"Wake up sweetie we made it." Demetrious said as she open the door for Ayanna
Ayanna rubbed the crust that was in her eyes she took look around her scenery and realized that they made it to the townhome that sat in front of them, Ayanna grabbed her grandmother hand as she took her time to get out of the SUV that sat high.
Thomas unlocked the door for the ladies so they could get situated with everything Ayanna thought the place was nice and cozy but she knew she wasn't going to stay there for long, it was just till she could find a nice place for her and the baby.
Toosii wanted Ayanna to continue stay in the penthouse but Ayanna refused after the police came knocking at the door looking for her Ayanna wanted to find a place far form Janaya as possible.
"I know it's nothing like staying in the penthouse but it's everything you need." Thomas said with a smile he loved his home it's where he raised his two kids in.
"It's enough for me thank you once again for letting me stay with you." Ayanna said with a smile she was thankful for Thomas and his hospitality
"You're family we stick together." Thomas said he was glad to have Ayanna here he knew how bad her incident affected Demetrious in many ways
Ayanna felt a kick in her stomach which made her grabbed her belly she looked down and realize it was just the baby moving around, Demetrious watched at her granddaughter was rubbing her belly slightly she knew Ayanna would be a great mother.
"I'm going to be making dinner soon you go get you some rest." Demetrious said
Ayanna looked up at her grandmother with a smile "Only for a little bit I'm meeting everyone at the salon today."
Demetrious rolled her eyes at her granddaughter knowing Ayanna she would be the type of person that survive a shooting end up in a coma then come out and start working.
"You need to rest you're body and eat something let your friends worry about the salon for now." Demetrious waved her off
Ayanna understood her grandmother concern but she couldn't stay in bed forever like she wanted she had to go make some money especially since now that the baby was coming soon, also to add on to other things to find a place that secured for her and her child.
"That's the thing my friends been running the salon since I been gone, I'll get my rest and eat before I leave I promise." Ayanna said trying to reason with her grandmother
Demetrious threw her hands up giving up on the conversation all at once she knew how her grandchild was so head strong she blamed herself for that.
Ayanna took her grandmother silence that they were done with the conversation which she was pleased about, she made her way to the guest room that Thomas told her that would be on her right, the room was cozy made just for a guest room. Ayanna kicked her shoes off and sat down she rubbed the bed before laying her body down letting her head hit the silk pillow case that cover the pillow.

"You can't keep treating her like a baby Demetrious she is a grown adult." Thomas said trying to reason with his girlfriend
Demetrious sat across from him sipping on her red wine before speaking "She is my granddaughter and I want to protect her, I failed her when she was younger but I won't go for it this time." Demetrious blamed herself constantly on how she treated her granddaughter when she needed her the most she promised herself she would never do Ayanna like that again
"You can't keep blaming yourself on the past she obviously forgave you if she wants to be around you." Thomas said
Demetrious shook her head at his statement "She hasn't forgave me because every argument she doesn't mind bringing up what happen."
"The situation still doesn't make it right for you to treat her like a baby she knew her accident was serious but she got to go out in the real world again." Thomas said
"Somebody tried to take my babies life along with my great grandchild as long as I live I will protect my grandchildren so whatever you speaking about I'm not listening." Demetrious said dismissing the conversation at hand
Thomas shook his head he knew it wasn't no getting in Demetrious head once she had her mind made up that was that on whatever situation they had.
Hearing foot steps the couple looked at a pregnant Ayanna make her way in the living room area with the rest of them.
"I'm going to the shop I'll be back." Ayanna said as she gave her grandmother a kiss on the forehead
"Okay sweetie be careful." Demetrious said as she said a silent prayer over her granddaughter.

Ayanna walked into her establishment checking out the scenery she watched as her hair stylist went to work on the clients heads, even some of the clients were getting their nails and toes done on the other side, Ayanna smiled to herself she turned her dreams into reality with the help of the people around her.
"Look at you! I'm happy to see your face." Justin said as he mad his way to his friend he missed Ayanna dearly and was glad she was back to run her business
"I'm happy to see you too how the shop been since I been gone?" Ayanna said
"Business running great we get new clients everyday it seems like." Justin said with a smile
"I love this I knew I would have people come check out my place but nothing like this." Yanna said as she looked around
"They fuck with you because you a down to earth ass hair stylist who don't play about her bag, they gone fuck with you regardless." Justin said truthfully
"How's the baby?" Justin continue on to say as they made their way around the shop
"Moving like hell I find out the gender next week." Ayanna said with excitement she was ready to know what she was having
"Do I hear a gender reveal?" Justin asked
"I'm not doing a gender reveal just a baby shower is fine with me." Ayanna said not really caring for a gender reveal if anything she thought it was pointless
"Hey Ayanna I'm happy to see you." Claire said as she walked over to the two
Claire was relived to hear the good news about Ayanan recovery she didn't know the full situation but she was happy to see her boss coming into work.
"I'm happy to see you too Claire how you liking the shop so far?" Ayanna asked
"I love it feels like home every time I walk in here once again thank you for this opportunity." Claire said
"Of course I seen how you worked and how hair is your passion I need people like that around me." Ayanna went on to say
The two finished up their conversation before Justin and Ayanna made their way back to the office.
"What you got for me today?" Ayanna asked ready to get to work
"Not much just wanted to go over some things just to get you up to date on everything." Justin said as he took a seat
"Monthly rent is already due it had been paid three months in advance thanks to your baby daddy." Justin smirked catching a eye roll from Ayanna
"Last week we did introductions for the employees just to get a feel on everyone, they all seem like they got some sense." Justin went on to say
"Your schedule hadn't been filled since all your clients knew about your situation but I added them back on the list for today." Justin said handing her the iPad with all of her clients listed on it
Ayanna took a look as she scrolled down to the bottom she smiled seeing so many people wanted to book with her, this was the part she was missing and was ready to get back to work.
"Okay my first client is Ebony Sullivan." Ayanna read out the name she immediately knew who were her first client for the day her sister, she wonder what her sister wanted since she didn't need much for her hair.
"Ebony Sullivan? As in your sister?" Justin said with a confused expression on his face
"Yup that's her she comes in at two forty today." Ayanna said as she scrolled through the hairstyle that her younger sister wanted
"Hm maybe she just want to have a sisterly bonding time with you." Justin joked
Ayanna rolled her eyes at the comment before clicking the power button off on the iPad, she checked the time seeing that two forty was approaching she decided to get her station ready

The door open making the bell noise signaling that someone had walk through the door Ayanna eyes meant the familiar face since they shared the same one.
Ebony walked into the establishment eyeing the beautiful interior design inside the shop, Ebony wore her cream white body suit with some Dior flats along with her Dior Fanny pack to match the flats that we're on her feet. Her hair sat nicely in a large puff ball that sat on top of her head.
"Welcome to Ayanna's boutique what can I help you with today?" Noelle the receptionist said
"I have an appointment at two forty with my sister." Ebony said happy she can someone her sister now
"You don't have to check her in she's my client." Ayanna said as she stood up from the chair
Ebony walked over towards her big sister admiring her sister who had a natural glow to her skin, pregnancy looked good on the young twenty year old. Ebony quickly gave her sister a little side hug before sitting down taking her hair out of the big puff ball letting it fall down.
"So glad to see you working in your shop you must miss it." Ebony said trying to make conversation
"I definitely do miss being in here I haven't really had the time in the beginning to be in here." Ayanna said as she ran her figures through her sister curly brown hair
"I seen that you wanted a 26 inch wig install dipped in red?" Ayanna asked as she started to set up her wash station
"Yes it say the hair is provided right?" Ebony asked making sure she didn't make a mistake in booking
Ayanna nodded her head "Yes we provide the hair let's go get your haircut wash." While tapping the chair Ebony got up and headed to wash station
Within ten minutes Ebony was right back in the seat Ayanna started braiding her hairs down making sure to grab each of the little hairs that always wanted to slip out.
"So what made you get into doing hair?" Ebony asked sparking up another conversation
"I started doing hair was when I was in high school my friends would always want me to do their hair when they didn't have the money, I only charge eighty dollars for a wig installment." Ayanna said as she started putting the cap over Ebony head
"I wish some of these hairstylists charge eighty the last girl I went too she messed my edges up, I paid two hundred and fifty for that fucked up bob." Ebony said
Ayanna laughed as Ebony showed her the pictures of the hairstyle Ayanna wasn't the type to talk about anyone talent when it came to doing hair, but she knew that most people didn't have what it take to be a professional hairstylist.
"Well this wig is going to be worth the money trust me." Ayanna ensured her sister
"I know you got this that's why I'm not worried about it, I know all the bitches at my school gone want to know who did my hair." Ebony boost it
The two sisters talked while the time tik away Ayanna couldn't lie and say she didn't enjoy spending time with her younger sister, she never had the experience to meet her sister let along knowing if she had one or not. Ebony on the other hand felt the same way the whole purpose was to spend some quality time with her sister all while getting her hair done in the process.
"All done." Ayanna said as she spin the chair around to face the mirror
"You did your damn thing sis! I love it so much." Ebony said as she ran her fingers through her new hair do
Ayanna took a couple pictures before uploading them on her shop website that she made a little over a month ago, the post was to let everyone know that she was back and better. She also wanted more clientele if she had to found her own place.
Ebony pulled out the cash handing it to Ayanna who pocket the money into her wallet.
"Thank you AyannaI love it." Ebony said once again
"No problem, refer me to everyone you know sis." Ayanna said with a smile
"I sure will you should stop by the house and come spend time with me and dad, we would love for you to come around more." Ebony said
Ayanna nodded her head at the statement "I'll stop by just let me know when it's a good time."
"I sure will." Ebony said and with that the young pretty girl walked out the shop leaving Ayanna to her thoughts
