"...wake me up...when September ends," the voice continued to sing. Her angelic voice echoed in the dead air. I know that voice.

A single spotlight shone upon her as if on cue. She looked like she got mauled by a bear but I was glad to see that she's alive.
I stopped playing. "Aliyah?"
"It's me, Billie!" She shouted back.
Without thinking, I jumped downstage and ran to her. Out of respect, the crowd made way for me.
I could see the people making way for Aliyah too as she ran.

As soon as I faced the girl I thought I've lost, I wrapped my arms around her as tight as I could for a glorious 10 second hug.
"You came back," I said happily.
"I'd do...anything...ANYTHING...just to get to you."
Tears of sorrow were quickly replaced by tears of joy.
Mike was right...it will be okay.
