Part 4 - The Day Before The Big Arrival
Timeline: the past (present)
Minato's pov
"Hey! Minato, wait up!" I heard Naruto call from behind. I stopped and looked behind, he was waving his hands while running.
I saw that people were glaring at him with hatred. It always makes me wonder how Naruto could ignore all these people but whenever I ask him how.
He always says "I learned to ignore them plus they are just mourning for their friends and loved ones. they just need a place for them to take their anger out. I think I am the closest thing to whatever that killed their precious ones." He did his signature smile like he does everyday which seems to make me blush every time and also remind me of Kushina.....i guess mother like son? .
When he smiles at someone other than me, it gets my blood boiling in jealousy. Yes, I've been starting to have a crush on him since we became friends in the academy.
I know I am his father but I can't help it and I hope Kushina knows she'll always be number one but of all people i could have fallen for why did it have to be my own son! Maybe it's because his personality and the way he does things reminds me of her. I guess I'll know sooner or later.
On the other hand it seems like I'm not the only one who has feelings for Naru. Hinata Hyuga, who is shy and always blushes and faints whenever she is close to Naruto so that is how I came to that conclusion. I think she has a crush on him. But she is not my biggest concern right now but the one who is. Is that duck butt Uchiha!
That damn Uchiha, even though he is Naru's enemy and when you look into his eyes they seem dead like i mean you might as well look at a blank paper. The only reason I know he likes Naru is because he literally stares at him or sometimes glances! Anyway I just hope Naru hasn't noticed anything yet.
"Thanks for waiting!" speak of the angel. I just nodded acknowledging his presence. As he caught up to me we chatted and laughed till we made it to the front gate of the academy.
Few minutes passed and we finally made it to class but it looks like we are early because no one is here other than us and the Uchiha. Great! I wish he wasn't here!
I sat in my usual seat which was right behind Uchiha and Naruto.
Surprisingly we all had a normal chat with a few exceptions of Naru and the Uchiha fighting.
It looks like the Uchiha's eyes have stars twinkling in them, which is not the first time but it's only there whenever he looks toward Naruto because he was staring at Naruto the whole time. ...again *sign*
Hey dobe, I've been wanting to ask you something?"
"Please don't tell me he's gonna confess right now!?! No! I can't allow that! Calm down Minato! He won't confess right in front of you.....unless he is trying to show me he is his. No you can't think like that plus you have a chance that Naruto will reject him but if he does say yes I guess I have no choice but accept it but I won't give up on him yet!" I shook my head trying to get those thoughts out of my head.
"You okay Minato?" Naru asked worriedly.
I just nodded and then said "it's nothing, just continue what you were gonna ask, Uchiha." while looking at the Uchiha who just smirked at me then looked back at Naru.
Sasuke asked "why are you here so early? You usually come late because you are doing some prank." He's not wrong Naru never comes this early to school. I mean he did but he wouldn't come into the classroom or stay long either. I then looked at Naru curiously to see what he would say.
Naru said "that's a secret, this'll happen till we graduate." I wonder if he'll actually graduate this year. I mean he is the dead last of the class. But I remember that, the old man (hokage) told me he was smart and wanted Naru to join the anbu so I don't get it.
Sasuke's pov
He probably thought I was gonna confess. I mean I wouldn't mind spreading the rest of my life with the dobe, but my parents will be disappointed.
It's not like they weren't before but I will still need a next heir after me. I mean, I have been crushing on him since we basically met. And I know, I am the only one since there is that girl Hinata and this guy Minato.
Yeah I know we are rivals but I can't help it. Plus the rivalry is one sided and I'm sure he would know if he wasn't such a dobe.
I do envy and get jealous of how close Minato is with Naruto but that won't stop me from getting Naruto!
I looked at Minato with a smirk then faced Naruto who had a worried face but I didn't care as he was worried about Minato. So I just asked "why are you here so early? You usually come late because you are doing some prank or something."
he said "that's a secret, this'll happen till we graduate." I hope he will graduate this year and be on my team. But that'll be least likely since fails at every academy jutsu and tests.
"School's gonna start soon! I wish I could sleep but I can't" Naruto said with a point. I looked at him with my eyes a little wide and said "Hn" Minato said "why?" Naruto then said "it was part of the deal and not telling anyone the deal so don't even ask." I just said "hn." and Minato hummed in response.
Third pov
Naruto and Minato continued talking to each other while Sasuke just looked out the window but said 'hn' or nodded his head once in while when Minato or Naruto would ask him something and some casual fights here and there.
The classroom started to fill up more and more till the bell for the school to start. The sensei(teacher) of the class came in shortly after.
Lets just say people were surprised to see Naruto in class on time and was able to answer some things correctly. He also pretended to get a lot wrong so it won't be too suspicious.(even though they already are)
Time skip - after school (because i don't know what to write for 6/7 hours of school. Morning - reading/writing(language) break-time after break - math - lunch after lunch - history break after break - training(gym)/ throwing shuriken/kunai/ justus (basic E rank jutsu like the clone jutsu (NOT shadow clone) and transformation jutsu. I think there is one more but I don't know. Naruto did okay(failing) in training since he didn't want to show his skills.)
"Man, school is hard and boring. How the heck do you guys not fall asleep? I mean, I was so close to passing out." Naruto said/asked. Minato said "you'll get used to it as the days go by." Sasuke just said "Hn."
As the three finished getting their school stuff, Naruto asked, " Do you guys want to go to Ichiraku Ramen with me?" with a big smile. Mainato said "That's fine with me! How about you Uchiha?" while side eyeing Sasuke. Sasuke made a thinking pose.
After a minute or so Sasuke said "hn, sure I have nothing better to do today." in a low voice but still adorable. Then Naruto said "okay then let's go!" With that the other's nodded and Naruto took the lead followed by Minato and Sasuke who was right behind Minato.
As soon as Sasuke and Minato stepped out of the school they were both surrounded by fangirls and boys.
Naruto didn't even realize that the two slightly taller males weren't following him till he heard a whole bunch of people screaming, squealing, and screeching "Sasuke~kun/san!/Minato~kun/san!" behind him. Naruto whispered (more like cursed) here we go again~.
He turned around to see a whole bunch of people right behind him so he couldn't see Sasuke and Minato and also because the people in front(behind) of him were taller than him. Naruto tried to get into the crowd but failed, so he climbed a tree that he usually sits by/at/on to see where his two friends are.
After a minute or so he spotted a blonde(yellow) haired boy who looked like him(self) then he found a boy who had a ravenish haired colour boy who stood beside the blonde.
"Hey Sasuke-teme and Minato!" shouted the young Uzumaki on the swing tree trying to get the two boys who are surrounded attention. But got no response so he shouted even louder to their attention which seemed to work but everyone heard it so everyone looked in his direction. Naruto disappeared from his place onto the ground after giving them (Sasuke and Minato) signals as to which way to go.
15 or so minutes passed since Naruto had given the signs. The two boys were still crowded by fangirls and boys grips. but were still able to get out.
25 minutes passed and the boys ran out of the school and met Naruto at the ramen shop. Naruto looked behind him to see Minato and Sasuke hunching over with their heads on their knees catching their breath. Naruto chuckled a little to himself. The two boys looked up with a faint blush across their cheeks. Both thinking the same *cute*. Both shook their heads to get off their heads.
"What are you laughing at, dobe?" Sasuke yelled trying to act all mad. Naruto said "nothing!" with a big grin. "Anyway come on I already ordered you guys food, it'll be her so-" "Here's your order. One, an order of miso and tonkotsu ramen. Six types of onigiri with sliced tomatoes on the side." said Teuchi, the ramen shop owner. Teuchi set the bowls and plants down in front of Naruto who said "thank you" then Teuchi turned back after nodding his head.
Naruto passed the onigiris with sliced tomato to Sasuke who sat on the right side of him. He then passed the tonkotsu to Minato who sat on his left.
They all clapped their hands together and said "itadakimasu!"(i hope I used it at the right time and spelled it correctly but if I didn't then sorry! What I was trying to say was "thank you for the food" along those lines.) and started to eat their food.
End of Part 4 - Part 4 - The Day Before The Big Arrival - This chapter was only to show you a little bit of what is happening currently which is technically the past and the soon to be current future. The next chapter is where our first time traveler and the last rival to the party!
