The next few days went by swiftly, all of the sbi found out about me and Techno immediately. We thought we were low-key but I guess you can't get pass your friends eyes. They congratulate us and supported our relationship, we had a really fun time touring London and going to my university campus.
Techno is staying here for 2 months but the boys can't stay with him that long so we agree on leaving Techno with me. We live with each other like a normal couple.
I was genuinely happy.
Until I remember Jarred is still in town.
It was already about 2 weeks since Techno first day here and it was already 2 weeks since I saw Jarred with that waitress girl. I didn't know how to feel, it was just painful at the time.
Now that I'm with Techno, I feel a lot better but... it bothers me. Do I love Techno? Or am I only doing this because I want to make Jarred jealous. Was I jealous of the waitress? Did I wanted to be the waitress when they were making out?
"Hey." - Techno voice interrupted my thoughts.
"Eat up or you'll be late to your lecture soon." - He smiled.
What am I even thinking about... just his smile alone makes me feel happy.
I put down my fork and pulled his face in for a kiss.
"Wow- wow... Give me a warning next time!" - He say with his face tomato red.
"I love you." - I smiled.
"Love you too." - He look at me and kiss my forehead.
"Now eat, you're about to be late sunflower." - He smile softly.
I giggled as I eat my breakfast.
I could feel his gaze on me.
"What were you thinking about Avery?" - He asked softly.
"My psychology assignment... there this part I don't really understand." - I lied blatantly.
"Maybe I can help, what's the problem?" - He raised his eyebrows.
Maybe I could see what he think...
"Well... it's about a couple..."
"The girlfriend feels like she only got together with her current boyfriend to make her ex jealous and we have to help her figure out her feelings."
"Hmm..." - He looked down at his empty plate.
There was a few seconds of silence that make me feel like I made the wrong decision... Has he caught on?
"I personally think that she wouldn't be worry if she only wanted to use the guy." - He answered.
"People like that are more driven to constantly think about their ex rather than their current partner." - He continued.
"The fact that she worried for him is reassurance that she didn't get with him just to used him." - He looks up at me and smile brightly.
I really do love him.
"Ok enough of that talk, you need to go to your lecture now darling." - He stood up and grab the dishes.
"Thanks dear!" - I replied as I grab my bag and rush outside.
"I love you!" - I shouted when I put on my shoes.
"I love you too!" - I hear him shout back.
Techno pov
What I said was genuine but... I'm worry. Does she still have feelings for Jarred? The thought make my stomach sick. As I continue to do the dishes the door bell ring.
Did she forget her keys?
Opening the door I smiled.
"You forgot the key-" - I stop midway to see Jarred at the door.
"Why the hell are you still here?" - Jarred stared at me.
"The real question is why are you here?" - I said as I stared him down.
I'm not exactly in a good mood after that unpleasant breakfast. Knowing he's the problem make my blood boil even more.
"You're not even on a real name basis Mr.Technoblade. I've been friends with her for years." - He growled.
"In fact, me and Avery is on a real name basis." - I replied sternly.
"Go back to your friend with benefits and leave us alone." - Looking down on him I growled.
"You- did she- she saw what happened at the restaurant...?" - Jarred face turned blue.
"Is that why she haven't been replying to my text...?"
"If you're talking about those texts you send at 2 a.m then yes." - Throwing him a dirty looks I scoffed.
"You- are you and her...!" - He looks up at me angrily.
"Keep trying to reach her and see what I'll do to you." - I squinted my eyes as I put one hand on his shoulder.
"Don't treat my girl like your side chick. You lost your chances the moment you kiss that waitress." - Giving him a cold look I closed the door.
Leaning against the door I slowly slide down to the floor.
This is just... too much.
Does Jarred seriously have no dignity...?
Clenching my fist I ponder on about my relationship with Avery.
I love her but at the same time... it's annoy me that she still haven't cut tie with Jarred.
I know it's not my place to pick who she hang out with... it's just irritating knowing he could steal her from me...
I should get back to the dishes. She'll be back for lunch in a couple hours.

Rewatching Promise Neverland I sit with a table full of foods.
Where is she.
Her lecture should already be over by now.
Picking up my phone I call her.
"Where are you?" - I asked.
"Oh hello there Mr.Technoblade."
What. Why is Jarred on the other line...?
"Me and Avery just eating lunch right now."
Looking over at the table full of foods, I suddenly feel my heart throb.
"Oh she's coming back from the bathroom, I'll talk to you later." - He said as he hang up on me.
I don't think I want to call again.
Cleaning the table I suddenly feel an urge to punch something. I wanted to punch Jarred. I should've done so this morning when I had the chance.
Sighing to myself I pick up my phone once again.

Smiling to myself I start to clear the table again.

"Avery!" - I rush over to the door to hug her.
She looks a bit down...?
"What's wrong?" - Lifting her face up I ask.
"Jarred is going to stay in London permanently..."
What...
"And why would that matter...?" - I mumbled.
"Techno... you'll be leaving soon aren't you?" - Her voice shaken..
"Avery..." - Looking down at her I could see her tears run down just like that night.
"Techno let break up." - She cries while holding onto my shirt.
"What...?"
"You can't be serious Avery..."
"No matter what happen I can't deal with a distant relationship Techno!"
"I will only hurt you later on anyway!" - She yelled.
Holding her tighter in my arm I place my head on top of her.
"I'll wait."
She tried to push me away but I only held her tighter.
"Techno! I'm not worth it!"
"I can't guaranteed I won't get with someone else Techno!"
"I- I don't deserve you..." - She cried.
"That's ok."
"I love you."
"Please just let me stay with you until these 6 weeks past."
"After that we can go our own ways ok...?"
We hugged each other in silence for a few minutes until she looks up at me and agree.
"But promise me one thing." - I mumbled as she slowly looks up at me.
"Date anyone else but Jarred." - I say sternly.
"I know... him staying in London just make me realize how painful it will be if we continue..."
"I don't want you to go through what I went through..."
"Just crying every night..."
"It's worth it..."
"You're worth it."
Wiping away her tears I kiss her softly.
"We'll continue to stream together, develop the lore, play in MCC,..." - I paused.
"As friends." - I continue.
"Yeah... as friends." - She looks up at me and smile sadly.

I guess love can't overcome everything. 6 weeks go by so quickly after that night. Guess time go by faster when you have fun...
Hugging her at the airport I feel as though my heart is going to sink.
I don't want to leave but, it is what is is.
"Bye bestie." - She looks up at me.
"See you in 2 years." - I smile softly at her.
"Yeah.."
As my flight get announce I feel as though I was about to cry.
So much have happened and now my heart is being torn apart at the sight of her figure get smaller when I walk to my gate.
I'm glad it happened. No regret... I love her and I'll continue to love her.
