It's a shame that I myself
Understand my mind the best
In the dark and silent night
Soon the clock will strike five
And still insomnia keeps me awake
Though my thoughts alone is enough
To keep me awake and wondering
At five A.M.
Why anyone would be born
Into a life like this
Personal as it might be
I will still publish my thoughts
In the hope that someone
Will free me from the demons
And my blackened thoughts
Until I find someone to completely free me
I will continue hurting
And continue looking
My eyes will flicker over the landscape
Of this world and the one in my mind and dreams
And they will see exactly what I'm looking for
Though I don't know what it is
