some people are selfish
they always said "cut loose threads"
it's rude, isn't it?
achromatic
tasting fire
let's run away together
to the sound of a tuning fork
a poet says the things others cannot
what i am not
dangling thread
cuticle clippers [1, 2, 3]
the burning pain in the back of my throat (is all i have)
"hey, you're moving too fast."
i'm thinking about you
peace (and illusions of it)
tomorrow has come
let's fly away
the devil in you
cannibalism
a little cut & drip
time never listens
stars that i never see
hanker sore
stomach acid (maybe blood)
to not shed a tear, not a single tear
eighty-thousand layers of grief
"you're out of my league."
hurricane
hanahaki
roses
drink
it can't (i can't)
i exist
dead silence

- what are you doing?
tasting fire -
- how do you do that?

[ by dreaming of getting high of the gasoline as flames surround me and i don't get burnt. it touches my face and i lick it, it tastes like nothing and everything— but alas, it is only a dream. as the small flame spiraling out of the lighter in my hand illuminates the darkness of my room. i reach out to touch it, but flinch away immediately. i try to touch it again, but pull away after i feel myself burnt; my skin is red, angry me for thinking so stupidly, the way i do.] ... it was a joke, don't worry -
