I grabbed the seat and sat it in the back helping Faye close the door and putting Layla in
I went over to my door next

We pulled up at this seafood spot Layla told me yesterday at the ice cream place that she loves seafood
I helped them out of the car a couple of people spoke to me and some niggas eyed Faye
We sat down and got our drinks

She giggled taking a drink of her juice

I walked them to her door

She tickled her and they laughed together and Layla ran inside

Layla- we get our nails done mommy
Me- yeah baby let me grab my purse
I felt my phone vibrate once I hit my room
Dave and I talk every day he does not miss a beat and you know Layla ass don't she say call Dave 24/7. We are so comfortable with each other
I pulled my phone out seeing Dave name flashed across the screen asking Facetime

I heard Layla squealing so I knew she saw Dave
I walked down the stairs smiling when I saw Dave I lowkey missed him it's been a few days

Dave- you got an appointment mama
Me- yeah it's at 4:30 pm
Dave- Alright let's grab some slushies and we can roll
Layla- Dave can you come to see me after Daycare tomorrow
It's no stopping their relationship and I don't want to stand in the way especially if Dave and I are going with the flow
Dave- yeah ill pick mommy up and well come get you
She smiled so hard and held her fist out for him to dap it and he did
We got some slushies and went to the nail shop
The girls gawked at Dave and some whispered because he sat right next to me and Layla

He looked through them

He went to talk to one of the workers who did my feet nah that's why I already paid
Dave walked back smiling

We finished and of course, Dave feed us
We pulled up at my house and I did not want him to leave

We hugged for a long time
Me- stay and watch a movie with us
Dave- I gotta handle some business but if you still woke I'll swing by mama
I poked my lip out and he wiped down his face leaning against my door frame
He don't be wanting to leave me he says it all the time especially when Layla make that sad face as he calls it
Dave- don't do this to me
Me- Alright but come back promise

He left and I went inside seeing Layla standing there
Me- he said he'll try to see us later okay let's go get ready for your bath
I washed her up and did her hair

We cuddled and watched a movie

It turned 11 pm and Layla would not go to sleep

He handed me two sets of flowers for Layla and me and I put them in water
Me- Thank you, for a minute I did think that, Layla won't go to sleep

He walked up and she jumped up
Dave- let me put you in bed I'll see you tomorrow
She made her sad face

He tucked her in kissing her forehead
Me- you wanna watch a movie

Me- we laid on the couch
Dave is always so respectful and understanding I don't even know if he messing with other girls but it's not my place

We finished the movie and he was about to leave

And we walked to my room
He put his chains and gun on my dresser leaving him in he underwear
Oh that's how he coming
He smirked seeing what I was looking at
He got in my bed and we cuddled falling asleep
