I've been walking for quite a while... I'm tired.
Although...my friends camp should be just over that hill...
I grab out my chat and type:
Favremysabre: Hey guys, y'all awake?
09sharkboy: ye, Moose and Nathan are already asleep. I was waiting for you.
Favremysabre: I'm behind the hill, meet you in a minute.
I close Chat and start sprinting over the hill.
I reach the top of the hill and look down to see shark waving a torch around.
I run down the hill and meet up with him.
"watssup dude!" I call to my friend as we walk towards each other for a hug.
We hug and walk to the hidden camp together.
They built it into a cave so the steve's won't see it.
....
I wonder where that green steve went...
He was actually pretty nice.
I feel bad for him... He seemed like he just wanted to be friends.
That blue steve tho...
I don't trust that thing. Next time he even gets remotely close to my area imma pull out a warning weapon.
It's too late to check where green steve is now...
I'll just go to bed and stay outside tomorrow.
I walk inside the camp with shark and he shows me to my spot.
I get myself settled down and then head to bed.

I get up, I look around the room.
Huh.
Moose, Nathan and shark are all asleep...
I should leave a note.
I take out my magic bundle and grab a note and a quill with ink.
I write down:
'Hey you three, I'm heading out early. I need to get some more information on steve's before I can give the book back to my Sender.
I won't be too far from camp. If any of you see any steve's. Hide. Don't attack.

I stick the note to the door and head for the outside.
I walk outside and look for a nice spot to rest.
I walk for a good 10 minutes until I find another flower biome.
Maybe... Green steve will come find me.
Okay... This seems like the perfect spot.
I should write some information down... I could also draw a picture of green steve.
Yeah. I'll do that.
After drawing a bit and writing information down I hear a small cracking noise.
I turn my head slowly and carefully not to alarm whatever is there.
I look and find...
Two green steve's?
Is one of them one I know?

I smile at them and give them a small wave.
The two steves take a few steps back but seem calm enough.
One of them grabs out a paper... What's that on there...?
They both look at the paper and then at me.

One of the green steve's gets out a sign and writes something.
I wait for him to finish so I can read it.
He shows me the front of the sign.
I read out loud to myself.
"hey, are you sabre?"
I nod my head 'yes'
They seem interested.
Wait... They know who I am?
One of the steve's carefully throws the paper to me.
I take a look at it.
It's a pretty good drawing of me! And some information on me...
My name, how to act around me, don't get too close, might feel uncomfortable.
Im harmless? Oh! Unless I feel attacked.
Did... Did that green steve from yesterday make this?

I carefully hold the paper to the steve's.

The two steves walk further away and then sit in the flower filled grass.
They're sitting in my range of sight.

He hands me the book.
"hey sabre! I'm the green steve from yesterday! Could you explain what happened with you and blue?"

So blue asked what it was. I explained it's something to communicate with my friends. Then he suddenly got angry... I think. Well. He started attacking me and trying to drown me. So I ran away. "I finish writing it and hand it to the green figure.
He reads it and looks at me.
I pull out my chat.
He seems interested.
I let him read the chat.
He pulls out a sign and writes on it.
I read:" Oh that's neat! Do you think you could use that to talk to me?"
Okay... Hm...
I write in chat:

Maybe I'll find a different way...
I mean I could just use normal chat.

I look back down on my chat.

Green looks at the chat as well.
I motion for green to sit down with me.
He does so.
He writes something on his sign and shows it to me.
"Favremysabre is you right? Who's that other person?"
I write in chat again
Favremysabre: sorry shark, steve's can see this chat, so I'm using it to communicate.
09sharkboy: oh! You can just do that openly, don't have to message yourself.

I look at green who's facinated by this new thing.
All of a sudden a lot of texts are coming into the chat.
ItsMooseCraft: YOU'RE WITH A STEVE?! BE CAREFUL.

09sharkboy: WAIT HOLD UP YOU'RE WITH A STEVE?!!

That's enough of that.
I look at green who seems a little worried.
I point to the sign green's holding.
He looks at it but then understands.
He gives me the sign.
I write: "sorry about them, they're my friends. They're just worried. But I guess I should warn you...they are quite dangerous. They're not as peaceful as me, they will kill any steve that gets too close to them."
Green Steve reads it and then nods with an understanding expression.
Okay... Let's hope they don't come here
Then I look back to see the two green steves closer than before.
Guess they're interested in what we're doing.
The green steve next to me noticed as well.
We motion for them to sit down as well.
They come closer, but do stay 4 blocks away from me. I guess they're being careful.
I then notice how hard it is to keep them all apart...
Huh... Maybe I could...
I look at the green I met yesterday.
I grab my Bundle and look through the inventory.
I grab out a Grey bandana, the same color as my blindfold.
I hold it out to green.
He takes it and looks at me in confusion.
I write on the sign: "sorry but... Could you wear this? I'm having a really hard time keeping all you guys apart"
All the green steve's read it.
Looks like he's confused on how to wear it.
I grab it and look at him.
He smiles and nods.
I take that as a yes.
I tie the bandana loosely around his neck.
There. Perfect.
He seems to like it, at least I can keep them apart now.
The two other green steve's just look confused.
One writes on a sign: "how come you can't keep us apart...? We all look nothing alike."
"i... Yes you do!" I say to myself, forgetting that they can't hear me.
I write on a sign again: "what do you mean you look nothing alike, you're basically copies of each other!"
They read it and then start looking at each other.
I think steve's can just communicate normally... But I can't hear it... Maybe they speak telepathically?
Or maybe it's on a different like... Tone spectrum... One that I can't hear.
Just as I thought that I realized that my friends arrived.
That in that bush is a gun.
Damnit.
I pull out the chat.

Is all I write in chat and then get ready to use a command.

I keep the command ready.
I get ready to jump up.
Is he actually gonna shoot...?
Just as I think that, I notice his gun going into his normal shooting position.

The bullet hits me in my chest.
I look back and find all three of the green steve's in a panic.
Probably at the loud sound.
I whip out chat again.

I sigh and close the chat.
I turn around to find two of the steve's had run away and hid... Somewhere.
The one with the bandana was still here.
He looks at me and crouched closer.
I seems to be looking at my wound.
I grab out a sign and write:
"don't worry, I can take a bullet."
He reads it and looks even more worried.
He takes out a sign, writes on it and then shows it to me.
"one of my friends got hit with one of these...'bullets'... He was very hurt afterwards... Are you sure you're okay?"
I nod 'yes' and then go back into chat to check if the others sent me any messages.

I carefully reach to my chest and pull out the bullet.

Welp. That's why I have resistance.
I should get rid of that effect now anyway.
I clear the effect by Quickly drinking some milk, The bullet wound already long healed up.
Maybe... I should explain to green steve.
I take out a sign and write on it:
"sorry about that, my friends just tried to shoot you. But it's ok! I made sure they wouldn't do that again."
I show green the sign.
He reads it and nods hesitantly.
Ugh... Great.
They probably ruined my chance of researching these things from up close...

New Mission. Go find out what steve's eat.
I take the sign again and scribble something new on it.
It reads:

Suddenly he grabs my hand and summons lightning on us.

As soon as the green steve lets go of me, I flinch back and take a few steps back.
"What??? Where-this isn't..." I stutter as I look around the new terrain.
I look around some more.

I look up the gianormus tree...
"that thing is for sure higher than 100 blocks..." I say to myself.
I look at the roots of the tree.
There's a big village around the tree...
The tree is almost like a center...

There he is.
I notice that green has been trying to get my attention.
I look at him.
He shows me a sign.
"sorry I should have asked you if you're okay with teleporting first... Hope it didn't scare you too much." I read out loud.
I smile nervously and wave it off.
Where did green bring me in the first place...?
I walk a little closer to green when I see him write something new on the sign.
" this is the green steve village I live at. Everyone here is really nice, I'm sure they like you! I already told them about you!" I read out loud to myself.
I give green a nod and slowly walk after him as he walks into the village.
I look around and find most of the steve's hiding behind things.
The only two steves that aren't hiding are two green steve's with flower crowns.
Wait...are those two the ones from the field?? That's where they went.
Okay...
Green Steve leads me to a house right on the tree roots.
Huh...
He shows me another sign.
I read out loud:
"this is the leaders house, he was very interested in meeting you :)"
"okay... Let's get to meeting this leader guy." I say to myself and walk into the house after green.
