Jennie's pov:
Friendly reminder,
If you decide to walk to the movie theater, make sure to bring a Jacket.
That pretty much summarizes my mood. Right now, I'm walking to the theatre to meet up with Rośe. I'm surprised my parents even let me go, it's 8:00 at night and it won't end until 10:00. Plus it's a school night.
They were probably just surprised that I actually made a friend and wanted me to hang out with them.
Thanks parents.
I see the lights coming from the building and just decide to sprint it.
What? It's cold...
I enter through the main doors to see Rośe standing off to the side on her phone.
I quickly take a chance to sneak up behind her.
"Hey stranger!!" I shout into her ear. She jumps up and drops her phone on the ground.
Good thing the floor is carpeted or it probably would have cracked.
"Jennie!!!" She yells at me while holding her chest.
"Yes?" I say as innocently as I can, but I end up laughing because of the state she was in.
"You scared the crap out of me." She says but ends up laughing too.
We head to the booth and decide to watch a newer movie that came out.
"Wait so what are we watching?" I ask Rośe as she hands me my ticket.
"I honestly have no idea, I just picked out a random movie."
I laugh at her as we walk to the food station.
Because the most important thing to do at a movie theatre is get food.
...
What? Did you think that the movie was the reason why you were there?
"What do you want?" She asks pulling out her purse.
"I could honestly eat anything, but I'm kinda full so nothing too big."
Yeah, my parents kinda force fed me because they said that movie snacks were way more than they should be, and that it's more reasonable just to eat at home.
They weren't wrong though, ten won for a small popcorn? Who came up with this!
After we decide just to share one popcorn, we find our seats and pick the middle row of the theatre.
"I really hope this isn't a horror movie." Rośe says from beside me.
"Wait... you didn't check if this was a horror movie or not?!"
If it is, I am straight up RUNNING out of the theatre.
"I kinda... forgot?"
I shake my head at Rośe as we focus our attention to all of the ads playing on the movie screen.
It starts to get crowded as more people pile in.
"There are sure a lot of people." I whisper to Rośe.
She nods her head as we watch more people walk in.
I turn my head back to the screen, but suddenly hear Rośe gasp from beside me.
She starts shaking my arm and points to the people who just walked in.
When my eyes adjust, I suddenly start to feel the color in my face completely drain.
Walking in were Lisa, Suzy, Jisoo, Seulgi and Ryujin.
I don't know why, but for some reason I just didn't want them to notice me.
It's not that I was embarrassed to be with them, I just didn't want them to be embarrassed to be with me.
I sink back in my seat and try my best to make my hair fall onto the side of my face.
Now I really need that jacket.
I think back to last night when me and Lisa were talking to each other across our windows, I'm a young one?
Yeah right.
I look at Rośe to see her stealing glances at the girls, more particularly Jisoo.
Oh right, she has a major crush on her.
If I were to play match maker, I could totally see those two together.
I also identified that Seulgi had a girl around her arm.
I'm pretty sure I have seen her on the Volleyball team before.
Krystal I think?
"Rośe your crush just walk -.. " but she quickly covers my mouth with her hand.
Huh, I just realized she tends to do that a lot.
"Shhh Jennie she might hear you." She says in a soft, yet strict whisper.
I hold in my giggle as the light from the big screen flashed upon her red face.
"Okay, okay sorry." I say lightly laughing at how embarrassed she got even talking about her.
I look back to see that they are about three rows behind us.
The lights of the movie theatre start to get dark as the beginning credits of the movie start to play.
And....
This....
Is....
A....
Horror...
Movie.......
Me and Rośe both gulp as we look at each other and back at the screen sinking even deeper in the seats.
We were five minutes in when I heard a series of laughing and "shhhh's" behind me. I start to hear shuffling around until a loud scream crosses the whole entire room.
But it didn't come from the movie.
"What did you do??!" I hear a woman scream.
Everyone who was at first too focused on the movie turned around to see a woman that had blue and red ice all through her hair and on the back of her shirt. She was glaring at a group of girls sitting behind her.
But those weren't just any girls.
"I have no idea what you are talking about madam." Lisa says holding back her laugh as she looks up at the girls red and blue hair.
"You spilled your icy all over me!!" She screams at her.
I can see another man, probably her boyfriend or husband try to calm her down but she pushes him away and points at Lisa.
At this point, I don't think anyone in the theatre was paying attention to the actual movie playing.
"I'm actually really offended that you think I would do that." Lisa says holding her hand over her heart.
I tend to notice that she does this a lot to try and make the other person feel bad even though she is only joking.
Suzy I guess decides to join in the conversation because she pats Lisa on the back. "Don't be sad Lisa, I don't think this mean lady meant it."
"Excuse me, we expect an apology" Jisoo says to the lady crossing her arms trying to contain hee smirk.
I knew what they were doing and I wanted to break down laughing right here, but no way am I having all the attention on me.
"But.. She.. I." The lady says at a loss of words.
When I thought she was going to apologize she did the unthinkable.
She jumped over the seat and punched Lisa!!
Everyone in the theatre gasped. I look over to Lisa to see that she looked fine. Not even a single bruise laid on het oh so perfect face.
Two security guards grabbed the back of the lady's arms and forced her out of the theatre followed by her boyfriend or husband cursing silently behind them.
After that, no one really said anything and everyone sat back down.
No one really knew what was happening though because we missed about five minutes of the movie.
It took that long to get her out because the lady was kicking and fighting back with the security guards.
"Well, that was interesting." Rośe whispers from beside me.
"It sure was." And this time, I really meant it.

Finally, after 90 minutes of torture watching the movie that made me want to shove my face in a pillow... everyone started to leave the theatre.
You know, me and Rośe leaving scarred for life.
Rośe's ride pulled up and we said goodbye to each other.
I actually called my mom to pick me up this time because there was no way I was walking out in the cold...
Again.
Though she wouldn't be here for another five minutes so I decided to just sit down and wait on my phone.
"Dude I can't believe you actually got away with that." I hear a voice say. I look over to see the girls and the Krystal girl talking to one another just standing around.
"Yeah I can't believe she punched you!" Jisoo exclaims.
I look over to see all the gitls laughing, but Krystal was just standing there with Seulgi's hand around her waist.
She seemed to be staring at something very intensely, more importantly, Lisa.
Hey I'm not stalking..
Again.
I'm just watching...
Kinda.
I decide to stand up, but that wasn't a good idea because I suddenly hear what I really didn't want to hear at all.
"JENNIE!!!!" I hear Suzy scream.
I turn around slowly to see all the girls staring right at me.
"Uh hey guys!" I say giving a little wave. They all speed walk over and in the next second they are standing right in-front of me. I look down from all the stares.
"What are you doing here?" Ryujin asks.
"You know... just hanging around" I say jokingly. I look back up to be met with the same doe eyes from last night.
"What movie did you see?" Lisa asks not breaking eye contact.
At this, I pull out a half smile, then a grin. They all look confused until I say..
"It wasn't a very interesting movie, but something happened where this idiotic group of girls decided to get a lady mad in the theatre resulting in her punching one of them and being thrown out." I say in one breath.
It takes them a second to comprehend what I said until their eyes widen.
Lisa awkwardly scratches the back of her neck, "I didn't know you were in there princess." I just laugh at this and roll my eyes.
"Yeah why didn't we see you?" Seulgi asks.
But I only shrug my shoulders.
Suddenly Krystal decides to speak up, "Who is she?"
I can see that she keeps looking between me and Lisa.
Strange.
"I'm Jennie.. who are you?" I ask ignoring how she rudely asked who I was first.
She flicks her hair off the side of her shoulder, "I'm Krystal."
Called it.
"Seulgi's newest flavor of the week." I hear Jisoo say under her breath.
I think everyone heard it except Seulgi. We all stifle a laugh while Krystal glare's at her.
She shifts her feet under her stare.
I look back at Lisa to see that she is now standing beside me.
I look at her questionably but she doesn't seem to notice.
But of course, Suzy does and she smirks.
Everyone starts to talk while I check my phone to see that my mom got stuck in traffic and that she wouldn't be here for another couple minutes. I look back up to see Krystal looking at me...
Not in the nicest way...
Buy why? I just met her and she already hates my guts.
She unwraps herself from Seulgi's hold, which she some how doesn't notice because she is talking to Jisoo and Ryujin, and she walks over to the other side of Lisa.
She doesn't say anything though, she just stands there while Suzy looks at her questionably.
"Oh guys my ride is here." Ryujin says and walks out.
"Mine too!"
"Me three!" Both Suzy and Jisoo say.
They all walk out until it's just me, Lisa, Seulgi and Krystal.
Seulgi now realizes that Krystal isn't by her and she walks over to her and slings her arm over her.
"My parents won't be here for another couple minutes baby" She says to her.
But she just hums in response.
I mumble a gross under my breath while Lisa mumbles a yuck.
We both look at each other and stifle a giggle as we both realize we said it at the same time.
Suddenly, her phone goes off and she reads it before rolling her eyes and putting it back in her pocket.
"My father can't pick me up, guess I'm walking home." She says, a little angrily and turns around.
But I quickly grab her wrist before she even takes a step.
"Hey my mom is picking me up, she can drive us home." I say to her.
She raises her eyebrows and I realize I just told her we are going to my house. " I.. I mean to your house.. you know.. since we are neighbors.. " I say looking anywhere but her face.
She laughs while saying a "Sure" the same time my mom honks her horn.
We both walk to the car and sit in the back.
She looks at Lisa questionably but I just tell her she needed a ride home.
And that... was the most awkward five minutes of my life.
And yes, I use the word awkward a lot, but if you met me, you would understand why.
"So Lisa.. how is life going?" My mom asks from the drivers seat.
I literally put my head in my hands while I hear her firing out questions.
"Um... good?" She says more like a question.
But she didn't stop there, oh no, she just kept firing them off one after another.
"Your mom?"
"She's good."
"School?"
"It's happening."
"How was the movie?"
"Entertaining."
And every question that she asked, the more I wanted to shove my face into a pillow.
We finally pull up to our neighborhood and get to where our houses are it.
And my luck, they are the farthest from the entry into the neighborhood.
We stop right in-front of Lisa's house before pulling into our garage.
Lisa opens the door and is just about to close it until she turns around and looks at me.
"See you tomorrow Jennie." She says giving me her famous smirk.
She shuts the door and my mom turns around and gives me an accusing look.
"Jennie..... "
