Y/n's pov
Today we are finally filming 'Hello baby'. I'm excited that's why I woke up really early. I made breakfast for everyone and got ready.
"Y/n? Wae are you awake so early?" Hyunwoo asked as he walked in the living room
"I'm excited so I couldn't sleep more. I made breakfast" I smiled
"Ah kamsahamnida" he smiled
"Hyung do I need to wake the others up?"
"What time is it?" he looked at the watch in the kitchen
"Oh! It's 6 am already? Y/n wake them up. We must be there at 8." he added
I woke everyone up and we had breakfast. Then everyone got ready and manager hyung picked us up at 7:30.
When Beom-soo hyung came in the dorm he was with the director
"Annyeonghaseyo" he bowed.
"Oh! Annyeonghaseyo" we bowed back
"We'll start filming right away. We'll film you on your way to the apartment." he informed us
"Ah okay." Jiwoo nodded
"Please be natural." he said
"Like when you are shooting LIGHTtv." Beom-soo hyung added
"Araseo. We will" Hyunwoo said and we nodded
"Okay let's get going" the director walked out
We got ready and left. As soon as we walked out the door we saw the cameras. They had already start filming. We walked to the car.
"Do you think that we'll have a baby or toddler?" Cheng asked
"Toddler. Y/n and Minjun won't be able to take care of a baby" Jeong said
"Yah! That's not true!" we both exclaimed
"We'll see when we arrive." Hyunwoo calmed us down
"Did you bought gifts?" Jiwoo asked
"Ne but it was a bit difficult" I said
"Jinjja? Wae?" he looked at me
"Firstly, I'm not good with gifts. Secondly, I don't know the gender, the age or what they like." I explained
"Ah true. You always buy cologne or give money for our birthdays" Minjun said
We arrived at the building and headed upstairs. We are going to be filming in an apartment pretty similar with the one in the first season.
We walked in the apartment and headed in the living room. Minjun and I sat on the floor while the rest on the couch. Just then the doorbell rang.
"Huh? Is the baby here already?' I asked
"How are you so sure it's going to be a baby?" Jeong asked as Jiwoo went to the door
"I'm not. It's just too much to say 'baby or toddler' so I say baby since we are in 'Hello baby'." I explained
Jiwoo walked in the living room with a woman. We all got up.
"Annyeonghaseyo" we bowed
"Annyeonghaseyo. I'm here to teach you some basic things about babies and how you'll take care of them." she explained
She sat on the floor and we sat back down.
"I want to see how much you know so I'll ask some questions" we nodded to show her we understand
"When can you start giving your baby solid food?" was the first question
"When they have teeth!" Jeong exclaimed
"6 months old?" I said
"It is recommended that you are exclusively breast feeding for the first 6 months." she nodded
"By the age of 6 months most babies are ready to begin eating solid food as a complement to breastfeeding or formula feeding" she explained
"Yes!" I smiled
"You are technically both right. Most babies start teething at around 6 months" she added
"Ha!" Jeong said
"Okay now a multiple choice question. The skill that the baby develop the earliest is... 1.it can raise it's chest, 2.can control it's neck movement or 3.the baby can crawl."
We all started thinking.
"Oh!" I raised my hand
"The baby can control it's neck movement" I answered
"Correct!" she nodded
"How you knew that?" Minjun asked
"It was a question in season 1" I smiled
"Next question. At which position do a baby's first teeth grow?"
"Oh the two bottom front teeth" Hyunwoo answered
"Correct" the lady nodded
"Honestly I didn't expect you to know these three questions." she confessed
"We didn't expect it either" Cheng said and we laughed
"I have three dolls for you to practice with. Who is going to use them?" she asked
"Are we practising diaper change?" Jiwoo asked
"Among other things" she nodded
"Then let's have the three youngest do it" Jeong suggested
"Ne." Hyunwoo nodded
"I agree" Jiwoo said
"Okay let's start then" she gave us the dolls
She first showed us how to change a diaper and then an exercise for the legs. After that we exercised in massaging the legs of the baby.
Now it was time to learn how to feed the baby. It was time for Hyunwoo, Jiwoo and Jeong to practice.
"This isn't so hard" Jeong commented
"Ne. Just make sure that the temperature is okay for the baby" the lady said
"If Jeong hyung make the milk, the baby will get burned" Minjun teased
"Yah! I'm not like that" Jeong glared at him
"Sure hyung" I patted his back
"Now I'll instruct you on how you'll feed the baby" the lady stopped us
They did what the lady was showing us.
Time skip when the baby arrives
We are sitting in the living room just talking about what we learned. The doorbell rang and Minjun got up to answer. He walked to the door and we waited anxiously.
A few moments later he came in with a baby boy and his parents.
"Annyeonghaseyo" they greeted us
"Annyeonghaseyo" we smiled
"This is Jun-seo. He is 11 months old. We thought that this will be a good experience. He needs to meet new people." the mother explained
"Aw he is so cute. I promise that we'll take good care of him" I smiled
"Kamsahamnida" they smiled back
"This is his baby diary. Everything you need to know is here." the father handed it to Hyunwoo
"Ah araseo. Kamsahamnida" Hyunwoo bowed
"We'll get going now. Bye" they waved goodbye to Jun-seo and left.
As soon as they left, Jun-seo starred crying. Minjun passed him to the person closest to him, Jeong.
"Hyung he is all yours" Minjun said
"Huh? Sh..." Jeong held him awkwardly and tried to calm him down
"Wae is he crying? Does his diaper needs to be changed?" Cheong asked
"Ani." Hyunwoo checked
"It's probably because his parents left and he is with unfamiliar people" Jiwoo suggested
"How do we make him stop?" Jeong looked at him
Jiwoo shrugged in response
"Y/n you like babies so here you go" Jeong gave the baby to me
"Oh! Annyeonghaseyo Jun-seo." I offered him a friendly smile
He looked at me and started calming down.
"How did you do that?" Jeong looked at me
"...I don't know. I just was friendly" I answered
"So he likes friendliness.... that's actually reasonable" Jiwoo nodded
"Let's put him down to play." Hyunwoo suggested
We all sat on the floor and I left Jun-seo down. Hyunwoo and Jiwoo grabbed some toys and brought them to the middle.
"Oh look at this. It's a maraca" I grabbed it and started playing
The baby looked at it curiously and stood up. I offered it to him and he started shaking it.
"Oh. He's smart!" Jeong exclaimed
"Of course. He's our child" Minjun said
"What modesty..." Cheng said ironically
"Where's the baby diary?" I looked at Jiwoo
"Oh here" Hyunwoo passed it to me
"Gomawo" I started reading through it
Time skip half an hour later
I was reading the baby diary while my members were playing with the baby. Jiwoo walked in the kitchen.
"Guys we need to go grocery shopping." he come back in the living room
"Huh? What do we need?" I looked up from the diary
"Food for us, diapers and baby food." he answered
"Who's going?" Jeong asked
"Let's play Rock paper scissors." Minjun suggested
"Alright. If you lose you go out. Two people need to go." Jiwoo explained
We played. For the first two times, no one was out. Then I lost. After me Jeong was the one that lost so we were the shopping team.
We left and walked to a nearby store. Of course we had a camera filming us.
We arrived at the store and started looking for what we needed.
"Ah let's buy fruits. I think it'll be good for Jun-seo." Jeong suggested
"Good idea hyung. Just make sure it's something he can eat easily" I said
"Araseo....hm ...what about banana?" he looked at me
"Ne. This must be easy enough for him" I nodded
We kept looking for what we need.
Cheng's pov
A couple of minutes after Y/n and Jeong left, Jun-seo started crying. I picked him up and tried to calm him.
"Wae is he crying again?" Minjun asked
"No idea...check if he needs a diaper change" Hyunwoo said
I checked and he was fine. I looked at my hyung.
"His diaper is fine" I informed him
"Oh let's check the diary" Jiwoo grabbed it and started reading
I walked around in the living room with Jun-seo in my arms trying to calm him down. Then we heard the doorbell.
"Huh? Who could it be?" Hyunwoo wondered
"Maybe a neighbour came to complain about the noise" Minjun joked
"Hyunwoo hyung please answer the door" Jiwoo calmly said
Hyunwoo walked to the door. We listened carefully while Jun-seo kept crying. Hyunwoo walked in with someone following.
"Oh wae are you crying little guy?" Han Chae-young walked in the living room
"Oh! Annyeonghaseyo" we bowed
"Annyeonghaseyo" she smiled
"Wae is he crying?" she asked
"We don't know." Jiwoo answered honestly
"We checked his diaper but it's okay" Minjun added
"May I?" she looked at me
"Oh ne." I nodded and passed Jun-seo to her.
She held him gently and he calmed down but not completely.
"We should have kept Y/n hyung here" Minjun shook his head
"He must be hungry." Han Chae-young said
"Oh! We have some blueberries that we can give him. We've sent two of our members to buy baby food" Hyunwoo suggested
"Blueberries should do. They are soft" Han Chae-young walked in the kitchen with Hyunwoo
Y/n's pov
Jeong and I walked in the apartment with the groceries.
"We are here!" Jeong informed our members and Minjun came to help us
I took what I was holding in the kitchen. I was surprised to see Han Chae-young holding a crying Jun-seo.
"A-Annyeonghaseyo" I bowed to her
"Annyeonghaseyo" she smiled
"Wae is he crying?" I asked
"He must be hungry so we'll give him some blueberries." Hyunwoo informed me
"Huh? Blueberries? Ani ani." I took the blueberries away
"He doesn't like blueberries" I explained
"Jinjja? How do you know?" he looked at me surprised.
"I read it in the baby diary." I explained
"It's good that you read it" Han Chae-young said
I smiled at her.
"Noona, are you the daily umma?" I asked politely
"Ne. Shall we make some baby food?" she smiled
"I'll prepare it" Hyunwoo offered and started making the food while I put everything away
Jun-seo kept crying. I smiled at him and played with the maraca from earlier so he'll get distracted.
It worked. He looked at it and extended his hand to grab it. I gave the maraca to him and smiled while he played.
"...it was so easy?" Cheng looked at me
"Wait... you didn't try to distract him?" Han Chae-young looked at the others
"Ani. We didn't thought about that" Jiwoo scratched his head
"It's ready" Hyunwoo came with the baby food
"Who's feeding him?" I asked
"I will" Jeong offered
"Huh? Hyung gwaenchana?" Minjun and I asked immediately
"What? Ne. Wae are you asking all of a sudden?" he looked confused
"You offered to do something about the baby... " Minjun explained
"Yah! You are making me sound like I hate babies." he glared at us
"Ani. You don't hate kids. You hate offering to do things. You never offer" I said
"... true" he nodded
He took Jun-seo and walked to the couch. He sat down and Minjun sat beside him holding the plate with the food.
"Wait." Jiwoo stopped him from feeding the baby.
Jiwoo grabbed his gift and opened it. He took out of the bag a red bib.
"Let me put this on him" he put the bib on Jun-seo and Jeong started feeding him
"Nice gift hyung" I smiled
"You do well Jeong" Han Chae-young complimented him
"Noona when did you come?" I asked
"Ah, just a couple of minutes ago" she answered
"She rang the doorbell when Jun-seo was crying loudly, so I thought that a neighbor came to complain" Minjun shared with us
"Jinjja?!" both Han Chae-young and I exclaimed and started laughing
"Ne" he nodded
Jun-seo yawned and we all looked at him.
"He is sleepy. I'll put him to sleep" I smiled
"Okay. Here you go" Jeong took the bib off him and gave him to me
I smiled as I held Jun-seo and walked in the bedroom. Han Chae-young came with me. Of course everything were getting recorded. I walked around in the room singing to him a lullaby. He fell asleep quickly. I put him in the crib
"That was quick. Did you read this in the baby diary as well?" Han Chae-young whispered
"Ne. That's how you get him to sleep" I nodded as we walked out of the room..
"What do we do while Jun-seo is asleep?" Minjun asked
"Wae don't you read the baby's diary and look up games that you and Jun-seo can play?" Han Chae-young suggested
"Good idea. While you do that I'll cook" Jiwoo said
"I'll help you" Han Chae-young walked in the kitchen with him
I sat down and looked up games on the internet.
"Is it really that easy to make him fall asleep?" Cheng wondered loudly while he read the diary
"Ne. It worked like a charm" I smiled
"That's good. At least we won't have a problem with it." Minjun smiled
"Ne." I nodded
"I got it! Let's take him to the park." Jeong said out of nowhere
"Huh? The park? Do you think that he'll like it?" I asked.
"We'll know only if we try." he shrugged
"True" Hyunwoo nodded
"Okay then let's go to the park when he wake up." we all agreed.
Time skip an hour later
Minjun went to check on Jun-seo while we prepared snacks to take with us to the park.
"Look who's awake?" Minjun said while he walked out of the bedroom with Jun-seo in his arms.
"Hey there little guy" Hyunwoo smiled at him
Jun-seo pushed Minjun's head lightly to show us that he wants to be left on the floor. Minjun left him down and he slowly started walking towards the toys with Hyunwoo's assistance.
"Jun-seo we'll go to the park. Do you like the park?" I kneeled next to him
He looked at me and then back to him games.
"He isn't interested" Cheng said
Then Jun-seo turned to me and gave me a maraca.
"Oh! Do you want me to play maraca for you?" I started playing with the maraca
He lost interest as soon as Jiwoo and Han Chae-young walked in with the food we'll get with us.
"He seems interested in food" Minjun said
"Who isn't interested in food?" I commented
"Shall we get going?" Han Chae-young asked
"Ne" we all nodded
"Ah! Noona is it okay for him to wear shoes?" I looked at her
"Since he is walking, ne" she nodded
"Perfect!" I smiled and grabbed my gift
I opened the gift and took out of the box a pair of black unisex baby shoes.
"Huh? Wae you never buy us this kind of gift?" Jeong asked me
"Mianhae hyung. I'm bad at choosing gifts" I gave him an apologetic smile
"Then who chose this?" Cheng pointed at the shoes as I was putting then on Jun-seo
"Chaeyoung sunbaenim." I answered
"Okay ready to go" I got up with Jun-seo in my arms
Time skip to the park
We arrived at the park. I had Jun-seo in my arms. He looked around and got excited.
"He likes it" I smiled
"Put him down so we can play" Hyunwoo said
"What are we playing?" Minjun asked as Jun-seo was interested in the grass
"Let's try my gift. This ball." Hyunwoo showed us a soft ball for babies
"Okay. Pass the ball softly to Jun-seo" Han Chae-young kneeled behind him to support him as he stands up
Hyunwoo passed the ball to Jun-seo and he immediately pushed it back with his hands.
"That will do" I sat down to play with my hands too
Jun-seo was giggling all the time as the ball went from my members to him. I took some pics and videos.
Time skip two hours later
"Let's do a love test" Jeong suggested
"Huh? Love test?" Cheng and I looked at him
"Ne. Jun-seo will stay here with Han Chae-young noona and we'll stand over there" he pointed a few meters away
"And we'll try to make him come to us" he added
"Araseo" we both nodded and walked were he pointed
The rest joined us.
"Jun-seo come here" everyone shouted
He turned around and held on Han Chae-young tightly. We laughed
"He likes Han Chae-young noona more than us" Minjun commented
"What did you expect? Even I like her more than us." I said and they laughed
"Go to your favourite appa" Han Chae-young told Jun-seo softly
He looked at us and started crawling unsure of where to go. I sat down on the grass and opened my hands widely.
"Jun-seo I want a hug" I smiled
He crawled to me. He stopped and looked at me
"Hug?" I I smiled softly
He put his hands up to show that he wants to be carried. I picked him up and kissed his forehead. He giggled and laid his head on my shoulder.
"It seems he got tired" Han Chae-young smiled as she walked to us
"Wae did he choose Y/n? I'm the one that gave him food" Jeong asked
"Maybe because we all were standing but Y/n sat down." Jiwoo suggested
"Or because they both like Han Chae-young noona" Cheng teased
"Yah!" I glared at him while Han Chae-young was giggling
"Okay let's go back home" Hyunwoo picked up our things
Time skip later at home
Jun-seo fell asleep 10 minutes ago while he was playing. He literally slept on the floor. I took him in his crib and returned in the living room.
"Okay, it's time for me to go. It was a pleasure to meet you all" she smiled at us
"The pleasure was ours" Jiwoo said
"Kamsahamnida" Minjun and I bowed to her
"Wae?" she got confused
"For being the daily umma and helping us" Minjun explained
"Ah it's nothing." she patted our shoulders
"Goodbye" she waved as she left
"Goodbye" we waved back
We sat down and then a toy cyclist came towards us with an envelope. Minjun picked it up and read it loudly.
"It's time to reveal the best and the worst appa" we all looked at the screen in front of us
A video of Han Chae-young started playing.
"Best appa is ....hm ...Y/n. He surprised me by being so responsible. He connected well with the baby and took care of him. Now for worst appa....hmm... I'll choose Minjun because I didn't see him spending a lot of time with the baby. I think he needs to get more comfortable with the idea of being in charge of a baby. LIGHT fighting!" she smiled at the camera
"I'm best appa!!!!" I got up and started jumping
"Yah! Sit down you'll wake him up." Cheng said
"Mianhae" I sat down
"....I actually was expecting that." Minjun admitted
"Him being best appa or you being worse?" Jeong asked
"Both" Minjun answered
Time skip the next day
I was sitting in the living room watching TV.
"Huh? Wae are you awake so early?" Hyunwoo walked in the living room
"Good morning hyung. I got up so I can get ready but I started watching TV instead" I explained
"Ready? We have a schedule?" he was trying to remember
"Ani. I'm hanging out with Nayeon sunbaenim" I explained
"Ah then go get ready. I'll make you breakfast" he smiled
"Gomawo hyung" I smiled
I went to the bathroom for a quick shower and then wore my clothes. When I got in the kitchen Hyunwoo was making the table.
"Do you need help?" I asked him
"Ani. Just sit and eat" he smiled
I sat down and he sat beside me. We started eating. Then my phone rang.
"Y/n"
"Jeongyeon"
"Ne?"
"Good morning. How are you?"
"I'm good noona. What about you?"
"I'm good as well. Since we both have free schedules, what do you say about building my newest Lego set?"
"Oh?! I would love to but unfortunately I can't. I'm hanging out with Nayeon noona today."
"You are? Just the two of you?" she was surprised
"Ne. We'll meet at 11 am"
"Araseo. Have fun."
"Thank you"
Jeongyeon's pov
I put my phone down and look at Nayeon.
"Won't you start getting ready? You'll be late" I said to her
"Huh? Late? You have a schedule?" Jihyo asked
"Ani. She'll meet Y/n." I explained
"How do you know that?" Nayeon was surprised
"I just called him to build some Legos but he refused because you two are hanging out" I answered
"Huh? Who's hanging out?" Sana walked in
"Nayeon unnie and Y/n" Jihyo answered
"Just the two of you?" Sana looked at Nayeon and she nodded
"Araseo. Let's get you ready" Sana smiled and pulled her in their room
"Are you coming?" she asked us
We all gathered in their room.
"Wae are you all here? I can choose what to wear alone you know" Nayeon looked at her clothes
"Ne but we can help." Chaeyoung said as she looked at the clothes
"So when did he finally asked you on a date?" Momo asked
"He didn't." Nayeon said
"Oh! Unnie did you ask him on a date?" Tzuyu said
"It's not a date. We are just hanging out. That's all." Nayeon denied
"Then wae just you two?" Mina raised an eyebrow
"Because we always hang out all together." Nayeon answered
"Unnie you have an answer for everything don't you?" Dahyun shook her head
"Wait... I just realised... Sana do you want Nayeon and Y/n together?" I looked at her and she giggled
"Wae do you think that?" Sana asked
"As soon as you heard they are going out you pulled her here to help her get ready" I explained
"Ah ne. If they want to be together, I'll help them but it's not like I'm rooting for her." Sana explained
"Mianhae unnie" she added as she looked at Nayeon
"Don't worry." Nayeon didn't even looked up from her clothes
Time skip at the meeting time
Y/n's pov
I arrived at JYPE at 10:50 and waited at the lobby for Nayeon. She arrived shortly after.
"Annyeonghaseyo" she greeted me smiling
"Annyeonghaseyo noona" I blushed as she hugged me
"Any idea about what to do?" she asked
"Ehm... Do you think we can go to the arcade?" I wondered
"Afraid of scandals?" she smiled and I nodded
"I think it'll be okay. We'll wear our disguises" she said
"Perfect!" I smiled
We walked to a arcade that we went as trainees.
"What do you want to play?" I asked her
"Hm... the one with the basketballs" she walked towards it
"Competition?" I looked at her
"Sure. The loser pays for lunch" she said
We put coins in the two machines and we started the game. I was more focused looking at her and how she's doing than scoring so I lost.
"Ha! You are paying for lunch" she laughed
"Are you girls determined to make me broke?" I shook my head
"Ah ne. Sana said that you are going to treat all of us." Nayeon looked at me
"You see? After that I'll be broke" she laughed softly
"Let's play a shooting game." she suggested
"Oh good idea" I nodded
Time skip two hours later
"Okay this was fun but I'm getting hungry" I said
"Okay. Where are we going to eat?" Nayeon asked
"You choose."
"Hm....okay let's go to the restaurant you go with Sana" she said as we got out of the arcade
Thankfully the restaurant isn't far away. Just 5 minutes walk from the arcade. We arrived and requested a table at the far end of the restaurant. As soon as we sat down we started looking through the menu and made our order.
"Noona, how come you asked me to hang out just the two of us?" I asked
"Well I thought that we haven't done this in a long time." she smiled
"That's true." I nodded
"...Y/n now that we are alone....do you like Ningning?" Nayeon asked
I looked at her surprised.
"I told you noona. No. I don't like her like that." I denied
"Yet" she said and I looked at her
"You don't like her like that, yet. In the future you might will. Right?"
"Well I can't say no because I don't know."
"What about Lia or Solar?" she was curious
"Huh? What about them?"
"Do you like them like that?" she asked
"Ani. Noona wae this sudden interest in my non-existent love life?"
"I'm asking because I care about you. What did you think?" she said
"Eh? Nothing. It's just weird. I never expected you to ask about them" I scratched my head
Our food arrived and we started eating.
"...what about Irene?" she looked at me while she was eating
"You know that I haven't interact with her so much." I continued eating
"Ne but your behaviour around her was weird." she drunk from her water
"I'm a fan. How would you react in that situation if IU sunbaenim or Taeyeon sunbaenim was infront of you?"
"Fair enough" she nodded
We continued eating in peace for a bit.
"Noona, did Sana noona made you ask me?" I asked
"Sana? Ani. She didn't even know we are hanging out until you told Jeongyeon" she shook her head
"Huh? You didn't tell anyone?" I was surprised
"I forgot to" she giggled and I smiled
"Now my turn. What about you? Interested in someone?" I asked
I felt a bit uneasy waiting for her answer but I'm not sure why.
"Ani. Wouldn't you expect that as the oldest I would be the first one to have a relationship after the dating ban?" she joked and I laughed a bit
"Maybe it's because you are the fake maknae" I teased
"So that's how you want to play... 'JYP's baby'?" she raised an eyebrow
"... actually I can't find anything to say" I scratched my head and she laughed
"Anyway, tell me about yesterday's shooting. How was it?" she said
"If I tell you, you won't see the episode."
"Ani. I promise you that I will" she smiled
"Hm...okay. So we had a daily umma and she chose me as best appa." I smiled proudly
"Jinjja? Congratulations."
"Kamsahamnida"
"Nayeon? Annyeonghaseyo" I looked at the person that greeted Nayeon
I was shocked because GFRIEND's Sowon was standing in front of me.
"Oh annyeonghaseyo" Nayeon smiled and got up to greet her with a hug.
"Let me introduce you to Y/n. Y/n this is Sowon" Nayeon said
I immediately got up and bowed respectfully.
"Annyeonghaseyo sunbaenim"
"Please. No need to be so formal" she smiled
"Mianhae. I probably ruined your date but we saw you and thought that we need to inform you" she motioned us to sit down and she sat down as well
"Inform us about what?" Nayeon asked
"When we got out of the car, we noticed paparazzi around." she said
"Oh? Kamsahamnida." Nayeon said
"Noona what do we do?" I asked
"Hm...we need to find a way to leave." Nayeon started thinking
"Until then, we can sit all together. If we are a lot then they can't say this is a date" Sowon suggested
"Just for the record, this isn't a date." Nayeon informed her
"Noona how many more seats we need?" I asked Sowon
"We'll be 8 people." she answered
"Araseo. I'm going to see what we can do." I got up and walked away
Nayeon's pov
"Nayeon mianhae. Your date is ruined." Sowon said
"As I said, this isn't a date. We are just hanging out." I told her
"Ah okay. Oh! Let's call the others." she took out her phone
She called her members while two waiters moved us to a bigger table.
Soon they came in and I hugged all of them. They sat down and ordered.
"So who's your date unnie?" SinB asked
