"Thats not funny" shouted Sasha
"I'm not trying to be" retorted Tanya "This is the first time I've called you tonight, seriously"
"Well someone called me from your number earlier" said Sasha
"Could of been Max" Tanya suggested "you know what he is like" it was true Tanya's kid brother was known for being the king of pranks at his school.
"Your probably right" Sasha accepted "I wanna go make sure the kids are ok"
"Ok well call me if you want to talk, or if you want me to come over. Love you"
"Yeah you too" Sasha's attention was no longer on the phone.
Sasha ended the call and immediately her phone rang again this time the number was private "have you checked on the children?" Sasha hung upon and began her third call in as many minutes only this time she was the one who was dialing. She dialed the tripple nines and waited for an answer.
"State your emergency" came the voice at the other end.
"erm y...ye..yeah hi" Sasha stuttered "I'm babysitting and I keep getting calls asking if I have checked on the children"
"is that really the best you can do?" the operator said angrily "the oldest horror story in the book"
"I know how it sounds" Sasha said "but I'm being serious"
"fine" said the voice at the other end "we will send someone round next time we have someone in the area but thats the best we can do"
"thanks" said Sasha
