After two days of me running and Mordred blasting away all the pursuers we might gotten in the way as we went to very deep into a forest we finally arrived at a large forest
As we went deep enough I finally stopped as I returned to my normal form as my entire body gave in to gravity and I fell down returning to my humanoid form
"THAT WAS SICK!!"shouted Mordred as she sat on a rock to take breather meanwhile Rika already passed out
Mordred then turned to me
"What do we do now?straight to the men continent?"
I slowly sat up
"If the rumors about my mother are true then going to seek her help to end this madness is the best option"
"Well you did announce yourself as the one who killed the goddess, speaking of that,explain in detail everything that happened, don't leave a single detail behind,I want to understand everything"she said as I nodded and started to recapitulate my story
"It all began when I was shopping with my mother and got abducted while buying drinks for both of us,I got knocked out for a while and woke up in a submarine,I got dragged to the queen and found someone I used to know..."I stopped a little thinking about Sarah
But I quickly resumed
"She said that I was holding her back because she was thinking about me so she wanted me to be brought there to be used as bait for a goddess they were targeting"
Mordred's face turned into one of confusion as I continued
"They dropped us there and the goddess expectedly appeared as I hid away in the middle of the chaos,I noticed it was going after the submarine itself where I noticed an egg there so I went to fetch it but as I was bringing it back it got shot midway by another person with them,seeing this the goddess rushed towards me to hide me in her mouth and swam away from there,we reached the shore of this continent as she said she had no other choice but to pass on her genes onto me seeing as how her offspring is dead
After that the hunt on my head began,I met a family of three who helped me and gave me a place to rest in but I had to leave after the hunt on my head went public as well as a monster that gave me headaches just from being there
Thankfully I managed to get rid of it,the family then booked me a cruise back to my home city and that's where we both met for the first time"I said as she nodded again
"Swam all the way to the village you found me and rika in and ran away
And you know what happens after that"I said
She frowned
"Regretting my poor decisions probably won't do anything,we should just think of what happens forward,the way I see it we stand no chance, except from maybe talking with the other two rulers,but they're obviously all in on it"
"We already have a new destination,we need to find my mother, I'm still not really getting the black witch stuff the queen talked about but it seems like she was a real badass"
"Black witch huh?yeah I heard a few things about her"
"Really?!tell me please!!"I begged her
"You sure? it's not really pretty you know"
"My mother will always remain my mother!"I told her
"Okay fine fine"she then began to tell me what she knew
"She is apparently from a group which are called magical girls,they fight curses that slowly kill people
Not much is known about her before the incident that made her a legend amongst the few that know her
One day a giant curse or in other words,a witch appeared out of nowhere towering up to the skies,the three continents as well as all the divine gods for the first time joined forces to subdue her but even then the witch just seemingly stopped all of a sudden in the middle of the battle and turned into a giant tree full of flowers
Or that is what my father who's been there told me but it seems she survived"she explained as she turned to me to see how captured in this story I was
"This must have been awesome!I never knew my mother was this cool!!then I'm sure she'll find a way to get us out of this mess!!"I said
"You're probably right,anyways,we better look at our loot"she said as she stood up and summoned her sword
I got up as well to follow her
"You're right,it better be worth me carrying it for two days"i said as I was behind her
With one quick motion of her sword towards the front of the container she cut it open as a gauntlet appeared and she opened it
"Holy shit"
"This is definitely worth the hassle!"I rejoiced
Inside the container was an eighteen wheeler that also seemed to double as a camping van although the camping van part was separate from the driver Cart
"Let's check inside to see what's inside"
We walked narrowly to the door at the side as it was fixated in many parts of the container, maybe to avoid damage which it probably sustained on our way here
We arrived at the door which was locked
"Guess we better break in then"said Mordred preparing to punch it
"Wait!!"I shouted stopping her
"What?"
"I have a better solution,without breaking anything"I told her as I transformed into an ant again and stood there waiting for her
She looked like she was trying to understand what I wanted to do until she caught on to it
"Oh I see!"she said as she put a hand in the ground for me to get on as she then raised it near the doorknob as I got in and reverted back to human form to open it from inside
"Tadaa!"
She smiled and went inside and she instantly shouted loudly
"THIS IS SO COOL!!"
The inside looked like a tiny house with even a fridge inside and a cooking stove and bunk beds in the corner
We checked inside the fridge
"FOOD!!!"
We found all kinds of meat and vegetables as well as drinks and sodas
"JACKPOT!!"we shouted as we high fived each other
"THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED FOR A QUEEN!!"I said
Suddenly my stomach started to growl wishing for food
"Would you look at that,perfect timing"said Mordred
Later
"Wait maybe add more meat it can stop the fire!!"
"Turning down the heat is what we need right now!!"
We had failed spectacularly at cooking as there was now a raging fire on our frying pan
"SCREW IT!!"shouted Mordred as sparks started to appear around her hand
She was about to punch it when
*PSHHHHHT*
Next thing we knew we were covered in white foam
We turned around to find Rika holding a fire extinguisher as well as signaling us to get out
Which we obviously did and waited outside as she then came out holding the frying pan which she managed to salvage after our poor attempt at cooking,it was filled with pasta mixed with small quantities of meat and herbs
"Next time time you guys want to cook something,just tell me,you nearly destroyed our new vehicle on the first ten minutes of using it"she said as she also brought forks for us to use
"Thanks a lot rika! you're a life saver!"I thanked her
"Yeah yeah,anyways now that I think about it,we should probably eat inside or something,we don't want to stand out"
"Yeah,plus there would be no need for us to cover the Container since, we'll leave tomorrow"i told them
"Why not leave right now and leave the container behind?"asked Mordred
"We're too tired to even attempt to drive,not like we could anyways"i said
"Well I can drive just fine, I'm heroic spirit,and we don't need sleep"she said
"WAIT REALLY?!"shouted Rika
"Why would I lie?"
"HOLY CRAP!FIRST DIB ON BED!!"I shouted as I rushed in
"Wait we don't know how to start the truck yet!!"she shouted making me stop and groan
"UGGHH!!fine!"I shouted as I headed over to the driver seat in front of the steering wheel as I picked up a knife and bobby pin from a shelf for makeup
After twiddling a little with the two I managed to start the engine of the car
I always used to start some teachers cars and let them roll down the street at random which became useful here from what I saw
"Good,you two get some rest then while I'll drive"she said
"You know where we're going right?"
"Yeah I know the men's continent"she said
"Cool, now,Dreamworld here I come"I said as I walked back into the van area to find Rika already took the bed and was asleep
"That little..."I didn't want to argue as it would be pointless and she'll probably win anyways so I went to the seat near Mordred who accepted to have someone else there even if they would be asleep And i transformed into a cat as I turned around a little bit before falling asleep to get enough energy for the next day
Meanwhile:
In the valkyrja continent's capital was the queen in her room that was being rebuilt after the damage caused by the trio,she was visibly angry while talking on the phone
"HOW COULD YOU LOSE THEM LIKE THAT!! IT'S LITERALLY A GIANT CARRYING A CONTAINER WITH A BEAM SHOOTING KNIGHT RIDING IT!!"she then hung up the phone as someone came in,it was her secretary
"My queen,you might need to look at this,these are reading that have just come from our research facilities she said handing over an envelope which the queen opened and unveiled the papers within it
"By the gods
They're waking up"
