Amelia's POV
"god, what am I supposed to wear for dinner?" I asked myself looking in my closet for something to wear
hoodie? dress? jeans? skirt...ughhhh
I groaned and dialed Addison's number
it went straight to voice mail
I rang her again but she didn't reply too
well that's weird
now what am I gonna do?
wait...I can call Kelianne...I mean we are friends I guess...right?
I let out a sigh and dialed her number
after one ring she answered
"hey Amelia" she said happily
"hey Kelianne. how are you?" I asked trying to start a small conversation
"I'm great. why did you call?" she asked
"well... my dad's girlfriend is coming over to dinner with her daughter and I don't know what am I supposed to wear...I was wondering if you could help?" I asked
"really?" she asked as if it was something unbelievable
"um...yeah" I replied confused by her actions
"Okay...I'll be over at your house in minutes" she said
I can imagine her grinning widely
"don't you need my address so you can come?" I asked
"don't worry, I have my ways. see you soon" she said before hanging up
that's weird as well
I decided to shrug it off
I opened Instagram for a while, until I came across a video of Tayler, Nate, and Kelianne dancing
tiktok of course
I closed the app and went to the app store
I typed tiktok and the app on my screen
I hesitantly pressed install and dropped my phone on the bed
why am I even installing this app?
my thoughts were interrupted by hearing the doorbell
I got up and walked downstairs
"who is it?" my dad asked
"it's my friend" I replied
"why is she or he here? I told you my girlfriend is coming for dinner" he said
"she's here to help me with choosing my clothes" I said crossing my arms over my chest
"you really need someone to help you" he said rolling his eyes before walking away
I let out a sigh and opened the front door
there was standing a smiling Kelianne and an annoyed Tayler
"hey Amelia" Kelianne said excitedly before pulling me into a hug
"hey Kelianne" I said laughing slightly and hugging her back
"can I go now?" Tayler asked rolling his eyes
"no! you're gonna help me choose an outfit for your girlfriend" Kelianne said
Tayler rolled his eyes again
"well let's go" I said
I walked to my room with both of them behind me
"so do you have anything in mind?" Kelianne asked
I flopped on my bed facing the ceiling
"nope" I said
she walked to my closet and dug into it
Tayler was playing with his phone while sitting on my couch
which reminded me that I just downloaded tiktok
I grabbed my phone and opened the app
I made an account which was amelia.rose
I started scrolling through tiktok before Kelianne called my name
"yeah?" I asked looking at her
"I found something" she said
I got up and saw her holding some ripped jeans and a crop top
"change them and Tayler will give his opinion" she said
Tayler looked up at the mention of his name and smirked
"I'm in" he said sitting back and putting his hands behind his head
"of course you are" I mumbled before walking to the bathroom
I put the outfit on
it looked good. but I don't think something I can wear on a dinner
I walked out and stood in the middle of the room, in front of Tayler and Kelianne
"so?" I asked
Tayler looked me up and down before shaking his head
"you look really hot right now, but that's not something you can wear on a dinner, plus we're almost in winter you might get cold" he said sitting back
"how cute" I heard Kelianne mumble
"well to the next outfit" I said walking to my closet
I grabbed a hoodie and some leggings
I think they might say no, but it's worth a try
I would honestly love to go in these
I walked out of the bathroom proud of myself
they both raised their heads and looked at me
they gave me a 'are you really serious' look
"what?" I asked
"you really want to go on dinner with THAT outfit" Kelianne said moving her finger across my body from her place
"aw come on it's not that bad" I said looking at myself in the mirror
"trust me Lia...it really is" Tayler said
I rolled my eyes and scoffed
"fine" I said walking to the closet
I grabbed an outfit.
it was a short skirt and a cute top
they are really cute but I doubt they might look good on me

I walked out of the bathroom
Tayler looked me up and down and smirked
"damn. never thought my girlfriend would be this hot" he said making Kelianne look up from her phone at me
"woah...this is definitely the one, and with high black boots you will look fascinating" she exclaimed
I walked to the mirror and looked at myself in the mirror
the skirt hugged my curves perfectly, which made me for the first time feel beautiful
"okay...I guess this is the one" I said smiling
I sat on my chair and grabbed my hair brush
I brushed my hair before turning back to Kelianne
"how do you think I should make my hair?" I asked her
she looked at me for a while, thinking
"I think you would look really good if your hair was in a perfect bun" she said
I nodded my head
"well...can you help?" I asked
she grinned widely before walking to me
she started brushing my hair
"sorry I'm excited, it's like the first time in a really long time I get a girl best friend, first time I help someone choose and outfit or make their hair or-" she was interrupted by Tayler
"Kelianne, you're ranting again" he said
"sorry, I got excited" she said squealing
I smiled at her actions
"how long have you guys been friends?" I asked them
"5 years" they both replied
"Tayler, Nate, and Bryce have been friends since their childhood, and we met in 2016 and became friends immediately" she said before setting the brush on my table

"okay girl you look hot!" Kelianne exclaimed
I just finished doing my make up with some help from Kelianne
"doesn't she Tayler?" she asked turning to him
he looked up at me and smirked
"yeah she does" he said biting his lip
what is he trying to do?
"Amelia! come here!" I heard my dad yell from downstairs
"shoot, I have to go guys" I said grabbing my boots and putting them on
"are you going out?" Tayler asked
I shrugged my shoulders and ran downstairs
"yes dad?" I asked
"we're going to have dinner out not here because my girlfriend doesn't like homemade food" he said
I held the urge to roll my eyes
of course she doesn't
"I have to call my friends first" I said before running upstairs
I opened the door and both of their eyes were on me
"I have to go out, my keys are in the first drawer, take it with you and lock the house, I'll get it back from you tomorrow bye" I rushed before running out of the room
I grabbed my bag and walked to my dad
"I'm ready" I said
we walked to his car and got in
this is going to be a long night
