We had always been big in Italy and in some other countries because of winning sanremo but now maybe eurovision will make us more well known in other countries and spread our music and messages.
We were walking down the streets of Rome, to get to the place where we could sign up for Eurovision, Ethan wouldn't let us take the car because the sign up area is only 10 minutes away from the house and it would be a waste of diesel.
"I can't wait" said Victoria as we walked she had woken me up a 5 in the morning just to get dressed in matching outfits with the rest of the band even though we didn't have to leave till 8.
"Me to, I wonder how many other artists will be there?" I asked
"Loads, eurovision is a pretty big deal y/n" said Damiano turning back
"True" I said trying not to think about the people watching us play.
Once we had finally reached the sign up area there was a big line to get in. my stomach growled with hunger shit I forgot breakfast, how could I be so stupid this is one of the biggest moments of our lives and I could ruin it by being hungry and forgetting breakfast Thomas looked at me and reached into his bag and pulled out a chocolate bar and handed it to me "here I brought this for myself but I know what happens when you don't eat" he said smiling "thanks Thomas!" I said gratefully
Just then we were next in line I felt the nerves at last, thank god for Thomas giving be that chocolate bar or I would've thrown up everywhere.
"Next!" The woman called as if it was a shop."names, ages, the instruments you are playing and your song"
"I'm Damiano David the singer Victoria de Angelis is playing bass, Ethan Torchio is playing the drums,Thomas Raggi is playing the guitar and Y/n L/n is playing electric guitar" Damiano finished giving the information and the woman told us to go into the next room to see if the judges liked pur song.I was so excited I had waited for this moment forever I have always wanted to enter eurovision and now I'm finally here.
"Måneskin come to the stage please" said a judge
We started playing the song as Damiano was singing you could tell we were putting in our best efforts
"E buonasera, signore e signori, fuori gli attori
Vi conviene toccarvi i coglioni
Vi conviene stare zitti e buoni
Qui la gente è strana, tipo spacciatori
Troppe notti stavo chiuso fuori

Once the song was over the judges claped loudly and wrote something on their paper
"Thank you måneskin you are through!" Said a judge smiling
I stood there gawping at them, we were through måneskin was officially in eurovision
Me and the other members went home excitedly we were celebrating all night it was a dream come through for all of us. Went upstairs to his room to get something he came back with papers in his hand
"What are those Damiano?" Ethan asked
"Letters I wrote to my future self when I was like 9" he replied "this one says: Dear future me how are you? Probably not great knowing me but if you have become a Rockstar like I had always dreamed I know your doing great." Everyone started laughing
Once everything had settled down a bit we went to bed seeing as it was 4 in the morning and we were all drunk as fuck
