Blinding lights welcomed you and for a second you thought you were dead. (I'm blinded by the lights- had to ;-;) but then you heard a soft sniffle and a sob beside you.
Tiredly turning your head, you saw Nat hunched in her chair, her beautiful face red and puffy with tears. She let out the occasional sob but otherwise she was quiet.
"Tasha?" You mumble and she snaps her head up, eyes lighting up as she sees you. "Oh fuck Y/N I thought you-"
She chokes up again and suppresses her tears.
"I was dead? You're not getting rid of me that easy Romanoff," you slightly chuckle. Nat smiles a little.
Nat trails her fingertips up your arms, resting her palm against your cheek. It feels nice and cold against your heated skin. "Why did you.....why?"
You shrug, turning away. "We fought and....I don't know...it felt right.. He's right you know.." You smile slightly, tears pricking your eyes. "I am better off dead.."
"Y/N no honey!" Nat cups your face, making you look into her eyes. Her heart breaks when she sees the anguish in your eyes. How can she make you believe how much you're worth? How much you mean....to her..
"Y/N you're so much better than him. None of what he says is true. You're not worthless. You're NOT pathetic. You're definately not better off dead. When are u going to see he doesn't deserve u? He doesn't smile every second he looks at you. He doesn't pay attention to you, admire ur every quirk. He doesn't even believe you when you tell him its a bad day. You deserve someone better, Y/N...you deserve someone that wants to kiss you every second you're together because you're just so darn adorable. You deserve someone that wakes up in the middle of the night to hold you when you're crying. You deserve breakfast in bed and morning sex and late night kisses, not that asshole of a guy.
You deserve someone who appreciates you and loves you to who you are.. You-"
Nat stopped abruptly. Your faces were inches apart, just a breath of air between your lips.
"And who would that be?" You whispered softly, moving your hand to rest it in her hair. She gasped as you moved closer, your noses touching. "Is there something you wanna say to me...Tasha..?"
"I love you Y/N-" Nat blurted out and you smashed your lips together. Her eyes closed in pure ecstasy as she dissolved into your touch, her wildest fantasy coming true. Your lips moving against each other in sync, both electric and tender.
You gasped when she pulled away, the air knocked out of your lungs. Leaning your heads against each other, Nat giggled like a schoolgirl biting her lip.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that," she whispered.
