ON THIS WONDERFUL
Sunday afternoon, I was as usual on my couch, a bowl of popcorn on my side and music belting out from the speakers.
"Like I'm the only one who knows your heart, only one!" I belted out, a knock on the door making my horrible singing come to a halt.
"Coming!" I stood up, dusting extra popcorn bits off me and walked to the door.
"Ashton?"
"That's me" usually when ashton would visit he would, text, call, anything, he wouldn't come out of the blue, so I was sure the surprise on my face was evident.
"Morning?" I raised an eyebrow, my eyes squinted making sure he was here.
"It's afternoon, but anyways can I come in?" I moved out of the door way, making him (as usual) tumble in, almost falling on his face.
"You should really get this tiny evil piece of mini stair removed" he grumbled.
"So what brings you up to your girlfriends crib?" I asked, plopping on the couch beside him.
"I'm breaking up with you" he hurriedly said, making my breath stop for a minute before I started laughing.
"No, no you aren't were in love remember?" I said, my voice cracking out of worry.
He couldn't leave, not when I was head over heels in love with him, absolutely not.
"I can't stay with you" his eyes stayed on the ground not daring to meet wide, worried eyes.
"Ashton, pretty sure April fools is like a month away from now, so no need for the jokes buddy" I gently hit his chest, making him scoot farther away.
"Ok fine, you're breaking up with me, may I know why at least? Because you can't be that much of a jerk and leave me broken hearted without closure." my anger and sadness reaching a boiling point.
"Yeah well I cheated, and I'm just not happy in this relationship, so that's that" he spoke, not a single inch of guilt lacing his words.
"It's not you, literally. it's me, I'm just not happy, and like you said yesterday do what makes you happy" he spoke calmly.
"My name might mean morning beauty but you sure as hell won't be seeing any morning beauty if you don't get out my house you ginormous piece of--" before I could finish my sentence ashton stood up, shook my hand and left.
Simple as that, but not only did he leave, he dragged my heart behind him as if it was trash.
"Fuck you Ashton Irwin"
