She may never know
how i dreamt about her
each night
or notice the blushes
in my cheeks
when she makes me smile
but one thing is for sure
—the very thing
that i'll always treasure
and that is—in this lifetime
she is a shooting star
on a starry night
that even though she's
not bound to fall for me
and all i can do is to stare
i'd always long for her
not just now but forever.
