Amelia's POV
"finally. this was the worst class today" I said as me and Addison walked out of the school
"wanna hang out?" she asked
I let out a sigh and shook my head
"I wish I could but we're having people over for dinner" I replied
"who?" she asked
"my dad's girlfriend and her daughter" I said trying not to sound annoyed
"aw that must sucks" she said
I nodded my head
"well I'm going home, text me after that dinner I have some tea" she said before getting in her car
I started walking home, when a car slowed down beside me
I ignored it but it continued walking beside me
I sped a bit but the car kept following me
I started running and yet again the car kept following me
"jeez Lia, I'm not kidnapping you" a very familiar voice said from the car
I looked to my side and saw Tayler
"oh god you scared me" I said letting out a sigh of relief
"and why is that?" he asked smiling smugly
"a car approached me and kept following me while I was walking home. the least I could do is feel scared" I said rolling my eyes and crossing my arms over my chest
I then realized that this isn't Tayler's car he's driving
"who's car is this?" I asked
"Bryce's. he went with Nate so I'm keeping his car with me until tomorrow" he said
"and what about your car?" I asked
"I came with Kelianne in the morning" he replied
I nodded and silence surrounded us
"get in" he said snapping me out of my own world
"I'm almost there no need" I said shaking my head
"I didn't ask you, I said get in" he said rolling his eyes
I let out a sigh and got in the car with him
he started driving and when we arrived to my street he drove right past it
"where are we going?" I asked
"I'm going to park Bryce's car at his house, then go get some ice cream" he said
"and how am I supposed to go back home?" I asked rolling my eyes
"my house is so close to Bryce's house, and to the ice cream shop. so after getting ice cream we will go to my house and I'll drive you home, no can you please shut up and let me drive peacefully?" he said
I scoffed and crossed my arms over my chest
but honestly, I was happy we're getting ice cream
"I can see you smiling you know" Tayler said smirking
I tried hiding my smile but it was hard
"I'm not" I said looking out of the window
"you are" he said poking my cheek
"okay okay I am" I said smiling slightly
"and why are you smiling? is it because you're enjoying spending time with me? or is it because we're going to my house?" he asked cockily
"no it's because we're getting ice cream" I said smiling cheekily
he laughed slightly while rolling his eyes
"you're such a child" he said shaking his head
"what? I love ice cream" I said smiling
"I know you do" he said before slowing down the car
he parked it in front of a big house which I think is Bryce's house
"come on. I have to give his mom the keys first" Tayler said before getting out of the car
I got out of the car and followed Tayler to the door
he knocked on the door and wrapped his arm around my waist as the door opened
a lady in her late 40s opened the door
"hey Lisa" Tayler said smiling at her
"hey Tayler! I haven't seen you in a while how are you?" she asked him, engulfing him in a big hug
he hugged her back before they pulled away
"I'm great, what about you?" he asked
"I'm good. who's this pretty lady with you?" she said glancing at me
"this is Amelia, she's my girlfriend" he said pulling me closer to him
she smiled at me and pulled me into hug, I hugged her back
"nice to meet you Amelia" she said as we pulled away
"nice to meet you too Mrs. Hall" I replied politely
"call me Lisa please, why are you guys here? Bryce isn't here" she said
"well we're here to give you Bryce's car keys because he's spending the night with Nate" Tayler said
she took the keys from him and smiled
"thank you" she said
we smiled at her before saying goodbye and walking away
"she's really nice" I said
Tayler nodded and smiled
"yeah although she has gone through a lot" he said
"what happened?" I asked confused
"Bryce's dad, her husband, used to abuse her, but now he's in jail, and she became a really strong woman, at least she is for Bryce. Bryce is also doing everything he can to make her happy" he said
I feel bad for Bryce
at school he's always smiling and is always positive, he doesn't deserve any of this
"they deserve the best" I said
Tayler hummed in response
we arrived to the ice cream shop and walked inside
a lady who looked about 35 years was ready to serve us
"Tayler! why did you suddenly disappear?" she asked
Tayler laughed slightly
"hey D, I've been busy, but here I am, getting ice cream with my beautiful girlfriend" he said wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him
I felt my cheeks turn into a bright shade of red
he called me beautiful
"I'm Amelia" I introduced myself
she smiled at me
"I'm Diana, D for short. I've been serving your man here for 10 years, he first came here when he was 8" she said
I smiled and looked up at Tayler who was already looking at me
"so what do you guys want?" she asked
"you know what to do" he said winking at her
she smiled and started making our ice cream
"Tayler, what are you planning on doing?" I asked crossing my arms and looking at him
he just smirked and put his hands up in surrender
"nothing bad. I promise this will be the most delicious ice cream you ever taste" he said cockily
"I doubt that" I mumbled
"wanna bet?" he asked with a smirk
"okay. if I've eaten something better than this, you will have to buy me food for a week" I said
"and if you haven't you will have to do whatever I want for a whole week" he said smiling cockily
"bet" I said smirking too
"here guys. it's on me because I never thought Tayler would get a girlfriend. have fun" she said handing us our ice cream
"thank you" I said smiling at her
we walked out of the shop and sat on the bench that was facing it
"come on" Tayler challenged
I took a spoon and put it in my mouth
the whole world stopped around me
I just fell in love for the first time
I couldn't help but moan at it's taste
"so, I guess I win?" Tayler asked eating from his ice cream
"I hate to admit it, but yeah you did" I said taking another bite
"well starting from tomorrow, you're my slave" he said smirking
I chocked on my ice cream, and my eyes went wide
"you are so dirty minded Lia" he said laughing
I continued my ice cream in silence because of my embarrassment
