Last Chapter (* Me feeling so Emotional *)
My first ever story which has given me so many memories and this story will always be my closet and special book.
Umaid Bhawan:
Elders woke up at 5:00 am and got ready. Nyonika went to wake up manik and ishitha went to wake up nandini. Whereas Mansi and Prachi are helping pandit ji to arrange everything for puja. Nani and Dadi are looking after decoration for mangala snaanam along with manav, Raj, raman and Gurav.
Dadi and Nani Outfit:
Nani: beta woh flowers waha rakdo tikh se
Person1: ji
Manik Room:
Nyonika enters inside the room and see manik sleeping on his stomach cutely
Nyonika: manu beta get up
Manik: maa 2min
Nyonika: no 2min wake now it's already 5:00
Manik: fine. Good morning beautiful and you are looking so beautiful
Nyonika: thank u and now get ready fast
Manik got up and went to get ready he came out wearing simple plain white kurta
Nandini Room:
Ishitha woke up nandini
Ishitha: Nandu 5min are up now get up
Nandini: good morning mumma
Ishitha: good morning baby now get freshen up quickly
Nandini: yes
Nandini quickly got freshen up and came out she wore plain yellow soft chanderi silk saree with green blouse.
Nandini came out of the room and see Manik waiting for her
Manik: shall we
Nandini: yes
Manik and Nandini went in middle of the Bhawan where the ritual is going to happen the roof is open top
Nani: aajao bacho
Manik and Nandini sat on the chair just like haldi all the elders and youngster came and applies haldi on their face and hands and after that they keep a sieve on top of their head and pour water on them.
After it is done girls took nandini to her room and boys took manik to his room careful as they are fully drenched in water.
Nyonika, Ishitha, Mansi and Prachi Outfit:
Nandini Room:
Ishitha and Mansi are making nandini ready for Gauri Puja
Mansi: my baby is looking so pretty
Nandini: thank u badi maa
Just then Krystle and Nihaal came
Nihaal: choti maa u looking so pretty
Nandini: thank u my baby and my baby is looking so handsome
Nihaal: thank u
Krystle: looking so pretty
Nandini: thank u bhabhi and you are looking so pretty
Soon nandini was taken down for Gauri Puja

Gauri Puja:
This is one ritual which is only performed by the bride on her wedding day. Once the bride is ready, she offers prayers to Goddess Gauri, who is considered a symbol of purity.
Nandini is doing Puja as per Pandit ji instructions.
On the other side near Mandap
One more pandit ji is performing puja with Manik
Pandit Ji: abh aap Kashi Yatra pe jayege
(Note: Manik already have an idea about Tamil wedding rituals)
Kashi Yatra:
In this ritual, the groom pretends that he does not want to marry, and is going away a holy pilgrimage to Kashi. He is given a walking stick and a few bare essentials like an umbrella, slippers etc. for his journey. At this time, the bride's father stops him and tries to persuade him towards married life, and offers to have his daughter married to him. The groom then agrees and is taken to the mandap.
Manik acts as if he is going to Kashi Yatra and raman tries to stop him
Raman: beta ruk jao please shaadi karo. It's a beautiful and sacred relation. Please marry my daughter
Manik: ok I will marry your daughter.
Pada Puja:
As a part of this ritual, the bride's mother washes groom's feet with water, chandan and kumkum. After which the bride is called into the mandap
Ishitha washes manik feet neatly and after that pandit ji ask them to bring bride.

Nandini walks slowly, manik was lost in her she is looking so beautiful and seeing manik intense gaze on her nandini blushes hard. Manik forwards his hand to nandini and she holds it.
Pandit Ji: abh aap dono ek dusre ko yeh mala pehena di ji yeh
Manik and Nandini exchange garlands. Manik kiss nandini cheek in between everyone throws flowers on them.
Oonjal (swing ceremony)
In this ritual, married ladies of the family offer some milk and banana to the bride and groom while they are seated on a swing. Rice balls are thrown around them as a symbol to ward off the evil.
After that they made Manan sit on a swing Krystle and few other married ladies comes forward and fed milk and banana to bride and groom.
Kanyadanam
The bride and groom get off the swing. The end of the bride's saree is tied to the groom's angavastram. The groom is seated on the floor and the bride sits on her father's lap, with a coconut in her hand. This ritual symbolises that a father is giving his baby daughter who played in his lap, and seeking the groom's promise that he will always take care of her. The bride's father supports her hand and offers the coconut to the groom. The bride's mother pours holy water on the coconut and through this formal ceremony, the bride's parents give her to the groom and requests him to take care of her.
Manan comes down the swing, and they tied the end of manik chuni with nandini saree end. Manik sat on the stool whereas nandini sat on Raman lap with a coconut in her hand for kanyadaan. Later Ishitha pours holy water on coconut.
Manik: I promise to take care of her and love her forever
Raman and Ishitha: we trust u manu
Raman and ishita kiss both of their forehead.
Muhurtham
After the Kanyadanam, the groom's parents present the bride a nine-yard silk saree. The groom then applies vermillion to her hair parting. The thaali (mangalsutra) is blessed by the priest and the groom ties it to the bride's neck.
Raj and Nyonika gifts
Pandit Ji: abh aap ladki maang bariye aur mangalsutra pehna dho
Manik applies sindoor on nandini forehead and ties mangalsutra around her neck
Pandit ji bless both of them.
Saptapadi
The bride and the groom take seven sacred rounds around the fire in this ritual known as the Saptapadi. There is also another ritual in which the groom holds the left toe of the bride and helps her to tread on a grindstone kept near the ritual fire. This symbolizes their holy union, which will be as solid as a rock. This grindstone is compared to the entrance of her new home and everytime she steps out, it will remind her of her responsibilities towards her new family.
Pandit Ji: aap dono khade ho jaye aur saath phere lijiye
Manik stands up and helps nandini to stand both of them take 7 rounds around holy fire 1st four rounds manik stands front and last 3 nandini stands in the front.
After saath phere manik makes her wear the toe ring.
Pandit Ji: aap dono shadi mubarak ho
Manan: thank u
Manik and Nandini takes blessing of elders and youngsters jumps on them hug them.
Dadi: bacho chalo lets have breakfast and u all can take rest for some time before chuda ceremony
Everyone went inside palace dining area.
Manan had to feed each other
Cabir: guys look at nandini red face soo cute
Nandini: bhai stop teasing me na
Cabir: ok
Aryan: bhandar shadi Mubarak
Nandini: aryan I will kill u but still thank u
After having breakfast manan went to nandini room to take rest, Krystle helped nandini to change in comfortable clothes.
Nandini: thank u bhabhi
Krystle: anytime now take rest
Manik and Nandini sleep on bed hugging each other
Manik: how does it feel?
Nandini: I feel so surreal and happiest girl in the world
Manik: I love u Mrs. Malhotra
Nandini: I Love u too Mr. Malhotra
After talking for some time manan sleep hugging each other.
Around 11:00 am Krystle knocks the door. Manik wakes up on hearing door
Manik: bhabhi
Krystle: good morning manik go to your freshen up I will wake nandu
Manik: ok
Krystle goes inside and manik went to his room
Manik Room:
Manik went to freshen up just then Nihaal came to his room looking for his chote papa he sits on bed and plays with browny. After sometime manik come out and see Nihaal and browny
Manik Outfit:
Nihaal: chote papa
Manik: hi my champ
Nihaal: chote papa I hungry
Manik: my champ is hungry
Nihaal: yeshhh
Manik: chalo lets go and fill his stomach with yummy food
Nihaal: yayy
Nandini Room:
Krystle wakes up nandini and ask her to freshen up.
Krystle: you are glowing my doll
Nandini: thank u bhabhi
After helping nandini to get ready both came down for chooda ceremony.
Nandini Outfit: ( The yellow one is traditional south indian mangalsutra)
Nihaal: choti maa looking beautiful
Nandini: thank u baby
Nandini was made it to sit on the stool.
Manav comes forward and puts tilak on her forehead nandini closes her eyes as Manav makes her wear the chooda after dipping them in milk and plain water. After he made her wear chooda he ties with a cloth. Nandini opens her eyes. Krystle ties kalire to her bangles
Dadi: Aliya, Mukti, Navya, Jenny, Amit, Aryan, Abhi and Cabir tum sab beta jao nandini will come shakes the kalire and whose head it will fall they will get married next
Boys; yayy
Nandini shakes it on boys first it didn't fell on cabir or abhi she next shakes on aryan but no result she done shakes on Amit head and it falls
Amit: yess I'm going to get married next
Amit Mother: time to search bride for my idiot son
She shakes on girls and it fell on Jenny. Amit looks at Jenny with love filled eyes.
Soon time passed by its 6:00 pm and everyone went to get ready for another wedding ritual.
Nandini Room:
Beauticians are making nandini ready and all the girls are already only nandini left, just then Ishitha and Nyonika came
Nyonika: my doll is looking so beautiful
Nandini: thank u nyo maa
Ishitha: my baby is all grown up now
Nandini: but I'm still your baby
Ishitha: you will always be my baby
From behind Raman and Raj came
Raman and Raj: ours too
Nandini stands and hugs both of them. Nyonika and Ishitha kept red chunni on her head.
All four left to manik room.
Manik Room:
Manik is setting his hair just then Raj, Raman, Nyonika and Ishitha came in
Raman: looking handsome
Manik: thank u pops
Raman takes mani left hand and makes him wear new watch
Manik: thank u so much pops
Raman hugs manik tight
Soon it was time for muhurat

Mandap Decoration:
Manik was brought to Mandap by his parents he stands on mandap and waiting for his bride,
Manik Outfit:
Manik heard song playing he turns and see Nandini walking Amit, Aryan, Abhi and cabir holding chunri on top of the bed, She walking with karan holding her hand and Nihaal walking by her side.
Nandini Outfit:
When she reached the mandap manik forwards his hand she holds his hand and stands beside.
Pandit ji asks them to exchange garlands, manik makes her wear the garland first and then Nandini puts the garland around him.
Pandit ji ask them to sit and starts chanting mantras and manan follows him.
Pandit Ji: dulhan ka mata pita aage aaye kanyadaan keliye
Raman and ishtiha comes forward and does the kannyadaan. After that Krystle comes forward and ties their ends of chunni for phere
Manik and Nandini stands up and takes saath phere around holy fire everyone throws flowers on them.
After that they both sat and pandit ji asks manik to fill her forehead with sindoor and asked manik to tie mangalsutra around her neck.
Pandit: aap dono ka viva sampan hua.
Manik and Nandini stand up and take blessing our elders. All the guests come and congratulate them.
