"Furqan" Nandini gets surprised seeing her childhood friend walk in. She hadn't seen him for almost 5 years now.
Manik looks at Nandini confused. Furqan walks in with his manager but he couldn't see Nandini as some staff members were in front of her blocking her.
Manik goes over Furqan and shakes hand with him. Furqan then sits down, as he was about to look at Nandini but the lights turn off starting the presentation. Nandini turns around and looks at the presentation.
Her and manik decided that manik was going to present everything.
Manik starts presenting the slides. He explains all the profits and everything related to the project. Furqan was really impressed looking at the slides. The presentation ends and Furqan stands up.
"Wow bohot hi acchi presentation hai I must say" Furqan says, Nandini and manik smile.
"It's a good idea ke aap logon ne positive things like profits Pehle dikhayi yeh idea kiska tha?" Furqan asks, as the lights turn back on.
"Nandini ma'am ne" the manager speaks and moves showing nandini. She looks at Furqan and smiles.
Furqan gets surprised seeing Nandini.
"Ladoooo" Furqan shouts and runs to Nandini, everyone turns and looks at him weirdly,
Furqan goes and stands in front of Nandini.
"Ladoo?" Manik whispers and looks at them weirdly.
The other staff and managers go out of the conference room leaving only Nandini manik and Furqan behind.
Furqan hugs Nandini as soon as the others leave, Nandini too hugs him back which irks and confuses manik.
"Tum dono pehle se jaante ho ek dusre ko?" Manik looks at them, both of them break their hug.
"Haan mein ladoo ko oh I mean Nandini ko bachpan se jaanta hu" Furqan says with a big smile on his face, manik nods.
"Yeh ladoo Kya hai" Manik asks him, Nandini looks at him.
"Woh that's what I call Nandini" Furqan replies
"Kyu?" Manik asks, Nandini furrows her eyebrows at manik as he was asking too many questions.
"Kyunki Nandini bachpan mein bilkul ladoo jaisi dikhti thi" Furqan laughs, Nandini slaps him playfully
"Oh bada jaisa Nandini ka bachpan dekha hai" manik mumbles under his breath
"Lekin ab toh dekho kaafi hot ho gayi hai" Furqan winks, which angers manik a little.
"Waise Tum yaha Nandini if I'm not wrong Tum hi Ho na iss company ki President?" Furqan asks Nandini
"Haan ji that's me" Nandini smiles
"Oh toh Tum mr manik ke liye kaam karti ho?" Furqan asks him
"Nandini mere liye nahi.. mere saath kaam karti hai Shayad tumhe proper introduction nahi diya gaya hai" manik looks at furqan
"She is my wife Nandini Malhotra" manik says and goes near Nandini, she looks up at him confused.
"Whattt?! Tumne shaadi karli ?" Furqan asks Nandini
"Haan...Woh Uh long story" Nandini says and looks down.
"Shit toh Mera chance ab gaya" Furqan pouts looking at Nandini as she giggles
Manik looks at Furqan and furrows his eyebrows.
"Sorry Nandini aaj toh mein yaha zyada nahi ruk sakta because I have another important meeting Lekin ab toh milte hi rahenge" Furqan says holding her hand
"Good" manik mumbles, Nandini looks at him glaring then she turns and looks at Furqan again
"Iska matlab.." A big smile started to appear on her face
"Yes yes maine decide kiya hai ki yeh deal Tum logon ko hi milegi and not because Tum Meri dost ho but I would feel very honoured to work with this company" Furqan smiles and looks at both manik and Nandini.
"Thank you Furqan" Nandini smiles, manik puts his hand out to shake his hand but Furqan ignores it taking Nandini in for a hug.
Nandini's feet automatically moved back, manik looks at them and puts his hand away.
Furqan then breaks the hug and looks at manik.
"See you mr malhotra aage ki discussions kal kar lenge" he finally shakes his hand with manik.
"Of course bye" manik says and gives a faint smile, Furqan turns and leaves.
Nandini turns and looks at manik crossing her arms together, he also turns and looks at her.
"What" manik says with a poker face
"Yeh sab Kya tha" Nandini asks him
"Kya tha" manik replies
"Meri saath kaam karti hai and she's my wife and all that" Nandini says
"Kyu Tum Meri wife nahi ho?" Manik replies sarcastically
"Do din pehle toh Itna sun rahe the ki Mein tumhe apni biwi nahi maanta yeh shaadi toh tumne mujhe takleef pcohane ke liye ki hai na" Nandini says rolling her eyes
"Abhi bhi nahi maanta Lekin duniya ke saamne you're still my wife" manik says, Nandini looks at him squinting her eyes
"Aur Waise bhi mujhe yeh Furqan theek nahi laga raha hai mujhe usse Kuch acchi vibes nahi aa rahi" manik continues
"Woh mera bachpan ka dost hai aur mein jaanti hu usse Woh accha hai tumhe toh waise kissi se acchi vibes nahi aati" Nandini answers back
"Nandini Aisa nahi hai bas mujhe Woh theek nahi laga raha" manik explains her
"Manik you know what yeh deal humko mil gayi hai that's what matters yeh sab baatein Tum socho kyunki mujhe Furqan par pura trust hai" Nandini smiles
"Trust ki baat Tum toh na karo toh acha hai" Manik rolls his eyes moving back.
"Kam se kam mujhe kissi par bharosa rakhna toh aata hai" Nandini says, manik looks at her confused.
"What" he didn't know what she was saying
"Forget it" Nandini says shaking her head, she takes her files and walks out of the conference room, manik too follows.
Nandini enters the lift, she presses number 3 and presses the doors to close but as the door was about to close but manik runs inside.
Nandini looks at him and was about to leave but the lifts door closes leaving Nandini with no choice but staying in the lift with manik.
Nandini looks at manik and both do them roll their eyes and move away from each other.
"Akdu kahi ka" Nandini mumbles under her breath
"Suna maine" manik says looking at her
"Suna na? Toh phir sudhar jao" Nandini shakes her head
"Shut up Sahi naam rakha hai maine tumhara annoying Nandini" manik says and smirks
"Aur maine bhi.. Akdu manik" Nandini rolls her eyes.
As manik was about to say something else they hear a loud noise and the lift stops with a bang.
"What the fuck" manik swears as he tries to hold on to something from not falling, Nandini grabs the handle.
"Yeh Kya hua" Nandini asks getting scared
"Shayad lift band ho gayi hai" manik says looking at her
"Ab Kya hoga" Nandini looks at him worryingly
"Kuch nahi I'll press the emergency button someone will help us" manik says, he goes and presses the emergency button.
Nandini closes her eyes tightly and clenches her fist, manik looks at her.
"Nandini... Nandini Kya hua tumhe?" Manik walks and grabs her arms which eases her out a bit.
"Mein band jagah mein zyada der nahi reh sakti mujhe.. claustrophobia hai" Nandini says taking deep breaths
"Whattt?! Tumne mujhe bataya nahi" manik says, Nandini's breathing was slightly getting heavier now
"Dont panic Nandini koi na koi humhe help karne aata hi hoga keep calm" manik holds her hand
Nandini falls on the ground, which scares and worries manik.
"Shitt Nandini" he holds her, and taps her cheeks trying to get her eyes to open
Manik then stands up banging on the lift.
"HELP! CAN ANYONE BLOODY HEAR US WE ARE INSIDE!" Manik shouts Continuously banging on the lift door.
"Sir we are trying it will take some time" Manik hears some voices
"FUCK" manik kicks the lift door.
Manik then turns looks at Nandini who was slowing closing her eyes and opening.
"Nandini please apni aankhen khuli rakho Dammit" manik holds her and puts her head on his lap. He runs her palms.
"M-manik I I can't Mujhse nahi" Nandini could not even speak not, she was finding it very difficult to breathe now.
"Okay okay relax Tum Mujhse baat karo" manik taps her trying to keep her eyes open
"K-Kya baat karu Tum.. toh mujhe... annoying bulate ho" she says trying to breath
"Haan Lekin iska Matlab yeh nahi ki Tum kabhi mujhse baat hi na karo" manik says
"Accha.. issiliye humesha.. chup karate ho mujhe" Nandini says breathing heavily, manik held her hand tightly. He had fear in his eyes.
"Lekin Aaj jab Tum theek se baat nahi kar rahi thi toh bohot bura laga Aisa laga ki bas tumhari baatein sunta rahu" manik says, Nandini opens her eyes completely for a bit and looks at him
"T-Tumne kyu uss.. kal maan liya ki... you kissed that girl.. j-just to hurt me pata hai mujhe kitna bura.. laga" Nandini says, her eyes kept closing and opening which made manik feel worried.
"I know I'm sorry" manik says, and puts his hand on her cheeks caressing it
"Manik I-i c-can't breath—" nandini starts speaking Bur stops, her hands fall on the ground and she faints completely.
"Nandini!!!" Manik shouts, he tries to move her but she doesn't wake up.
