"Who is that?" Dejá asked
"His name Karti I'm tutoring him he took me to the store helped me bring the bags in and just kinda stayed" she nodded
"He keep calling me best friend too" she laughed
"Why y'all laughing?" Karti asked eating the last of his food

"No I didn't bitch don't lie!" She mugged me
"So you didn't just say he was fine and you wanted him t- girl fuck up" she said
"How old you is?" Karti licked his lips
"She 15 finna be 16 next week" I said

"That ain't even young" I said
"Why is you Tryna play match maker like I really want him?" She asked me making me shrug
"Anyways I'm finna leave give me a hug best!" He stood up rubbing his stomach
"Mhm here" I handed him a plate of leftovers cause me and Dejá were most likely not going to eat it
"Thank you" he gave me a side hug I nodded locking the door behind him
"I'm finna take a shower" I told her going in my room
I did that then we went to sleep
Two weeks later...
"Best" Karti walked up to me sitting down at my table
These past few weeks we been with each other basically every day we've gotten close I guess
"I wanna be alone right now" I told him putting my head back on my knees
"Why what's wrong?" People started coming over to us cause he was over there making me huff and get up
He followed me "come on!" He said pulling me out door
"What?" Asked
"What's wrong?"
"I'm not having a good day" I frowned as my heart started hurting
"You wanna skip and smoke?" I nodded.
We went in his car and I started rolling up
"You wanna talk about it?"
"I ran out of my medicine four days ago and don't got enough money for another script, so I just been kinda off" I huffed
"Whatchu take medicine for?"
"My depression,ptsd, anxiety and mood swings" I said fiddling with my fingers passing to him
He nodded not pressing it "you hungry?"
"No just sleepy" I said
"You wanna sleep at my house?"
"I guess"
"Can I do anything to make you feel better?" He asked
"No thanks for asking" I said he nodded
I got out the car and followed him in the building
My medicine was officially kicking out of my system completely so I'm very slouchy and slow kinda like I'm high on heroine for example
I'm not uppity I'm just relaxed but too relaxed and my suicidal thoughts are off the radar
"FUCK YOU BITCH ASS NIGGA!" Taipan yelled then hung up the phone as we walked in
"Hey" he smiled like nothing happened

"I gotta throw up" I said
"Here" Karti handed me a trashcan and helped me sit down
I started throwing up till I was done
"It's a extra tooth brush in the second left drawer if you want a shower there's towels in the closet" he handed me some clothes then pointed to the bathroom
"Thank you" I walked in the bathroom and took as shower then fell asleep under Karti I was actually comfortable under him
My sleep wasn't peaceful but it wasn't uncomfortable
"Lay get up you having a nightmare" Karti woke me up
"My bad" I sat up and grabbed my phone
"I'm finna go to the store real quick you need sum?"
"Nah in Finna go back to sleep." He nodded I laid back down trying to go to sleep but my nightmare played over and over again
It was flashbacks of my mom and her boyfriend beating my ass cause I came back from my dads house too happy then she let her boyfriend "have fun!" With me
I looked at my arms looking at my cigarette burns
"Karti" taipan came in the room
"My fau- you good?" He looked at my concerned
"Yes can you go?" I turned on my stomach and buried my face in kartis pillow
I heard the door close making me make a little nose I cry silently in front of people
I'm still scared someone will hit me for crying out loud
I felt the bed dip making me look up to see Taipan sitting next to me
I thought he left...
"Don't get quite again let that shit out" he told me rubbing my back in a soothing manner
"Get out" I bit my lip
"When you start paying bills here I will"
I huffed "if you wanna talk about it I'm here but right now you need to cry just let that shit out Ian gon judge you I'm just tryna comfort you!" I put my hands in my lap and started crying Hard as fuck
I laid across his lap not even caring anymore I don't get to have moments like this I barely cry my medicine makes me come out of contact with my emotions
Plus I have to take care of Dejá ion really have time to cry
"Awww" I heard taipan lowly say rubbing my back
"Let it out it ain't go good keeping it in" he told me
I had a whole mental breakdown then just laid there quiet
Taipan was quiet too I guess cause he didn't know what to say
"Are you ok?" He asked
"No I will be tho" I said trying to convince myself more than anyone else
"You wanna talk or anything?"
"No I just want a hug" he rapped his arms around me I pouted trying not to cry again
I hugged back and we just hugged for a while it felt nice having someone just comfort me besides Dejá
Dejá used to comfort me but she haves her own problems so I try not to stress her out with mine
"Thank you" my lip quivered he nodded standing up
"If you need sum I'm in my room" I nodded he left and Karti came in
"Y'all just fucked in my room?" Karti asked
"No tf" I mugged him
"My fault just asking y'all barely talk to each other"
"That's cause I speak when spoken to" I said he looked at me

"Why was you crying?"
"Flashbacks" he nodded
"Yes I'm good your brother comforted me" I said laying my head back
"Well one these are for you!" Karti handed me some flowers
"Awww thank you and they're not roses" I smiled smelling them
"Why you get these?" I looked up from the flowers
"Cause you ain't feeling good duh!" He said
"So we finna study for this test in a few days you gon go take a bath I got you bath salts then we gon have a movie night!" He said I nodded as he got the papers
I helped him study then he ran me a bath
"Why you being nice?" I asked him
"Cause hopefully it'll cheer you up ion like seeing my bestfriend like this" he said
"I bought you some clothes for over here too it's just sun slight huh" he handed me a bag
He just did more for me than my actual caretaker has
"Thank you" he nodded leaving
I felt better after my bath "you good in there?" Karti check on me
"Yea" i slipped some biker short on and laughed to myself
"Karti" I came out the bathroom with biker shorts and a sports bra
"You must think my ass ain't fat or sum" I turned around showing the tight ass biker shorts
"Well you always wearing baggy clothes" he said
I rolled my eyes grabbing some of his stretchy drawers out his draw
He's skinny asf so it works perfect
"I shall return" I went back in the bathroom taking the shorts and panties off
I slipped his drawers on then grabbed all my shit leaving
"It's a party this weekend you wanna come?" He asked me
"Ion got shit to wear" I said
"Mcht I'll take you shopping or have Riya take you" he said
"Ion got money for clothes"
"That's why I'm gonna pay for it duh!" He said in a duh tone grabbing a tray of a whole bunch of freshly rolled blunts and woods
"You wanna have it in here or the movie room?"
"Movie room" I grabbed a over sized shit putting it on
He handed me the tray then grabbed some bags on the floor
I followed him cause this fucking penthouse is big
"Here" he handed me three bags I looked and they were all filled with snacks
He handed three his self and grabbed the remote
"Awww thank you" I smiled

"Whatever I wanna watch?" He nodded
"Ight a scary movie, princess and the frog and all the twilights" I smiled he nodded putting sinister on we both lit a blunt and smoked while watching it
In the middle of the movie Taipan came in the room
"My fault Ian know y'all was in here" he said closing the door
He sat next to me and laid back taking some of my blanket
"Move" I told him cause it was more blanket
"I can't share blankets with you?" I shook my head no
"See I knew you liked me" he patted my head like I'm a dog
"Just don't touch me please" I scooted over a little passing to him...
"That shit was ass" Karti said putting princess and the frog on
"Mcht why we watching this?" Taipan asked
"I wanna watch it hush" I said eating some snacks
"Lemme get some" he licked his lips

"No" he shrugged taking some of my chips stuffing them in his mouth
"You can have them!" I huffed giving them to him cause I hate when people touch my food before I do

We were currently watching eclipse and high asf
"Can I lay my head on you?" Taipan asked
I nodded he laid his head on my lap it wasn't uncomfortable or anything
"Damn how many more is their?" Taipan asked
"Boy this is breaking dawn part 1 after that it's part 2 then that's it" he nodded eating
"That's how ima do you" he said low enough for only us to hear cause Edward broke the bed,

I played with his hair he passed me a wood and laid his whole body under the cover meaning he was laying on my bare lap
"Youn got nun on under this?" He asked looking at my shirt

"Why can't I feel nothing then?" He asked
"Mcht get up" I told him he got up making me stand up and pull the drawers down then pull the shirt up
"Oh" he stared at my ass
"Take me to the bathroom" I told him

"Cause ima get lost I only know he front of the house and the way to Karti room" I said he rolled his eyes standing up
"It's hella late" he said I nodded he opened the door for me then closed it
I used the bathroom and washed my hands then we went back to the movie room
"Karti finna go to sleep" I laughed looking at him
He laughed and laid his head on my lap again but laying on his back this time
He just looked at me as I played with his curls
"Can I help you?" I mugged him
"So Youn think I'm fine?" He asked licking his lips smirking
"I never said you wasnt" I shrugged
"Do you think I'm fine?" I nodded
"That don't mean I like you or wanna fuck you tho I barely know you one two I wanna date somebody you wanna fuck me I can't do that, some shit like that would fuck with my mental even more there's my final answer" I said
"Ok so friends?" He asked I nodded

We smoked again watching the rest of this one we finally Then turned pt 2 on falling asleep in the middle of the movie
I woke up sweating laying on someone's chest,
feeling someone's arms wrapped around me
I saw it was Taipan making me roll my eyes getting up
"No" he mumbled
"Mcht bro Lemme get up"
He let go and got up I yawned stretching out I felt him stare at my ass
"It's not even that big Fr" I spoke
"Tf it ain't" he said pulling my shorts down

"Bro y'all gon piss me off!" I went in the kitchen and started cooking
"Watchu cooking?" Taipan asked
"Food for me" I replied making him suck his teeth

"Don't worry"
"Make me sum" he said
"No since you couldn't get me no McDonald's or nun" I said
"Please that shit look good"

"Here" I gave Karti a plate
It was potato's pancakes eggs and bacon
"Thank you best" he smiled I rolled my eyes mocking him eating my food
"Where my plate?" Karti asked
"Kitchen go make it" I said
"THIS SHIT BUSSIN!" Taipan yelled coming out the kitchen doing a lil dance
"It's the dancing for me"
"Fr" Karti laughed
He sat down and started going tf in
"He fucking that shit up!" Karti was recording him
"Bro watch out" taipan looked up and threw a pillow at him
He threw it back but Taipan caught it before it even touched him
"Tf" I said cause that was fast as fuck
"That niggas like a reptile hence the name!" Karti said
"Wym?"
"My brother is a reptilian or something" I laughed
"That nigga got fast reflexes, he can see in the dark, and he bounce back fast that's why he named after a snake" Karti said
"See in the dark wtf" I said looking at him
"Surprised yall cant" he shrugged
"Who tf can?"
"Me" he stuck his tongue out like a little kid
I shook my head getting up
"Stop looking at my besti ass every chance you get!" Karti said
"But look it's just there and fat and pretty and bouncy" he said

"Anyways good night" I said walking to Karti's room going to sleep
A few days later...
"Why wasn't you there to help me study before the test?" Karti asked as I walked in his room
"My bad I had to go to work" I said
"That was more important than us studying?"
"Not Tryna sound mean but yea it is" I said
"Get out leave me alone don't call me don't text me don't ask me for shit broke bitch"
"Bitch I know I'm broke, that's cause me and my sister take care of each other, my grandma's there but she's really not, you don't know me and what I do through so don't speak on me I'm sorry I couldn't be there! But I gotta make sure me and mines is straight before anybody else cause at the end on the day ain't nobody else gon take care of us but us!" I said before leaving I went back in his room
"AND YOU CAN LOOSE MY MUTHAFUCKIN NUMBER TOO NIGGA ALLAT BESTIE SHIT DEAD DONT CALL ME DONT COME BY MY HOUSE WE'RE DONE" I went off then laughed before slamming his door
"Fuck is yo problem?" Taipan asked smoking on the couch with other people
"You Finna be my next one" I said he grabbed my arm
"Don't touch me bitch" I slapped him out of reflex
"Oh shit" somebody said
"You got a ride?" He asked me
"I'm walking" I said
"Nah come on" he said opening the front door for me
I rolled my eyes following him to his car
"Why you go off on him like that?" He asked me
"Cause he mad I had to go to work instead of being at school to help him before the test, I have to work ion got it like that shit ion got it at all, then he called me a broke bitch shoulda beat his ass Fr" I said
"It's sum wrong with the way he think like seriously it ain't excuse but it's the truth!" He shrugged
"I'm tired of this shit take me to the pharmacy on 31st" I said
He nodded pulling up to the drive-thru
"I'm here to pick up my script Da'Nyla Thomas date of birth June 11th 03" I said she nodded leaving
"Your young as fuck" he said
I shrugged "almost legal" I said
"Yea it's April" he shrugged
"Ok here you that's all three" she said giving Taipan three bags
He nodded pulling off I took my medicine immediately
"Damn fuck you take all that shit for?" He asked
"Mental health"
"You want sum to eat or sum?" He asked
"No my address is..."
"Thank you" I got out the car going in the house
"I thought you was tutoring" Dejá said
"Fuck that bitch ass nigga" I spoke going in my room
I went to the bathroom outside the room that me and Dejá share and took a shower before going to sleep
