Marinette had already explained everything to her kwami, starting from what the akuma can do, how they got here and what kind of world they were transported to
"I think you should wait and see if the akuma will follow you here. Besides.. Hawk Moth wants your Miraculous, doesn't he?"
That's what Tikki told her, that's why right now she's on the rooftops with Chat Noir trying to spot the villain, they have a huge tv right in front of them hanging from a tall building
"All Might, once again saved the day"a news reporter appeared on the tv while a picture of the said All Might was beside her"Thanks to him, the crisis was avoided"she informed and a video clip played showing how All Might defeated a villain
"Of course.."she turns to look at her partner
"Everything okay, Cat Noir?"she asked
"It's nothing, m'lady. I just thought, since there's superpowers and all in this world that means their are also villains"Chat Noir states looking at her
"We can't do anything about that, that's just how a world works with superpowers.. that's why we can't give up until Hawkmoth is defeated"Ladybug grips her yoyo in hand tighter
An explosion interrupted their peaceful conversation, the two looks at each other before nodding
"You don't really think we can defeat them, right?"Chat Noir asked as they travel from roof to roof
"Doubt it"Ladybug states and used her yoyo to propel herself up in the air
"What do we do if Hawkmoth is also here?"Chat Noir asked using his stick to land onto the next rooftop
"One things for sure. If he is here.. then well have to find him and finally take back the moth miraculous, I doubt it'll be hard when we have heroes with powers on our side"Ladybug smiles at that
Chat Noir smiled before looking ahead"Well then, why don't we hurry"Chat Noir used his stick to propel himself in the air
"See anything?"Ladybug asked as she jumps from roof to roof
"There's a smoke that's blocking my view"Chat Noir states as he lands on a roof and continued running
"We have to hurry, I'll find the villain. Check around the area to see if there's civilians trapped in those buildings"Ladybug states as he jumps in the air
Chat Noir nods using his stick to get ahead of her, landing on the ground she looks around trying to spot a villain causing the smoke
"The fire doesn't look like it was caused by someone.. might be a enhancement type of power"Ladybug looks around and opened her yoyo"Cat Noir, I don't see any villains here. They might've left the scene"she turned her yoyo off and stopped walking
She saw a chunk of debris heading straight towards her, she jumps and avoided it looking towards the source
"Who are you supposed to be?"the villain asked as they stepped out of hiding
"An akuma?"Ladybug states under her breath
"No matter. I'll just crush you just like how I crushed the other pro's, little bug"the villain picked up another debris and throws it at her
Ladybug avoided it and landed on the ground looking at the villain with a glare"Maybe not"she states as she avoided another debris thrown by the villain
Ladybug avoids the debris getting thrown at her as she looks around for ways to try and stop him from destroying anymore buildings
Meanwhile with Chat Noir, he was helping civilians trapped inside a small shop
"Hang in there!"he states as he uses his stick to try and remove the debris blocking the door
Choppers appeared in the sky, as Chat Noir struggled to remove the debris, he looks up seeing someone holding a mic on the chopper
"Can we get filmed? Ladybug didn't tell me if we should hide from the reporters"Chat Noir looks back at the shop and his expression changed as his brows furrowed"Guess I have no choice"
He looks at his hand"Cataclysm!"he called his cataclysm and touched the debris blocking the door
The civilians tapped ran out and thanked him"Thank you so much!"
"It's no problem, hurry and go somewhere safe. Me and Ladybug will handle this"he states as he grabs his stick and extended it
He leaves making sure to not get followed by the chopper, landing in an alley, he checks his stick to see if Ladybug left a message and played it once he saw he had one
"Better hurry and help m'lady"he states as he looks at his ring about to de-transform"Huh?"he looks at his ring closely noticing not a single paw was missing on it"Is it supposed to do that?"he looks at his hand before closing it
"Cataclysm?.."he called and it appeared on his hand"Whoa~ Don't tell me.."he stopped and looked up before smiling"Don't mind if I do"he jumps and landed on the rooftop
Back with Ladybug, she was using her yoyo as a shield
"Nice weapon, too bad it'll take more than that to defeat me"he threw two boulders at her
Ladybug gasped when she noticed the second debris after avoiding the first one, closing her eyes she didn't feel the impact
"It's not nice to throw things at a lady"Ladybug opened her eyes to see Chat Noir in front of her holding his stick
"You okay, m'lady?"he asked looking at her
"I'm fine, thanks"she smiled and nodded before looking at the villain spinning her yoyo
"M'lady, I think our powers can be used multiple times"Chat Noir states as they avoided a boulder coming right at them
"What do you mean?"she asked as she spins her yoyo and tried to grab the villain by the leg
"I already used my cataclysm but I didn't need to recharge"he states as he runs towards the villain to try and hit him with his stick, he jumped backwards when the villain tried to hit him"But I could be wrong"he added looking at her
Ladybug smiled and nodded"Cover me!"she ran towards a debris and hid behind it
"Lucky Charm!"she called as she tossed her yoyo in the air, it gave her a pair of hand-cuffs
"Alright, let's do this"she looks around seeing the villains hands, Cat Noir's ring and the light post behind the villain
She stepped out of hiding as a chopper appeared in the air
"Cat Noir, check that out!"she points underneath the villain as she runs towards him
Chat Noir nodded and also lunged himself towards the villain activating his cataclysm, Ladybug hand-cuffed the villain and used her yoyo to wrap it around him, Chat Noir used his stick to lift him off the ground when Ladybug tied her yoyo on it
"Nice work, m'lady"he states and lifts up his hand for a fist bumped
"Pound it!"they both said in unison
"You think he got an akuma?"Chat Noir asked looking at the villain
"Let's find out"Ladybug walks towards him and checks around his clothes
"You know what that means, right?"Chat Noir asked already knowing what's gonna happen once they do find an akuma on him
Ladybug nodded at him with a sad smile, Chat Noir looks away looking at the ground, his cat ears dropped down, Ladybug checks the villain one more time before smiling once she realizes the villain doesn't have an akuma
"He doesn't have one"she states making Chat Noir look up at her
But it dropped once he realized something, Ladybug also seemed to realize why his smile faded the instant it appeared, looking around seeing the destroyed buildings
"Come on, kitty. We can't stay"Ladybug walks towards him and places a hand on his shoulder
Chat Noir smiles before nodding, they retract their weapons and left the guy tied up on the pole using a rope they found on one of the destroyed shops, Landing on a roof, the both of them looked up at the big tv as it showed clips of them fighting the villain
"The two heroes disappeared after defeating the villain"it showed police officers and other heroes on the scene of the battle before it showed the reporter, a picture of the two of them appeared beside her"Whoever these two heroes are, they will likely be appearing once another attack hits"
The two looks at each other with a small smile before looking back at the tv
"We didn't quite get their names, but according to Shuri one of them calls herself Ladybug"the reporter states as it shows a civilian getting interviewed
"We didn't quite catch his name but he called the other hero Ladybug"the civilian who Chat Noir saved states looking at the reporter who's interviewing him before looking at the camera"Thank you, whoever you are"the civilian states smiling
Ladybug looks at her partner who winks"Cant get all the credit myself"
"I was hoping we don't get caught on camera, but I guess we have no choice. Especially now that we got exposed"Ladybug states looking at him
"You think people will be after us?"Chat Noir asked looking at her
"I don't know, kitty"Ladybug states unsure as she looks up at the sky
Her partner grew quieter making her worry, she looks at him seeing him laying on the ground, he seemed to be deep in thought
"You okay, Cat Noir?"she asked
"I'm fine,m'lady. I was just thinking.."he answered not looking at her
"About what?"she asked and moved closer to him
"I know you don't like it when we talk about this, but... I think it's best if we know each others identities, we can't stay looking like this forever. Our kwamis need to rest"Chat Noir states looking at her
Ladybug thought about that and looked around"I guess we can make exemptions"she states and stood up, she called her lucky charm making Chat Noir sat up
"What are you doing?"he asked
She sat beside him"I'm making us our hero mask, we also need a place to stay"she informed
"But we don't- wait"he turns around"Can you turn around for a second, m'lady"
"Alright"she turned around per his request
"Plagg, Claws In"he de-transformed, Ladybug saw the green light
"I think I have money, or at least a card from my dad. We can use it for now"he informs and Ladybug nodded
"That's great, kitty"Ladybug states
"I need my camembert!"Ladybug heard his kwami whined making her giggle
"Here, don't expect to have more than one starting tonight"Chat Noir informed making Plagg gasped and flew in front of Ladybug
"Ladybug, help me!"Plagg states flying closer to her face
"Plagg!"she heard Chat Noir behind her
"It's okay, Chat Noir.. and Plagg. He's right, we're currently in a tight situation so please bear with us"
"What are you making? Ohh, I hope it's about camembert"Plagg states noticing what she's holding
"It's not. Here, Chat Noir"she tossed a black mask towards him together with a change of clothes
"Thanks,m'lady"she heard him state before Plagg flew towards him
She heard his footsteps disappear and a door opening and closing, when she made sure no one was around she de-transformed
"Tikki, Spots off"Tikki appeared in front of her
"Be safe, Marinette"Tikki states before flying inside her satchel
'I have to change clothes and my purse before meeting him' she thought before standing up
