I woke up to the sound of Shawn mumbling under his breath. Sleepily turning around to look at him, I watched his eyebrows pull together as if he was thinking intensely upon something, mouth moving slightly as he muttered words to himself, beads of sweat covering lining his forehead.
I moved closer to him, wrapping my arms around his torso, snuggling my face into his bare chest.
He immediately wrapped his arms around me, holding on tight, just as my eyes started to close, and before I knew it, I was back to sleep.
"Please, no!" I heard Shawn scream as he shot up out of his position in the bed and sat up, panting heavily.
I sighed lightly and got up aswell, turning on the lamp beside the bed.
"Shawn, what's wrong?" I asked, rubbing my eyes, focusing my attention on the tall brunette beside me.
"Yazmin? Oh, thank god," he sighed, putting a hand over his chest.
I got out of bed, taking his hand in mine and leading him downstairs, "Come on, baby, lets go get you some water."
One we reached the kitchen, I filled and handed him the glass of water while the both of us walked over to the couch.
He sat down beside me and drank his water slowly, still thinking. I waited for him to finish and calm down before asking him what he had dreamed about.
"So, what happened Shawn?" I asked quietly.
"What?" He said, snapping out of his thoughts, and looking at me.
I raised my eyebrows slightly, "In your dream?"
"Oh," he whispered softly, looking to his right, "well, you broke up with me and left because you didn't love me anymore. You said that you didn't need me and that I wasn't good enough for you, and that you found someone better."
"Oh," baby," I cooed, pulling him closer to me, his head resting on my shoulder, a few more tears spilling from his puffy, bloodshot eyes.
"Shh, baby, it's okay. It was just a dream, I'm right here," I gently stroked his hair as he began to calm down.
"Y-Yazmin?" He said, letting out a shaky breath.
"Yeah?" I mumbled back, running my hand through his messy morning hair.
"What if you do leave me? What if you do find someone else who can treat you better? What if my dream becomes my reality?" He asked, sniffling a bit.
"Shawn that won't happen. I love you so much. You are perfect to me and you make me feel special. I feel like a better person when I'm with you. You're more than enough for me. You're everything I've ever wanted and I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. I wont ever leave you, okay? I will always be here for you," he nodded, while I held onto him tight.
"Princess?" He sniffled again, rubbing his eyes.
"Hm?"
He looked up at me, "I love you, like, a lot. I really do."
I smiled and leaned in, placing my lips on his soft, trembling ones, kissing him with much passion to show him just how much he meant to me.
I pulled back and leaned my forehead against his.
"I really do love you too, Shawn, like, a lot," I giggled, grinning at him, before our lips reconnected once again.
