"Good morning babe." Your eyes open to find Sanzu smiling down at you, his rosy pink hair messy and a lazy expression on his face. "Good morning." you smile and he gives you a quick peck on your forehead before rolling out of your bed. He stands up and stretches then drags you to your feet once you refuse to get up. "C'mon let's go eat." he whines a little at your laziness. "Fine..." you finally give in, both of you heading for the kitchen.
You both sat at the island in the kitchen after making quick bowls of cereal since Sanzu had to go to work very soon. You both spent breakfast talking and laughing about anything and everything, both of you finding peace and comfort in each others presence.
"I gotta head off to work, i'll see you after okay? Maybe we'll go out for dinner tonight too." he kisses your forehead smiling as you wave him goodbye before he exits the apartment. About 10 minutes later you hear the door open back up again. You look over from your spot on the couch to see Sanzu walking over to you, he looked annoyed about something.
"Can you drive me to work? My car won't start." he frowns. "Yeah of course but why won't it start?" you ask and he only shrugs out of frustration. "Don't know, but I don't have time to look at it right now." he tells you and you nod, knowing he's in a hurry so you quickly put your shoes on. Both of you leave the apartment building after you grab your keys, heading to the elevator to get to the parking garage.
You drive him to the location he gives you which ends up being some old warehouse. You pull into the back of the warehouse, crates lined up against the wall. You spot a man sitting on one of the crates, his back facing away from you though so you couldn't see his face. He had very short blonde hair and what looked to be the same tattoo Sanzu had on his forearm- on the back of his neck. You came to a stop so Sanzu could get out.
"Thanks for driving me babe, i'll text you to pick me up later if that's okay?" you nod and he gives you a quick peck on the lips, gazing at you and smiling, his eyes filled with adoration when he pulled away. "Haru you'll be late." He snaps out of his gaze on you and closes the car door shut, then walking over to the man sitting on the crates. You were about to leave but the short haired man looks back at you, you almost jumped, you could see very bad dark circles under his dead soulless eyes, and the look he gave you honestly kinda scared you.
You both held eye contact for a few seconds before you snapped out of it, driving away from the man's stare, you watched through your rear view mirror as his gaze followed your car, uneasiness starting to sink in. "Weirdo." you whisper to yourself as you were now out of sight from him.
"Who was that." Mikey asks Sanzu in a deadpan tone, his eyes following the girls car as she drove away. "Huh? Oh that was my friend-" "I saw you guys kiss." Mikey turns to look at Sanzu now. "Fine you got me, she's my girlfriend... or my lover whatever you wanna call her." Sanzu smiles, not afraid of Mikey like other people might've been. Mikey says nothing more, he's suspicious of the girl, though he hasn't met her, he doesn't have a good feeling about her.
He almost feels threatened by her and he's afraid she'll take Sanzu away from him and Bonton, he knows Sanzu is loyal to him and has been for a long time.... but what if she changes that? A girlfriend. A lover?? So he loves her then... would he have to get rid of her? She could also be a potential distraction to Sanzu, Mikey has noticed Sanzu seemed a bit.... off the past week and he now knew it was that girls fault.... your fault.
If it came down to it, he might have to make Sanzu choose between you and him, and even if he chose you, Mikey wouldn't let that happen. Sanzu is Bonten's number 2 and a very valuable asset to the gang so if need be, Mikey wouldn't hesitate to kill you. He noticed the way you both looked at each other after the kiss you shared, Mikey could be very punctilious so he took note of the way Sanzu looked at you adoringly, maybe he really did love you. That's a problem.
"Boss?" Sanzu speaks, snapping Mikey out of his thoughts. Mikey wasn't going to mention anything to Sanzu about his intentions or what he thought about you, he did though want to somehow meet up with you... he'd figure something out so he could see you, he'd surprise you and catch you off guard while your walking somewhere, somehow Mikey needed to talk to you. Perhaps maybe he'd even kill you just to get it over and done with and he wouldn't have to feel threatened by you anymore. He couldn't have Sanzu Haruchiyo, a ruthless cold-blooded killer turning soft over some girl.
"Sanzu." Mikey speaks suddenly, his blonde hair swaying a bit as a gust of wind blew. "Hm?" Sanzu replies looking up at Mikey who was staring up at the slightly clouded sky. "I'll be leaving a little early today.... I have business elsewhere so when I leave just take care of things." Sanzu blinks, unsure of what business he could have, but he pretty much thought nothing of it. "Of course, boss."
Today you were going out for lunch with Hina and her fiancé, the fiancé you've been hearing so much about. You were outside of the restaurant Hina gave you the name of, waiting for them to show up. "Y/n!!! This is my fiancé Hanagaki Takemichi!" Hina exclaims. You look over to see a man with tousled black hair and deep blue eyes. "Nice to meet you! I've heard so much about you." You smile and Takemichi returns the smile. "As have I, Hina talks about you all the time!" You look over at Hina who looks away in embarrassment. You clear your throat, "Let's go inside." you smile and they both nod as all three of you head inside.
You all sit down at the table the waiter brought you to. He took your drink orders before leaving to go get them. "So, when's the wedding?" you ask them and Hina perks up. "Oh right I have an invitation for you!" She reaches into her clutch purse, pulling out a piece of paper and handing it to you. You read over it and spot the date. "Your weddings in 2 weeks?!" You say surprised at how soon it is. Hina nods. "Yup! I know it's really soon, and we sorta just met but...." Hina blushes a bit.
"Would you be one of my bridesmaids? I don't have many female friends and..." Hina stops talking, her eyes look a bit watery now. "My closest friend is no longer with us so i'd like you to be apart of my wedding in her place." She smiles at you, your eyes wide. "Of course.... i'd love to be apart of your wedding thank you..." you smile slightly shocked at her words. The waiter suddenly comes back with your drinks then takes your food orders.
"I'll be right back, i'm going to the bathroom." Hina stands suddenly, she shares a quick glance with Takemichi before taking her leave. "Hey Y/n." Takemichi speaks suddenly causing you to look up and hum in response. "I know this might be weird, we just met but your really important to Hina, and I hope you and I can become friends as well." You smile and nod. "That's not weird at all-" he shakes his head. "No, no not that... I have something to tell you but you might think i'm crazy." He leans forward a little.
"I think you should be careful... I fear someone, or even multiple people will try to come for you." He tells you in almost a whisper. You look at him as if he was insane, not sure if this was a threat or not. "What?" you say with a slight chuckle not knowing whether to believe him or not. "I know, I know it seems crazy but just please- be careful atleast." He tells you, a serious expression on his face. He seemed genuine and so serious almost to the point it was a bit scary. You only nodded at the black haired male, still trying to process the words he just told you.
"I'm back!" Hina says abruptly snapping you out of your thoughts, right as she came back so did the food. You sat eating your meal with a bit of uneasiness filling you. You tried to participate in their conversations, but it was hard to keep up right now. You just hoped you'd be safe on the walk home, you hadn't brought the car since the restaurant was close to home and you thought a walk would be nice. You continued the rest of your meal that you mostly picked at, towards the end of the meal you started to get a bad feeling.
"It was nice meeting you Y/n!" Takemichi exclaims once the three of you get outside. "Yeah.... nice to meet you too." You say, giving him a small smile to hide your uneasiness. "Remember what I told you..." Both him and Hina look at you, you guessed Hina must've knew too and that's what the exchanged glance was earlier before she went to the bathroom. You nod and wave them goodbye, watching them walk away in the opposite direction you had to go.
You turned to walk away, you were thankful it was no where near dark and there were at least some people around. You took a deep breath, maybe you were just overreacting? Yeah, that's it... there's nothing to be scared about, right? You shook your head, trying to distract yourself with something else. You thought about Hina's wedding.
She asked you to meet again tomorrow so she could take you to get fitted for your dress. You smiled at the thought, happy she asked you to be apart of something so big and also excited to meet more of her friends.
You were too busy thinking about the wedding and how your dress would look and how excited you were to tell Sanzu about the whole situation to notice someone lurking behind you. It wasn't until you turned down a street where there were no people in sight that you noticed the presence.
You weren't sure whether to look back or walk faster, you decided to pick up the pace a little but you tried not to make it look so obvious. It was the voice that spoke out to you that finally made you turn around.
"Hey, girl." It spoke, you slowly turned around... your eyes widening at the figure in front of you. He had dark circles under his dead soulless eyes, his blonde hair falling a little past his ears. It was the same guy from earlier.... he had the same stare too.
"I need to talk to you."
