To fall or not to fall? That is the question.
For many of us, our lives spiral down
along with the leaves that fall.
Some questions the beautiful array of colours;
Brown, Gold, Amber, Green, Yellow.
To fall or not to fall?
Our eyes so far from each other,
yet so close.
Leaves that fall on each other,
drowns under the cold blows.
We stay. With our arms around the branches.
Our thoughts scratches...
us...In our classes…
And we wonder
To fall or not to fall?
Rain that falls with a splish and a splash
with timbers that slowly turn to ash
signals us that its coming.
The cross road of our lives.
Where our only comfort is our knives.
That stain the beautiful colors Red
and brings our hands to dread.
But hope forms from the leaves
that fall.
And brings up the question...
To fall or not to fall?
Our memories hazy yet clear
where fog dissipates
and brings us over to the theatre
where our memories are splashed
with colors brighter than ourselves.
Memories that was shared
over a bite of caramel apples
Where our love has been declared.
Our shackles…
That came loose.
S’mores that melt on our lips
Laughs that we shared.
The warmth of the roaring
Fire
that surrounded us.
That made us whole.
The pleasure of eating s’mores.
Slowly the pictures faded
Slowly it was covered by mist.
And clouds just seem to gather,
getting ready for a storm
and we realize
We already chose
To Not Fall.
