me and jj were talking in the twinkie.
jj: so kie and pope saw.
y/n: saw what?
jj: my bruises.
y/n: how?
jj: i bought a hot tub and then they ended up seeing...
y/n: what'd they say?
jj: they just gave me a hug. i cried a little.
y/n: i'm sorry i wasn't there.
jj: it's okay..
y/n: how bad is it?

he lifted up his shirt and he had 3 big bruises spread across his stomach.

couple days later*
i was with rafe.
rafe: look we gotta go somewhere.
y/n: what? why?
rafe: i don't have time to explain just listen.

rafe grabbed my arm and he dragged me on his motorcycle. we went to barry's house.

i tried to open it and i was pounding on the door.

i heard the door slam, fuck they left.
jj pov:

we just fought off barry and rafe. these motherfuckers. i'm so sick of there shit. i'm gonna kill them one day i swear to god.
we left them there.
jj: where's y/n?
pope: i thought she was with you guys.
jj: no we thought she was with you.
pope: i haven't seen her.
jj: are you serious?
pope: yeah man what's going on?
i could feel my heart beating really quick. i felt like i was gonna pass out. usually i know where she is if she isn't by me. i could feel this guilt kicking in.
pope: jj?
kie: jj?
jj: what what.
kie: you okay?
jj; yeah. i - i just. i have no idea where she is.
kie: it's okay let's just check at john b's and your place.
jj: okay okay yeah let's do that.
we went to check around but nothing and it was already 7pm. i had no idea where she was and i started to cry a little.
pope: jj man it's-
jj; get off of me pope. just leave me alone man.
pope: jj don't worry i'm sure she's fine.
jj: you dont know that!
kie: jj just calm down
jj: you guys don't get to tell me to calm down and relax! that's my baby sister! the one i raised alright! so d- don't.
jj could feel his throat choking up and his voice breaking. tears rolled down his cheeks, he yelled at his friends to stop being emotional, then apologized for crying again in front of them.
kie and pope both felt bad for him and gave him a hug while he sobbed more into there arms.
he was clueless where his sister could be considering they checked everywhere. his best friend john b and his girlfriend are now trying to leave the island but are having a hard time because everyone is looking for him.
he's ultimately stressed.
y/n pov:
i couldn't get out the door no matter how hard i tried. i tried breaking the doorknob, lock picking it but nothing worked.
i ended up falling asleep.
i woke up again still rattling the door knob trying to get out. i sat on the bed waiting to just get out the room and 5 minutes later i saw it moving.
it slowly opened and when it was fully opened i tackled him. when he was on the floor i looked at who it was, it was barry. ugh.
y/n: why did you guys lock me in there!
barry: don't worry about it miss country club.
y/n: i'm not fucking playing around!
barry: i'm not either.
i could feel my body being filled with rage as i went to take a swing on barry. i socked him in the face and he tried to tackle me.
he was now on top of me and i tried pushing him off me but i couldn't. he was holding my wrists down.
y/n: get off you fucking psycho!
barry: calm down!
y/n: get off!
i kneed him in the balls causing him to fall over. i got up to run out of here. as i was running almost reaching the front door i bumped into someone, i looked up to the familiar face. it was rafe.
he had blood all over his mouth.
y/n: what happened to you?
he just shut the door and sat on the couch without answering.
y/n: hello?!
rafe: nothing babe. just relax.
y/n: i have to go.
he got up and stood in front the door. his figure is so tall, and i can't compete with his size.
y/n: rafe. move. seriously.
rafe: i can't let you do that. you have to stay with me, with me.
y/n: what why? i have to see my brother and my friends.
rafe: NO!
i just stood there shocked.
rafe: it's always jj and john b. what about me? huh? rafe? your boyfriend? the one who saves you!
y/n: saves me?! what!
rafe: you don't get it. no one does.
y/n: rafe what are you talking about.
rafe: nothing just sit down.
y/n: no i have to go.
rafe: there we go again.

rafe just scoffed.

jj pov:
the cops had our asses. they were looking for john b and we were stuck with them. while pope and kie have this little thing going on, i was worrying about him and my sister.
i sighed, then i heard sudden commotion. yelling, cops going out on boats after them. i tried getting up to look but they pushed me back down.
an hour later shoupe and his buddies came by us.
we all got up to talk to him.
pope: did you find them?
shoupe: no.
kie: so they got away?
shoupe: we, we uh lost them. i'm sorry.
pope: you lost them? what do you mean? like there gone?
shoupe: they took an open boat into a tropical depression pope.
kie: so there dead?
shoupe: we don't know.
jj: you drove them straight through the storm man!
are you kidding me? come here!
jj grabbed shoupe and tried to hurt him but another cop held him back, jj kept yelling and kie was crying telling him to stop. she felt her heart break and pope still didn't wanna believe it. he was questioning shoupe more and more.
the cops left and everyone's parents started coming in.
shoupe and his tribe left, i was just standing there. i can't believe i lost him. i saw kies parents waltz in to give her a hug. then popes, i just stood near them. i just wish my sister was here at least because i know i don't have a parent waltzing in here anytime soon.
i took off my hat and stood there. did they just lead my best friend and his girlfriend to there death. like what the hell is going on. if the getting the gold meant my best friend dying, it wasn't fucking worth it.
i just looked up to see pope and his family hugging, then heyward pulled me in for a hug. i could feel myself holding in these tears that i knew if i let out, they wouldn't stop.
after all of that i just felt so lost. i was so confused with everything.
