Y/n' pov
A week later, we are in JYPnation's concert in Japan. The line up was just like the concert in Seoul. This time, the song that I performed with Sana was in Japanese.
We just finished the encore stage. I was waving at the fans smiling while the others were leaving the stage. Ryujin and Chaeryeong walked towards me while I wasn't looking. I turned around and got startled.
"You scared me" I said while I had the microphone away from my mouth
"Not our fault that you are a scaredy-cat " Chaeryeong shrugged
Ryujin laughed
"Come on we are the only ones on stage" Ryujin pushed me lightly towards the backstage
"No need to push me" I said as I jogged to the backstage
"Ah here you are" Jiwoo said as soon as he saw me
"Ne. I was waving at the fans" I smiled
"I don't think that he noticed that we were leaving the stage" Chaeryeong commented
"You are lucky that we decided to be good to you" Ryujin said
"Eh? You decided that because you are hungry" I looked at them
"... guilty" they nodded
"Okay let's get ready and head to the restaurant you chose." Hyunwoo said
Everyone went in their dressing rooms to get ready.
"Hyung who is coming with us?" Minjun asked me
"Just ITZY" I replied
We met with them outside and I gave them the restaurant's address. We headed there and I had already made a reservation.
We sat down in a private room and looked at the menu.
"...Y/n maybe you just should choose what we'll get" Yeji suggested
"Ah? Okay noona. I got it." I smiled
I made the order and while we were waiting, we started talking.
"So how's 'Hello baby'?" Yuna asked
"It's good. It keeps us occupied." Cheng answered
"That's definitely good for Y/n" Ryujin commented
"It's not enough. I'm pretty bored because all of you are busy" I sighed
"Oh mianhae" Lia put her hand on my back
"Ani ani noona. I'm just being silly." I smiled at her and she giggled
"How was it to be in a show with Pd-nim?" Yeji asked
"Well... it was... interesting. I saw how the cast was teasing him but I didn't know if it's okay to laugh or not." I explained
"At the end you laughed tho. I still have that meme of yours on my phone" Jeong said
"Huh? Which one" I looked at him
"The one you are on the floor because of too much laughing" he explained
Our food arrived and we started eating. After we ate, we went back to talking.
"Oh? This is a great cover of 'Icy'." Minjun suddenly said
"Huh? What?" we all looked at him
"Look at this" he showed us his phone
"Oh? They went out in public wearing onesies?" Cheng was surprised
"Ah we did a dance practice of this song wearing onesies" Lia said
"Ne but you looked cuter than these girls noona" I said while focusing on the video
"Huh? All of a sudden?" Lia blushed
My eyes widen and I blushed as I realised what I said.
"Em...I mean all of you. You all looked cuter. But hey look at them, they are good and they are even lip syncing" I tried to avert her attention
"Oh ne you are right" she nodded
The rest laughed at our reactions. Just then Yeji's and Jiwoo's phones rang. They answered while we were looking at the video.
"Oh? We need to get going. We have an early flight" Yeji said
"We need to go as well." Jiwoo informed us
"Okay. Let's pay then" Hyunwoo said
Lia grabbed my hands to stop me from taking out my card. I looked at her.
"You are always paying." she said
"I want to treat you. We are in my home country." I smiled at her
"Ani" everyone said
"Come on. Just today. Pleaseee" I acted a bit cute
"Stop acting cute!" Chaeryeong and Ryujin glared at me
"Let me pay." I looked at them
"Ani" Lia shook her head
"Please noona" I grabbed her hand
"Huh? Wha- okay do whatever you want" she gave up
I smiled and paid. We all got ready and headed to our hotel.
"Goodnight" ITZY said as they got out of the elevator
"Goodnight" we waved at them
I soon arrived at my bedroom. I was sharing a bedroom with Cheng and Minjun.
"I'm so tired. I'll go straight to sleep" I said as I got changed
"Me too" Cheng nodded
"Huh? Already?" Minjun said
We turned and looked at him.
"What do you mean already? It's 4am" Cheng said
"Jinjja? It's 4am already?" Minjun was surprised
"Ne and our flight is at 7am. So go to sleep" I fell on the bed
"Goodnight" I added
"Goodnight" they said
I fell asleep instantly.
Time skip when we arrived in Korea
We arrived in the airport with the same flight as TWICE. I was walking next to Sana. A big crowd was around us.
"...wow" I said quietly
"You didn't expect so many people?" Sana looked at me
"It's not that. It's just that... I've never been in this situation. I was sure that since we had the same flight there would be a lot of people here" I explained
"You'll get used to it" she squeezed my hand and I smiled
We arrived at the cars and said goodbye before we part ways. My group headed to the dorm.
"I'm going to sleep. Don't bother me" I said as soon as we walked in the dorm
"That's unfair. Wae can't I sleep too?" Hyunwoo asked
"Because you have to shoot a scene" Jeong smirked
"I'll sleep too" Cheng said
"Have fun working" I waved as I walked in my room
As soon as I changed I fell on the bed and slept for 3 hours. I was woken up by my phone. I grabbed it and answered the call.
"Y/n"
"Caller"
"Annyeonghaseyo Y/n"
"Annyeonghaseyo noona" I sat up
"Were you sleeping?"
"Ne." I said shyly as I stretched
"Ah mianhae"
"Ani ani. It's good that I woke up. Anyway, wae did you call?"
"Are you interested in hanging out with us?"
"Us? Like all of you?"
"Well, we might meet the others later but for now it'll be just Sunny and I." Hyoyeon informed me
"Ah okay. I'll be glad to hang out with you."
"Perfect. Can you come by SM building?"
"Ne. Just give me half an hour to get ready."
"Okay. See you later"
As soon as the call ended I got in the shower and then got dressed. When I walked out of my room, I noticed that no one is here. I called manager hyung and he took me to SM.
"Remember, behave" he said as the car stopped
"Wae everyone say that? Do you think that I do not behave? I'm an angel"
"Okay Mr. Angel." he said and I rolled my eyes
"See you later hyung" I got out of the car and headed inside
I texted Hyoyeon that I arrived and waited at the lobby.
"Oh? Y/n annyeonghaseyo" Taemin walked up to me
EXO's Kai was with him.
"Annyeonghaseyo" Kai greeted me politely
"Annyeonghaseyo sunbaenims" I bowed to them
"You two haven't met, have you?" Taemin pointed out
"Ani" we both shook our heads
"But I have seen his performances." Kai said
"Oh? Jinjja?" I looked at him
"Ne. You are the main dancer of your group right?" he asked
"Ne sunbaenim." I nodded
"You are doing well. Wae are you here? Are LIGHT going to collaborate with an SM artist?" he asked
"Ah ani. I'm not here with my group. Hyoyeon sunbaenim called me to hang out" I explained
"Oh? You have quite the friendship list don't you?" Taemin said and I giggled
"I'm a very friendly person" I nodded
"You know I'm really interested in seeing you dance up close." Kai told me
"Jinjja?" I was surprised
He nodded
"Ah the thing is that I don't think that I'll be able to perform then" I laughed embarrassed and they laughed along
"Y/n wae didn't you come upstairs?" Hyoyeon came
"Ah noona, you never told me where to come" I looked at her
"Is that your excuse?" she rolled her eyes
"Annyeonghaseyo" Kai and Taemin greeted her
"Annyeonghaseyo. Wae are you holding him up? We are hungry" she said
"Oh mianhae" they bowed
"Huh? You are hungry and you called me? I don't talk when I eat, you know it"
After SNSD appearance on 'Hello baby', I kept in touch with all the members. Hyoyeon knows me better because we had already met.
"I know but we'll do other things as well" she said
"Araseo." I nodded
"We'll get going now. It was good to see you again Y/n" Taemin patted my shoulder
"Take care sunbaenims" I smiled
"Bye" they waved as they walked away
"Let's eat in the cafeteria. Sunny is already waiting." Hyoyeon said
I followed her in the cafeteria. We took our food and sat down with Sunny.
"Annyeonghaseyo noona" I gave her a quick hug
"Annyeonghaseyo" she smiled as she hugged me back
"So how's going?" she asked me before I start eating
"Good. We just came back from Japan" I answered
"Ah? JYPnation's concert was yesterday?" Hyoyeon asked
"Ne. I had fun" I smiled
"Okay let's eat and you'll tell us all about it." Sunny said
Time skip 5 minutes later
"You ate quickly" Hyoyeon said as I finished my food
"I felt bad" I said shyly
"Wae?" Sunny looked at me
"You are not talking because I don't like to talk while eating" I explained
"Ah we just felt like it. Don't feel bad" she smiled at me
"Don't worry, we could be talking without you but we just decided to enjoy the food" Hyoyeon said
"Oh? I didn't thought of that possibility" I scratched my head and they giggled
"Do you want some more?" Sunny asked
"I always want more but then we'll never leave the cafeteria"
They laughed and finished their food.
"So how was Japan?" Hyoyeon asked
"Amazing. I met with my parents... I had missed them" I smiled a bit
"A family reunion?" Sunny said
"Ne. It was so fun" I nodded
"Are you going to have a comeback soon?" Hyoyeon asked suddenly
"Huh? A comeback? Not soon. After New Year's Eve we'll might start preparing for it" I answered
"I want to be the first to hear it" Sunny said
"Huh? I don't know if that's possible...the first outside of JYPE?" I looked at her
"Deal" she nodded
While we were talking, Taeyeon walked in the cafeteria with Karina. Sunny waved at them and they joined us. Taeyeon sat beside me and gave me a quick hug which I returned.
"How are you Y/n?" she asked me
"I'm good noona. What about you?" I asked her
"I'm good as well." she smiled
"What about you noona?" I looked at Karina
"I'm good" she smiled
"Have you eaten?" Taeyeon asked
"Ne." we nodded
"Since you are here let's go out." Hyoyeon said
"Out were?" Sunny asked
"Hm... karaoke?" Taeyeon suggested
"Sounds good. Karina you are coming?" Sunny looked at her
"It'll be fun" she nodded
"...I forgot to bring my mask" I said
"Pabo" the four of them shook their heads
"I'll give you one." Karina told me
She gave me an extra mask and they got ready.
"Kamsahamnida noona" I smiled at her
"You know this is useless right?" Sunny spoke
"Huh?" I looked at her confused
"We are trying to hide who we are but we are practically yelling 'Look here, I'm a celebrity' by trying to hide our identity" she explained
"Oh? Now that you say it...you are totally right!" I exclaimed
"Ne but it's not like we can do anything else." Taeyeon told us
"Let's get going already" Hyoyeon said
Taeyeon's drove us to a karaoke. Before we get out of the car, the four girls turned to check on me.
"Huh? Wae?" I looked at them confused
"We are just making sure that you are wearing your mask" Taeyeon said
"You are a bit careless sometimes" Karina added
"I'm not careless" I protested
"Forgetful?" Sunny said
"I'll accept that" I nodded
We got out of the car and walked in the karaoke. We booked a room and got settled.
"So who's going to sign first?" I asked
"Let's sing all together" Sunny said
"Which song?" Karina asked
"I'll choose" Taeyeon smiled and choose LIGHT's debut song
"Omo! They have our song!" I exclaimed
"Wae so surprised?" Hyoyeon laughed
"I didn't expect it" I smiled
When the song finished they were deciding what song we'll sing and I was just watching them quietly.
"Y/n gwaenchana?" Taeyeon that was sitting next to me noticed
"Ah ne noona. I just... I never expected that I'll hear you singing live and my song" I explained shyly
"Oh that's it? I thought that something was wrong" she giggled
"Ani. Everything's okay." I smiled
"Can I choose the song?" I asked
"Oh sure" they nodded
I choose 'Into the new world' and got up.
"Wae did you get up?" Karina asked me
"I'm going to dance" I smiled
As soon as the song started, I started dancing. Karina joined me while the others were singing. I pulled Hyoyeon up.
"Dance with us noona" I said and she joined us
After the song ended we decided to sing 'Black Mamba'. Then we took some pictures and continued having fun.
Time skip 2 days later
I just arrived at JYPE. I was once again called in the meeting room.
"Annyeonghaseyo" I bowed as I got in
"Annyeonghaseyo Y/n" Pd-nim greeted me
"Oh?" I was surprised
"You didn't expect me, did you?" he asked as we sat down
"Honestly I didn't." I smiled
"I wouldn't be the one telling you but we had a last minute change. Anyway, your group is quite popular right now. We would like to ask you to join one more program." he informed me
"Huh? Another one? Wae am I the only one here then?" I asked confused
"Not as a group. Just you. It's 'Roommate'. That means that you won't be living with your group for a while" he said
"...I don't know...I'm not sure that I'll be comfortable with that" I told him
"Hm...what if you can stay at your dorm when you have a really late or really early schedule?" he suggested
"Do you think that it'll help the group?" I asked
"I do. I believe that it'll be good for you as well. Just think about all the experiences you may get and all the memories. Isn't it better that just staying at the dorm when all your members are busy?" he smiled
"You got a point" I nodded
"I'll be honest with you, you are kind of a last minute addition to the cast. They are starting shooting next week. Mianhae but I can just give you a day to decide." he looked at me
"I'll do it." I told him
"Jinjja?! I wasn't sure if you would" he smiled
"Ne. Who is going to be in the cast?" I asked
"Oh I'll let it be a surprise." he patted my shoulder
"Pleaseee" I said
"Ani. I won't tell you." he denied
"Very well" I sighed
"You may get going now. Go buy whatever you need to have with you" he told me
Time skip next week
The day before I move into the shared house, I had my interview for the show. I met the crew in JYPE's cafeteria.
"Please introduce yourself" the camera director told me
"Annyeonghaseyo. LIGHT's Y/n imninda." I smiled at the camera
"How do you feel about being in the show?" he asked me
"Nervous. I don't even know the rest of the cast. Pd-nim told me that it's a surprise... can you tell me?" I looked at him
"Ani" he laughed and I sighed
"Is there something that you think that'll make the cohabitation difficult?" was the next question
"Maybe my obsession with cleaning. I want everything clean and it really annoys me if someone is sitting on the bed with clothes that wore outside...even if it's not my bed." I answered
"But I'll do my best to not annoy the rest about it." I added smiling
Time skip the next day
Jiwoo decided to escort me to the shared house. When we arrived, we got out of the car.
"Wow this is the house from season 1 and 2." I looked amazed
"You liked that show didn't you?" he looked at me
"Ne, especially the season with Jackson hyung" I smiled
"It's time to get going Jiwoo" manager hyung told him
"Araseo" he nodded
"Behave" he said as he gave me a hug
"I'm not a troublemaker you know" I hugged him back
"Because I don't allow it. Have fun" he smiled as he got it the car
I took my suitcase in the house. It was just like in the TV. I looked around amazed. I was the first one that arrived so I left my suitcase somewhere that didn't bother and looked around the house
"Oh? This room has a bed now?" I looked at room 5 that had a bunk bed
"I should call Jackson hyung over sometime" I said
The doorbell rang and I walked all the way out to answer the door.
"Oh? Annyeonghaseyo" Nana greeted me
"Annyeonghaseyo" I bowed
"Let me help you" I offered to take her suitcase
"Kamsahamnida" she smiled
I took the suitcase inside and placed it next to mine. I turned to her
"Annyeonghaseyo, Y/n imninda. I'm from the new boy group of JYP" I introduced myself
"Annyeonghaseyo Nana imninda" she smiled and did the same
I smiled shyly as we sat down. She looked around.
"Oh?" she exclaimed
She walked to the kitchen table and returned with a box.
"This box has envelopes with our names on them" she told me
"Oh okay" I looked at it as she opened it
She gave me my envelope and took hers.
"Kamsahamnida" I said politely
We opened the envelopes. I took out a paper with my assigned room written on it.
"Which room did you get?" Nana asked me
"Room 5" I showed her the paper
"Oh it's the one down here" she told me
"What about you sunbaenim?" I asked her
"Room 1 and no need to call me sunbaenim. We are going to be living together" she smiled at me
"Araseo" I smiled shyly
"Do you want me to take your suitcase to your room?" I said
"Is it okay?" she looked at me
"Ne" I nodded and got up
I grabbed her suitcase and walked upstairs
"Um... Noona which one is Room 1?" I yelled
"The one next to the stairs" she answered and I took the suitcase inside
"Oh this is big" I was surprised
While upstairs, I took the chance to look around the rest of the house. Nana was changing.
"Y/n do you have a schedule later?" she asked me as she came out
"Ani" I shook my head
"Ah then mianhae. You'll stay alone for a while, I have a schedule" she smiled apologically
"It's okay noona" I smiled shyly
"Now I'll get going. Take care" she smiled and grabbed her things to leave
After she left I went in my room and put away my things. I played a bit on my phone and then decided to dance a bit.
Time skip an hour later
I was in the living room when I heard the door open. I stopped the music as Nana walked in.
"Annyeonghaseyo noona" I greeted her
"Annyeonghaseyo. Still alone?" she asked
"Ne. No one came yet. They must be busy" I scratched my head
"Probably" she smiled
Just then the doorbell rang. I walked towards the door when she stopped me.
"I'll show you how we answer the door" she took me to the kitchen and showed me how we answer
"Oh? Okay. Kamsahamnida" I bowed to her
We then went to the door. Chuu smiled at us.
"Annyeonghaseyo" we greeted her
"Annyeonghaseyo, Chuu imninda" she introduced herself
"Nana imninda" she smiled
"Y/n imninda" I said shyly
"Do you want me to take your suitcase?" I offered
"Oh kamsahamnida" she accepted
Nana grabbed Chuu's envelope and gave it to her.
"Our rooms are assigned" she explained
"Oh okay" Chuu opened the envelope
"Room 1" told us
"Oh we are sharing a room" Nana smiled
"I'm going to take the suitcase upstairs" I said as I was already on the stairs
I left the suitcase in the room and went back down.
"Y/n we are going to put our things away." Nana told me
"Araseo noona. Is it okay if I sleep for a bit?" I asked shyly
"Oh of course. Go rest" she smiled and they walked upstairs
I went in my room and fell asleep.
Time skip 2 hours later
No one's pov
Y/n was half asleep in his room. Now almost every roommate was in the house. The doorbell rang and Kai answered it. Sunmi smiled at him.
"Annyeonghaseyo" she said
"Annyeonghaseyo" he bowed
He helped with her suitcase and now all the roommates where in the house. Everyone gathered in the living room to welcome her.
"Y/n isn't here yet?" Sunmi asked after everyone introduce themselves
"He is asleep in his room. We decided not to bother him" Chuu answered
"Asleep? This kid" she shook her head
"I'm going to wake him up then" she said
"Okay, we'll make the table for lunch" Seung-yeon said
"Um which one is his room?" Sunmi asked
"Come, I'll show you" Sooyoung offered
They walked to Y/n's room and opened the door quietly
Y/n's pov
I felt someone shaking me gently. I opened my eyes and saw Sunmi kneeled next to me.
"Wha- noona?!" I exclaimed surprised and hugged her
"Oh? I didn't know that you'll be so happy to see me" she hugged me back
"I'm so happy. I was worried that they'll be a lot of beautiful girls. I already met two and I'm afraid that I'll embarrass myself."
"Do you mean that I'm not beautiful?" she raised an eyebrow
"Ani. You are the most beautiful noona but I know you and I'm comfortable around you"
"Then what about me?" Sooyoung asked
I looked towards her. She was standing by the door
"Of course you are beautiful as well noona." I smiled at her
"But who's more beautiful?" she asked.
"Can't decide" I got up and hugged her
"Are you staying here too?" I asked them
"Ne. You didn't know?" Sunmi looked at me
"No one told me who's going to stay here" I explained
"You must have been very nervous then" she said
"I still am. I've met only Nana sunbaenim and Chuu sunbaenim" I informed her
"Jinjja? Then you'll be surprised. They are setting up the table" Sooyoung informed me
"What? Everyone are already here?" I asked shocked
"Ne. Come on" she said
"Oh noona that's bad. Their first impression of me must be terrible" I muttered as I followed her out of the room
"Nonsense. We know that probably you were tired" Sooyoung said
"You better go wash your face. You just woke up" Sunmi suggested
"Okay but..." I looked at the floor
"I'll wait here" she smiled
I smiled at her gratefully and went to wash my face quickly. I returned and we went in the kitchen.
"Here he is" Sunmi said as we walked in
"Annyeonghaseyo" I bowed 90 degrees
"Mianhae. I slept more than I thought" I apologized
"No need to apologize" Seho told me
"Before we eat let's all introduce ourselves." Dong-wook suggested
"Annyeonghaseyo Sunmi imninda" she started
"Annyeonghaseyo Sooyoung imninda"
"Annyeonghaseyo Seung-yeon imninda" Gong Seung-yeon introduced herself
I looked at her surprised. She smiled at me.
"Annyeonghaseyo EXO's Kai imninda" Kai said
"Annyeonghaseyo Seho imninda"
"Oh annyeonghaseyo Kang imninda" Song Kang bowed
"Annyeonghaseyo LOONA's Chuu imninda."
"Annyeonghaseyo LIGHT's Y/n imninda" I bowed
"Annyeonghaseyo Joon-hyung imninda"
"Annyeonghaseyo Nana imninda" she smiled
"Annyeonghaseyo Dong-wook imninda"
"Now that we introduced ourselves let's eat" Seho said
I sat between Sunmi and Dong-wook. We started eating.
"Y/n you are from JYP right?" Joon-hyung asked
I nodded while eating.
"Yo JYP family again! I was with Jackson in season 2. We were JYP brothers" he told me
I just smiled politely as I continued eating
"Oppa you won't get a response from him" Sooyoung told him
"Huh?" He looked at her and everyone laughed
"He doesn't talk when he eats." Sunmi explained
"Jinjja? Not talking at all?" he looked at me
"I can talk if you want hyung" I told him
"Ani ani. Don't pressure yourself. I was just surprised" he smiled at me
"Yah! You scolded us when we made you talk while eating but you say that you can talk if oppa wants?" Sooyoung glared at me
"Mianhae noona but we are JYP family as hyung said" I smiled at her
"Don't smile at me. Now I'm mad." she ate her food
"Huh? Noona I can talk to you but don't be mad please"
"...I'm still mad" she said
"I'll treat you to anything you like" I said hopefully
She thought and then nodded
"We are good again" she said
I smiled and sighed relieved.
"Has everyone settled into their rooms?" Sunmi asked
"Everyone but me. I didn't want to wake Y/n up" Kai said
"Oh? Mianhae" I got up and bowed 90 degrees
"Ani. Don't worry. I can put my things away later" he smiled
I went back to eating while the others were talking
