Steven was really on edge. The day after the bonfire Steven kept a sharp eye out for anything that resembled bursting into fire
Steven: everything seems fine here
Steven looks to mount cavora and to his horror, the top burst into mighty flames rising to the heavens above!
Steven rubs his eyes for a split second and mount cavora was back to normal. He must have been seeing things again, but he could have sworn he saw mount cavora on fire, as well as some giant figure that resembled a pteranodon with two crests with skin like lava and a spirit that resembled a Phoenix. Guess he must have been seeing things
Steven heads for home but he stops as he sees the mountains. It seemed like they were being coated with a blanket of ice, and it was moving at a fast pace, impossible considering ice doesn't just move on its own
Steven; I have to warn aladar

Meanwhile, at the barnyard everyone was getting ready for a huge birthday party for Otis
Otis; we'll hang the disco ball over there. And the salad bar should be over there. And over there is where the kid area will be for little Ben to make some friends, and the human piñata right over the dance floor!
Daisy; you really know how to throw a party
Otis; what can I say? I'm the original party animal!
Outside kess sees some strange white cloak coming toward her house at top speed. She and kestrel go to warn the barnyard just as the ice freezes their house and the ground around them. That's when they reach the tractor and then the white frost catches up, freezing the tractor and kess and kestrel too!
Inside the barn everyone hears the noise and then they see the doors burst open revealing the hunters marching in
Otis: (Singing) OH, Milk me....!
Sir fangar: it is futile to fight the freeze!
Bessie: tell that to my fist frost face!
Bessie grabs a table and tosses it at the Cenozoic beast but it completely freezes. She proceeds to charge at them but the ice around them freezes her whole
Otis: (gasp[high pitched]) milk me!
Freddy: we gotta save Bessie!
Pip: she is the love of my life! We were going to have cute cow mouse babies together!
Bessie: (frozen) huh?! Mmhmm!
Otis: charge!
They all charge as Otis grabs Bessie and they all pass the hunters shutting the doors tightly so they couldn't escape. They all head for the tractor only to find it kess and kestrel completely frozen!
Otis: oh no! Kess and kestrel turned into bird-cicles!
That's when they hear trumpeting from the barn as the doors almost burst open
Duke: we need to get out of here and warn the others!
Pig; if only there were a convenient goat with a limo!
Goat: call for me?
They turn to see a convenient goat driving a limo
Freddy; if only there were a plate of boneless chicken in my paws!.... IM WAITING!!!
Daisy then realizes they couldn't leave kess and kestrel and that's when miles comes and kicks them off the tractor and into Otis arms along with Bessie
That's when they see mungus pushing the doors open
Otis: stuff our frozen pals in the trunk!
They do so as they get in the limo
Goat: so what're you guys doing this weekend?
Freddy: still waiting!
Mungus trumpets with primal rage as the hunters come out of the barn and the limo zooms out of the place as the hunters claim the barnyard as their own territory now

Steven had made it to aladar's office as he tries to tell him and rawhide about what was going on
Steven: I'm telling you! There's some crazy ice sheet covering safe haven! I saw it with my own eyes!
Aladar: even if that were true, can't we have some sort of proof or witness?
On cue the barnyard crew in their limo burst through the office as Otis gets Bessie kestrel and kess out of the trunk
Otis: crazy ice freaks!
Pip: froze Bessie kess and kestrel!
Otis; took over barnyard!
Pip: freezing everything in sight!
Both: HELP!!!
Aladar: what happened?!
Duke: anthropomorphic saber tooth tigers vultures and mammoths took over the barn!
Freddy: they froze Bessie kestrel and kess!
Peck: we got out as fast as we could!
Goat; so you guys good?
Otis: yeah I think we're good
The goat got back in the limo and zoomed away
Steven: ya see aladar? Ya see? Ya see? Ya see?!

Meanwhile the hunters were plundering the barnyard of everything and they found a lot of borrowed chi from the chi district
Stealthor: the plundering is good sir
Sir fangar looks to see the progress
Voomvoom: woohoo! So many orbs!
Vornon: (sighs) so many orbs
Sir fangar takes one of the chi orbs
Sir fangar; magnificent! There are still hunters to awaken from their dreamless sleep. Bring them those orbs!
Stealthor: and what about them?
He looks to the frozen barn animals that tried to escape but couldn't get away
Sir fangar: they will be most excellent as my own trophies!

Aladar had gotten the group together and soon the Dino knights, many worriers of Chima, the crystal gems and the battle brigade of elephants marched forth to defeat this new weapon
Laval: to the barnyard! So we can put some heat on that bad ice!

Meanwhile inside the lion temple Longtooth was defrosting Bessie kess and kestrel
Bessie: this is just great! One Minuit we were gonna celebrate the birthday of mr dumb dumb, and the next moment I get turned into frozen meat!
Longtooth: do you ever shut up?
Bessie; if my legs weren't frozen I'll shut you up main for brains!
Kess: she's always like that
Longtooth: ugh. Why'd they ask me to defrost them? I'd much rather be out there getting hurt in battle than deal with this
Bessie: if you want I'll put the hurt on you zebra breath!

Meanwhile the hunters took their trophies to their ice fort which was rebuilt and ready for battle
Sir fangar: they can freeze us, bury us, pretend we never existed, but the hunters always rise! They shall feel our righteous power! LET THE HUNT BEGIN AGAIN!!!

The army lead by Sisu's family and the Dino knights make it to the farm district
Tyranno: so what are these tribes like?
Otis: their real frost lovers! Their ice is both a weapon and shield! They got glowing bones and ice cold hearts! Just the sheer sight of them and it'll make you shiver!
That's when they step on where the barnyard used to be, now it was frozen all over. That's when they see the hunters coming at full force. They blast all they got in the hunters but the ice was so slippery it messed up their aim
Brachio: Dino brachio! Power of the Titans!
That's when brachi changes to his worrier form
Brachio: Dino knight ready!
Pachy; Dino pachy! Power of the Titans! Spike sword weapon mode!
Brachio: commence spike saber link!
That meant they were ready for battle as the other knights followed behind
Dino knights: power of the Titans! Dino knights ready!
Pengu: charge!
They all charge as they prepare for battle. But that's when Steven saw something unexpected, sir fangar, maula and Vardy channeled their powers and the spirits of the smilodon mammoth and argentavis came out of them
Steven; two can play that game!
That's when he summoned the spirits of the tiger, master phant and the eagle spirit to attack these cursed spirits. They charged at one another, the tiger fought the smilodon, the eagle fought the argentavis, and master phant fought the mammoth. And so far it was an even battle with them
Meanwhile the safe haven army and the hunters fought each other as well, with both sides taking serious damage. The ankylosaurus launch large rocks and the vultures froze them
Voomvoom; a big rock! This'll be fun!
Vornon; a big rock. This is gonna hurt
And he was right as the rock fell on them taking serious damage. The ankylosaurus slam tails against one another. Meanwhile Malcolm and his brothers Fitch Hatchet and Marx blast some of the mammoth soldiers with their own weapons
Maula: how rude! Mungus dear, could you be a sweetie and smash those I'll mannered beasts into pitiful pulps?
Mungus gets his club and charges at the four
Mungus: mungus make the hurting! Happy, happy!
Fitch sees the danger and stands in front of the mammoth
Fitch: leave my family alone!
He then surrounds himself with green flames growing enormous sprouting wings from his arms until he was a towering ferocious fire breathing dragon!
Mungus: grr! Mungus bring the hurting on green lizard!
He slams his club on Fitch and sends him flying into Dino tyranno. With Dino tricera, he spots vardy and charges at him but his foot got frozen so he was stuck
Tricera: no fair bird brain! Get over here and fight me!
Vardy: sorry, but I'll beat you soon enough
Tricera just struggles on the spot as Vardy just sits there. Meanwhile some of the battle brigade took a mighty blow as many of the turned frozen solid from the ice below them with the hunters just laughing. Lagravis takes out a chi orb and places it in his harness chi'ing up. Sir fangar ponders on how to do that since chi was already inside his harness. Meanwhile the crystal gems assisted the brigade as lapis used her water powers to blast the hunters which was a good asset when frozen and hits the hunters on impact
Tricera: so your just gonna sit there?!
Vardy: why not? I'm in no rush
Tricera: yeah but it's a fight! We're supposed to duke it out like worriers!
Vardy: maybe you do. Me? I could wait here all day
The imps prepare their attack as they get their guns out and aim at sir fangar and strainor
Strainor: guns? With bullets? Oh please! That does nothing to us!
Blitzo; who said we were aiming at you?!
He fires his gun which turns out to hit frozen branches and lands on them sending them to the ground
Steven: everyone! Let's get out of here!
The brigade and the spirits stop as they grab those that were frozen stiff
Saber: come on tricera! What are you doing?
Tricera: ugh, hello! My foots frozen and bird brain won't do a thing!
Vardy: you shall be defeated soon enough, patience is my greatest weapon
Saber: well my greatest weapon is my whip!
He gets out his whip and hits vardy with it and frees tricera in the process. That's when the hunters charge again. Meanwhile peridot spots voomvoom and vornon and stands her ground
Peridot: come on you bird brains! Come over and fight me!
Bismuth: you got guts tiny!
Bismuth; (cont'd) lemme give you a hand
She tosses peridot right at the vultures sending them flying into the air
Voomvoom; woohoo! We're flying!
Vornon: ah, were flying. And flying only leads to crashing
On cue they fall right on top of mungus. Meanwhile peridot flys through the air as she slams sir fangar right into a tree which bounces the chi orb in his hand right into his mouth! Fangar chocks on it for a second before swallowing it whole. At that moment, he felt what Lagravis felt. He had chid up!
Striker: keep shooting!
Blitzo; but they'll just freeze our bullets and pulse beams!
Striker: exactly!
That's when they continuously shoot the hunters making a wall of frozen beams and bullets
Sir fangar: freeze them all!
Motrot; but sir, don't ya think that'll backfire on us?
Maula: don't question sir fangar motrot. Can't you be more like your brother mungus?
Motrot looks to the ladder and sees him playing in the snow and groans. They continuously fire as fangar launches himself onto Dino ptera who just tosses him to a frozen bush as they all make a retreat
Sir fangar: after them!
That's when they notice the giant wall they made
Strainor: uh.... we seem to be stuck
Motrot: that's what I was trying to tell everyone before!
Maula slaps him with her trunk
Maula: why didn't you tell us that before?!
Motrot: actually I was going to
Maula slaps him again
Maula: why can't you do anything right?! I don't know what we'd do without your brother
______
Later everyone makes it back to safe haven in one piece defrosting those who got frozen by the hunters
Amethyst: did you see that?! They couldn't lay a finger on me!
Peridot: hmm... but did you notice how I perfectly launched my trajectory, RIGHT INTO THOSE TWO VULTURES?! I'll demonstrate (jumps into bismuths arms) launch me again!
Bismuth: I like you peridot. You don't quit
Steven looks to mount cavora and still can't shake off the feeling that there was something more to it
Steven: could what I'm seeing be... visions of the future? Could they be telling me something I'm not seeing?
