishing touches "witch do you like better princess the white or the beige?" A maid asks "obviously the beige!" A maid shouts "no white suits her much better!" One argues I look around in room in a daze really not caring but my eye catches when I spot a gold peace of cloth the exact same Shade of Obi's eyes "gold" I say both the maids look at me puzzled I point to the gold piece of cloth discarded on the floor one of the maids picks it up and places it on my shoulder as a sleeve both maids eyes light up "its perfect!! I knew gold was the best color!!" The one maid cheers "no I suggested gold!!" The other argues "can we just finish the dress please?"

finally (u) walks out of the room with a sigh and I chuckle "so what's the dress look like?" I ask "form fitted with gold sleeves" (u) tells me as we walk down the hall "so you ready to visit the miss?" I ask "huh? Oh!! Right I almost forgot! Yes very exited! Let's go!" (u) beams running out of the castle I follow behind her we race to the medical wing and she wins only cuz she got a head start tho "hay miss you hear?" I ask entering the building with (u) "coming!" The miss says before walking up to us with a smile (u) grins clasping the misses hands "c'mon little red let's chat!!" (u) says dragging the miss outside I follow leisurely behind making my self comfortable in a tree while (u) and the miss talk bellow

"So little red it's official right? I haven't gotten a strait answer from zen yet but your dating right?!?" I ask with glistening eye's Shiriuki's face turns red "ah w-well! y-yeah I guess it's official" Shiriuki blushes I smile hugging her tightly "I'm so happy my brother found someone as grate as you" I tell her before pulling out of the hug she smiles earnestly "I'm very thankful for your brother he's the best thing to ever happen to me I really do love him" Shiriuki says I can't help but smile with teary eyes "I'm so glad to hear he's finally found love so happy"

"Good night princess" I smile teasingly (u) laughs "night prince" she jokes as I walk to my room I can't help but feel a little lonely leaving her side 'she's only been here for a few days but I can't imagine being at this castle with out her' I think as I enter my room I sit outside on the balcony looking up at the stars 'I wonder if she leaves... I may not be able to stay here at the castle with her absence lingering' I think with a sigh 'what a pickle iv gotten my self into this time'
The next morning

"(u) all the preparations for the ceremony are ready for tomorrow are you?" Zen ask's "I guess" I shrug zen sighs "I guess that's probably what I should've expected I know you'll do grate (u) I saw the dress too you'll look beautiful wearing the crown" zen smiles "oh c'mon I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one who hasn't seen the dress" Obi complains "you'll see it tomorrow" I laugh "tomorrow's so far away tho" Obi pouts I giggle a bit at his childishness "(u) there's also some bad news" zen says I look at him confused "what?" I ask "well... I know that you don't like to but... there's a dance after the ceremony please don't kill me!" Zen says keeping his eyes tightly shut kiki inconspicuously "hides" behind Mitsuhdeay while he sweat drops "you'v gotta be kidding me" I say zen shakes his head "I'm not" he says I sigh "grate and how the hell im I supposed to dance in that dress?" I ask "kiki any pointers?" Zen questions "don't wear a dress" kiki says "yeah that helps thanks" I grown "well if you get stuck on the dance floor I could always step in" Obi suggests "really!?" I ask hopefully "sure" Obi nods "thank you!!! Your the best!!" I grin tackling Obi Obi a hug almost making him topple over he just chuckles before I pull away "well I think we're gonna get going" i wave to zen exiting his office "so what do you wanna do on your last free day before the coronation?" Obi ask's "I would play in the forest but we can't sneak out so I think the second best option is to spend the day in the small patch of woods inside of the castle wall" I suggest Obi nods "sounds like a plan"

"Hay princess" I call "why do you insist on calling me that Obi?" (u) ask's with an annoyed sigh I laugh "cuz it bugs you" I tease "you little-" "hay! I have an idea let's play a game of tag your it!" I grin jumping from tree to tree running away from (u) as she chases after me "no fair Your too fast!!" (u) shouts trying to jump threw the tree's faster "be carful princess I don't need you getting scratched up before the big day your brother would kill me" I laugh "yeah I bet he would you better not let me fall then" (u) jokes as we run threw the tree tops

"It's starting to get dark princess wanna give up this game of tag?" Obi ask's "never!!" I grin jumping to another tree branch "I'll catch up to you eventually Obi! You can't run for ever!!" I shout "neither can you princess" Obi replies he's only a few tree's ahead of me now yet I can't catch up to him in an attempt to catch up to him instead of jumping to the next tree I grab onto a vine swinging myself to Obi but just as I'm about to catch up to him the vine snaps "Obi!" I scream starting to fall I quickly close my eyes expecting to hit the ground as adrenaline pumps threw my body memories play threw my mind of my prior near death experience hit after hit kicks to the stomach pulling my hair striking my face I feel my eyes start to water as the image of the knife being pulled floods threw my imagination those same words i thought back then resurfacing 'I'm gonna die'

before (u) can hit the ground I grab her arm as iv caught myself and her on a low hanging tree branch after falling almost 12 feet "(u) what were you thinking!?!" I shout and (u) opens her eyes looking up at me with tear filled (eye color) eye's a bit shocked with out realizing it I loosen my grip and (u) falls the last 2 feet landing on the ground "(u) I'm sorry are you ok? What's the matter? Please-" "J-just give me a minute Obi please leave f-for a little bit I'm sorry" (u) says holding back tears I don't know what to do or say I simply walk away with gilt 'was I the reason she was crying?' I wonder walking back into the castle as I do I see masters office light still on I decide to go talk to him I walk down the hall knocking before stepping inside "what's the matter Obi?" Zen ask's

"Master I can't gaurd (u) any longer" Obi says "why not? Did something happen?" I ask concerned "I feel that I may have offended or hurt (u) I don't know what exactly I did tho" Obi says I sigh "there's something I should have told you Obi I apologize for not saying anything sooner" I say and Obi listens intently "you need to understand one thing Obi (u) has a very strong hatred towards this castle and for very good reason (u) wasn't very old when it happened maybe 15 I wasn't told at the time because I was too young to understand but the man the was assigned to be (u)'s gaurd when she was younger assaulted her" I say grimacing remembering the image of my sister sobbing in my room and Obi's eyes widen "assaulted???" Obi ask's clenching his fists I nod "after she refused to exept the man's marriage proposal he attacked her we learned later on that he only agreed to become (u)'s gaurd in hopes of marrying her to get money out of the hole ordeal but when she said no hell broke lose she took a pretty good beating the man even went as far as to pull a knife out on (u) before other soldiers intervened and arrested the man she still has a few scars from the incident they remind her of just how cruel people can be and because of that she has a lack of trust in people she trained her self so that she wouldn't have to risk relying on other people" I explain Obi stands in shock starting at me the look in his eyes showing a deep compassionate sadness "that's why I assigned you to be her guard Obi your not like most people your not here at the castle for money and more than anyone your the only person who I could bring myself to let gaurd (u) sure Mitsuhdeay's a grate guy but (u) needs someone who can make her feel free she doesn't like being tied down and seeing how happy she is around you Obi I know I made the right decision... but" I say pausing "if you still don't want to continue to guard (u) I won't make you I'll assign a different gurd to the job" I say and Obi stays frozen for a second lost in thought before he darts to the door "o-obi?!" I shout after him "I need to find (u)!" Obi yells running out of my office leaving me a bit shocked but once he's disappeared I smile "your the only one Obi"

I sprint to (u)'s room with out even knocking I enter the door to find (u) holding her knees to her chest as she shakes she looks up at me suprised as tears roll down her cheeks I can't help but feel terrible for what happened to her "I'm so sorry" I say hugging (u) she doesn't move "what do-" "I'm so sorry that happened I'm sorry you'v seen how cruel this world can be I'm sorry your still haunted by it I truly am" I say holding (u) tightly she hugs me back clinging to me as she sobs into my chest "I promise tho the world isn't as bad as all that tho (u) I can show you how wonderful life can be" I hush stroking (u)'s hair as she continues to cry "your scars just prove how strong you are you should be proud" I say and (u) stops crying wiping her tears as she sniffles I let her go assuming that she wants some space but she doesn't move "thank you Obi"

After getting changed into my dress I look in the mirror at the scar just bearly poking out of the back of my dress I hear a knock at the door and give permission to enter "you look stunning" Obi smiles "you don't look bad your self" i say seeing Obi for the first time wearing formal clothing "really? I think this get up makes me look kinda stiff" Obi says pulling at the caller of his shirt "doesn't it everyone" I laugh walking over to Obi he offers his arm "princess" Obi smiles teasingly I roll my eyes taking his arm we both walk down the hall to the big hall I'm supposed to receive my crown in I take a deep breath and look over at Obi "you'd better not chicken out and leave" I say Obi laughs "maybe I will maybe I won't" he shrugs letting go of my arm I smile shaking my head "her majesty princess (u)!!" An announcer calls as the door infront of me and Obi opens we both walk out I walk towards izana while Obi stays a few feet back "(u)" izana says "if iv come off as mean I haven't ment to I just don't want you getting hurt agin" izana says "I know" I sigh then glance back at Obi over my shoulder "but izana... he'd never" I smile and izana smiles too "my you've grown so much you don't know how happy I am right now" Izans say's holding up the crown "do you (u) pledge your name to this country and the people in it?" Izana ask's loudly and the crowd falls silent "on my name (u) whistarya" I nod "then I grant you your crown" izana says placing the tiara on my head the crowd erupting into applause and izana steps back leaving me in center stage but even with the hole crowd cheering all I can hear is Obi whisper "you did grate"

"Whoa! There were so many people!" (u) says once me and her step into the hall way "and you'll be dancing with all of them" I grin and (u)'s face turns pale "I forgot about that..." (u) sighs "c'mon we should get going I'm sure everyone's waiting for you" I say starting to walk down the hall with (u) "Obi" she calls "hmm?" I hum "do you know how to dance?" (u) ask's "we'll yeah I do" I nod "grate" (u) smiles before the doors to the ball room open revealing a ton of people gathered around the empty dance floor "arnt they supposed to be dancing?" I ask in a whisper as the crowd watches (u) in silence "it's tradition that no one can dance until the newly crowned takes there first dance" (u) smiles "so would you grant me the honor of the first dance of the night Obi?" (u) ask's offering me her hand i star at her in shock for a few moments "a-arnt you supposed to dance with someone with a higher social status?" I ask "traditionally yes but have you known me to follow the rules?" (u) ask's with a smirk and I laugh "well then princess it would be my pleasure to dance with you"
