At 4 am when Alexis' alarm clock rang, she woke up and ran to her shower. Alexis wasn't an early bird so she needed a cold shower to be fully awake and aware. Before leaving her apartment to reach the airport she drank her favourite drink; a warm coffee. Bologna was the closest airport from Maranello, she drove her Ferrari to get there. She was listening to some music when someone called her, Alexis couldn't read he name on her phone screen.
"Hey" She said a bit usure, like who can call her at 4 am
"Hey princess! All good?" Alexis instantly recognized Lando's sleepy voice
"Fine and you? Are you in the plane already?" Alexis was glad to hear his voice
"Quite good, exited to see you! Uhm, I'm at the airport right now the plane takes of in thirty minutes. We should board soon; did you work late yesterday?" Alexis could hear that Lando was exited but wanted to hide it a bit; since he might be with some McLaren dudes.
"I left the factory at 10 pm; I was in my apartment at 10:30pm. To be honest I was a bit tired this morning, but I can't wait to see you and have some great time with you!" Alexis was exited as well; for now Lando was her favourite human on earth
"I imagine I saw this morning your text from 11:45 pm; I hope you didn't wait for my response?" Lando was a bit worry, he wanted Alexis to have a healthy lifestyle.
"I felt asleep directly after, so no worry about that." Alexis wanted to reassure him
"Great, also I noticed that you are now an official papaya fan! I appreciate that very much." Lando chuckled
"Va piano lil Lando; for now Forza Ferrari!" Alexis said with enthusiasm
"We will see what you will say next year! By the way, I will let for you an envelope at the desk of the hotel with my room's key. I will say that it's for you, just ask for it; it will be easier if you have your own key."
"Perfect, thanks for that Lando; I will take care of your key!"
"Yeah, consider it as our first child!" Lando laughed
"Well real kids ask more attention and work; but fine I will do it for you!" Alexis laughed as well
"I need to hang up Alexis, we are now boarding. Have a nice trip to .... To Bahrein" Alexis could hear Daniel voice in the background, probably messing up with Lando "Take care of you..." Lando started laughing for no reason "Take care of you princess, see you tonight!" Lando was giggling
"Be careful Lando, I want to see you alive tonight! Oh, and say I to Daniel from me, I know he is here!" Alexis chuckled
"Yeah, Daniel is annoying!" Lando say it quite loudly to be sure that his teammate heard him "Anyway, can't wait to see you princess! I miss you so badly!" Lando was now more serious
"I miss you too Lando, I'm counting the hours now before seeing you!"
"Bye Alexis, see you!"
"Bye Lando!"
Alexis parked her car in the parking of the airport, she took her luggage out of the boot and said bye to her baby. Once she got in the hall, she found the whole Ferrari cru; she walked in Alessandro's direction but before she arrived next to him someone grab her shoulder.
"Alexis, I have a question about the rear wing arrangement for the weekend. Are you sure the one for Carlos is right?" Alexis wasn't fully awake and Giulia asking her important questions like that in the morning wasn't her cup of tea.
"Hi Giulia! Uhm, I talked with Carlos to understand what he was looking for and we decided that this arrangement was the one which fit him better. But if he changed his mind no problem to change it." Alexis tried to be clear and precise
"Okay, fine! I didn't know you spoke about that, did he say something else?" Giulia was curious, she knew Alexis was bringing something new in this team.
"Well he just complained about the engine, but I guess now it's under control. At least what I read yesterday was promising." Giulia looked surprised and lost at the same time
"What are you talking about?"
"The report from the engine department, it arrived yesterday at 9pm. I read it and analysed it; and it seems that the changes are beneficial for the car." Giulia seemed impressed
"At what time did you leave yesterday?"
"10pm something like that, I finished my day in Mattia's office."
"These are extra hours Alexis you know; you should be pay for that. Anyway, do you have this report since I didn't receive it?" Alexis started looking in her backpack
"I have a copy." Alexis gave the document to Giulia
"Perfect thank you!" Giulia started looking at it
"Don't look at my annotations." Giulia started fixing the French girl
"On the contrary, I will." And she looked again at the document carefully "Thank you Alexis, you can leave if you want."
Alexis joined Alessandro, Mia and some other engineers who were chatting before the boarding call. Once she found her seat on the plane, Alexis felt asleep she was exhausted; she worked late and hard the previous night to be sure that the car will be ready for the weekend. Plus, she knew that if she slept time will go faster and she will see Lando sooner. Alexis almost slept the entire flight, while they were landing, she gathered all her stuffs; she was excited. Not for the same reasons as all her friends; it was not because it was the race weekend, it was because of Lando. When she was waiting for her luggage, she turned off the plane mode on her phone and saw all the notifications she received during her flight. Some from her family group chat wishing her a great first weekend, but the one which cached her attention was the one from Lando.

Alexis finally found her luggage, quite everybody had their one. Once everyone was ready, the group left the airport to join the hotel and got in their room. In the lobby Alexis and Alessandro were waiting together to get their keys, then they walked in direction of the elevator to reach their room. When they were in front the door of the elevator Alexis realized that she had to take the envelope with Lando's key.
"Oh, I forgot I have to ask something at the desk. Go on, we will see each other at the breakfast tomorrow." Alexis said to Alessandro
"I can wait for you, I'm not in a rush you know!" Alexis wanted to find a friendly wait to tel him to leave
"No worry, it will take some times. Go get some rest to be ready for tomorrow, I can see that you are tired." Alessandro smiled
"15 minutes won't change my life, Alexis; I will wait for you!" Since Alessandro really insisted, Alexis decided just to ask a question at the desk and she will come back for the envelope.
When she came back, Alessandro was patiently waiting for her next to the elevator with a large smile on his face. They got in the elevator shaft and reached the fourth floor, hopefully for Alexis their rooms were in opposite direction. So, they wish each other a goodnight and walked to find their room. Alexis got in hers, placed her luggage on the sofa and took a new hoodie to put on. She left her room and went to the lobby and ask for the envelope a the desk.
"I'm sorry there isn't any envelope for you, are you sure the person let it?" The woman behind the desk asked
"He texted me that he left an envelope for me earlier, can you look for it again please?" The woman started looking again, Alexis was a bit impatient. A man arrived next to the woman and asked what was going on.
"This lady said that someone let an envelope for her, but I can't find anything here." The man started smiling
"Are you madame Norris?" The man asked Alexis, who fixed him with a small smile. She knew Lando wanted to mess up with her by calling her Mrs Norris.
"I am."
"Then Mr. Norris took it back, and told me that he would wait for you in the room number 369, third floor" Alexis nodded
"Thank you, have a great evening." Alexis left the desk and used the stairs to join Lando's room. By calling her Mrs. Norris he took some risks, Alexis knew that he should be more careful. When she arrived in the third floor, Alexis could see many McLaren staff member; it was clear that it wasn't her floor. No one should saw her getting in Lando's room, so she started walking slowly being sure that everyone will be in his room when she will knock at his door.
"Hey Blondi! You lost?" Alexis turned over to face Daniel "This is the McLaren floor, not yours so get out of here!" Daniel was laughing
"You are so welcoming Daniel! I figured out by myself that I'm lost, I used the stairs so I missed one floor. I will reach my family floor!" Alexis smiled, she needed to be as natural as possible
"Do you need some escort!" Daniel smile was so warming, and communicative.
"Don't worry about that I..." a door opened and a boy with brown curly hair appeared in the corridor "I...I will find my way" Lando arrived next to Alexis and Daniel; Alexis tried to hide her pleasure to see him.
"Are you lost Alexis?" Alexis couldn't resist he was wearing glasses making him even hotter, Lando was playing with her; testing her limites.
"No... yes, I thought it was the Ferrari floor. But obviously it isn't." Alexis tried to hide her feelings. "I will find my way to my room, I don't want to disturb you anymore."
"Well, if you are in for a video game night; I can consider accepting you here." Daniel chuckled
"Thank you Daniel but I'm a bit tired; I prefer to sleep to be fresh for tomorrow." Alexis placed her gaze on Lando
"I can walk you to your room if you want." Lando softly said with a smirk
"I don't want to annoy you Lando." Alexis shyly said, if she could she would have shout that she would love to; but Daniel was there, but she was working for Ferrari and Lando for McLaren.
"I insist, I don't want anything to happen to you like Monaco." Lando look at Alexis with insistence, he found a way to make it okay
"Fine, I guess we aren't doing something bad." Alexis gasped "Well enjoy your night Daniel, and see you tomorrow." Alexis winked at him and turned over to leave with Lando
"See you later mate." Lando said to Daniel
"Are you joining?" Daniel looked at him
"No, I'm tired as well. Enjoy your time with Max!" Lando turned over and walked next to Alexis to the elevator. Once they got in, and the doors closed they faced each other and Lando pulled her in a thigh hug. All the feelings were escaping from their body, they had wait for this moment for so long.
"I would die to be able to do that earlier." Lando mumbled in her hear "I miss you so much princess."
"I miss you even more Mr. Norris; longest day of my life so far." Alexis enjoyed feeling Lando's warm around her body. They weren't moving since no one press a button.
"Are you in to go for a walk?" Lando softly asked, still in Alexis' arms
"With you, always." Alexis replied, still hugging her Lando pressed the button to reach the lobby. Once the doors opened, they separated in order to not be seen close together. They walked by the lobby to get out of the hotel, when they pass in front of the desk the man who gave the information to Alexis earlier was still there.
"Good evening Mrs. and Mr. Norris."
"Good evening!" Lando said with a smile, he was happy with the situation but Alexis was a bit upset.
"You are playing with fire muppet." Alexis said to Lando
"I know, and you know what? I love that." Lando place his arm around Alexis' shoulders "Now take easy, and enjoy the city by night. There is a place I want you to discover here; one of my favourites actually." The two walked in the city, it was peaceful since no one was there; people were sleeping. They arrived next to a barrier, Alexis started realizing where she was.
"Don't tell me it's what I think?" Lando started smiling widely "You are looking for troubles today!" Alexis rather wanted to be upset and to laugh
"Look I can see a lil smile on your face princess!" Lando pointed Alexis' smile, Alexis took down his hand and blushed
"I'm serious Lando." She wanted to be serious but she couldn't; so she started chuckling
"Perfect I take that as an approbation." Lando smile had never been so wide "Now put your feet here." Lando shew a place on the barrier "And I will push you, so you will arrive on the other side." Alexis nodded
She placed her foot where Lando putted his finger earlier, and wait for him to help her. Before pushing her a bit he placed a kiss on her cheek. They were now separated by the barrier, but Lando joined Alexis without any difficulty. Alexis could see that he was happy to be here.
"See, lovely place isn't it?" Lando was looking around, but Alexis was fixing him.
"This is true." Lando stopped his gaze on her, he slowly grabbed her hand.
"Come with me." The two started walking hand in hand on the track.
"Are we doing your track walk?" Alexis questioned
"No, I don't want to annoy you with these stuffs. We are here to enjoy the night and the life, our life." They continued walking a bit "Isn't it one of my hoodies?" Alexis started smiling
"It is, the one from Monaco, I guess. I can give it back to you if you want." You can hear in Alexis' voice that she wanted to keep it.
"No, it definitely looks better on you; furthermore, it reassures me to know that you have some stuffs that belong to me. I don't want you to came one day with a crappy boyfriend from your university." Alexis chuckled
"Are you jealous?" Lando stopped walking and fixed her
"I'm not." Alexis was smiling
"Yes you are Lando, and this is not a bad thing you know." Lando was a bit confused
"What do you mean?"
"I mean you do care about me; this is normal to be jealous Lando. I'm jealous of all the people you can meet during events or at the paddock. Sometime being jealous is a great thing, it means that you care about the other person. Even if you have nothing to do with that, I'm hurt when I read some gossip saying that you are dating someone else." Lando started smiling a bit
"Someone else, in comparison to who?" Lando knew the answer, but he wanted to hear it
"To me Lando, to me. I think I like you more than I should, even if everyone at my office is telling me not to interact with you, not to see you, not to be with you, not to think about you. Lando, I do care about you; when I'm sad I think about you, and then I instantly smile because I know I will see you or call you or whatever with you. But when I'm happy I also think about you, I know that if I succeed, I will be able to make my own choices and I will be with you. Lando I constantly think about you, even in my dreams you are present; I can't live far from you, this is too hard. But the hardest thing is having you next to me and not being able to act as I want because of medias and all these stupid stuffs. I like you so much Lando, if you ask me where I saw myself in ten years; my answer is anywhere but with you." Some tears were running on Alexis' face, Lando grabbed her face in his hands and wiped the tears
"You are constantly in my mind princess; I can't have a day without thinking about you. I know that with you I'm stronger, in the tough moments I think about you; you are my source of energy Alexis. Every night without you is a torture for me, especially when you are at uni; I'm always thinking about the fact that you can meet a guy your age with a simpler way of life, something that fit you better. It's hard to walk around the paddock and not being able to say to everyone that you are mine and no one should get in trouble with you. I really enjoyed meeting your brothers, knowing you deeper since the first time I saw you Alexis; Ioved every moments shared with you, I lo...." Lando was interrupted by a light pointed on him and Alexis, it was a watchman from the circuit "Shit!" Lando grabbed Alexis' hand and started running to find an exit, this wasn't' plan at all. Lando turned his head to see if Alexis was okay, she was smiling so he smiled as well. "How can you smile in such a moment?" Lando said out of breath.
"Because this is what I like with you Lando, nothing is planned but this is always perfect!" Alexis chuckled, they continued running until they say a barrier they could climb. Alexis went first with some help from Lando, and then the British boy jumped over. Lando grabbed Alexis' hand and they continued running to the beach.
Once they arrived, they were both out of breath they sat next to each other facing the sea. It was calm and peaceful; Alexis placed her head on Lando's shoulder and he grabbed her waist; there was a long silence before Alexis broke it.
"So I'm yours?" Alexis asked with a smile, Lando started staring at her
"As you said, you are free Princess; no one can possess you." He said with smirk; Alexis raised her face, to face Lando "But I want to have something from you." He gently added, placing a strand behind Alexis' hear
"And what is that thing?" Alexis asked with a smirk, this time Lando chose actions rather than words. With his hand on Alexis' waist, he brought her closer and placed the other one on her face; he was looking intensely at Alexis. Lando closed the gap between their head, only centimetres were separated them; Lando could feel Alexis' breath against his skin. Then Lando started fixing Alexis' lips, he could see a smile appearing on them and Alexis opened them a tiny bit; Lando dive in Alexis' eyes once again, like if he was asking for a permission, Alexis nodded slowly. Lando tenderly placed his lips on Alexis' ones, this kiss was emotional and warm. They both waited for it since day one, this kiss was the beginning of a new chapter in their story, their love story. When he softly moved back his head, Alexis' eyes were closed and started slowly to open. They were staring at each other when, this time, Alexis kissed Lando; this one was more ardent, there was more confidence from both sides. These kisses were full of desire, feelings, love; they were streamy. They were enjoying this moment quite out of now where, without any sign of life around; it was the perfect place at the perfect timing. They had waiting for this moment for so long, they needed it. Once they were both out of breath, they started staring at each other, something new was in their gaze; a new feeling was born on that day on the beach at Bahrein, something new for both of them.
"I'm yours now." Alexis mumbled, Lando placed a kiss on her forehead
"You are, and will always be." He started looking at the sea and Alexis placed her head on his shoulder.
"Lando?" As a response the British boy stroked Alexis' head with is head "I know this is crazy but, I want to dip in the sea." Alexis could fell the smile on Lando's face
"You are a crazy girl Alexis, but you are my crazy girl." Lando stood up and helped Alexis, before running to the sea Lando placed a kiss on Alexis' lips; they were soft. Lando could stick his lips on Alexis for the rest of his life, it was the euphoria of the new love. Lando carried Alexis to the sea, and through her in the water, he joined her right after that. Alexis tried to swim away, she was laughing and smiling; for sure this day was one of, or maybe the best day of her life. Lando caught her easily, they were laughing together; Alexis kissed Lando, this one tasted the sea salt. It was such a special moment, they wanted to stay over there for the rest of the night and the day. Tonight, they found their bubble and realized that they can live without having to deal with all the paparazzies. "I like you so much Alexis Le Guezec." Lando said smiling at the young girl
"I like you even more Lando Norris." Alexis said rolling her hand through his wait hair, she took of his glasses and putted them in her pocket
"You don't like them." Lando said with a smirk
"On the contrary, I love it on you; so I don't want you to lose them." The glasses gave to Lando a hot student look, it was really sexy on him. Lando grabbed Alexis' waist and placed another kiss on her lips, a long and warm one.
"We should go back to the hotel now." Lando mumbled, Alexis nodded and they left the sea and walked to the hotel. They were freezing since they got in the water fully dressed, Lando placed his hand on Alexis' lower back and made circles in order to warm her. Before they reached the last corner before arriving at their hotel, Lando stopped Alexis and started looking at her. Alexis could see all the passion in his gaze. He kissed her, a sweet and heartfelt kiss full of love and desire. Lando took his hand off Alexis and they walked in the hotel; the man was still there.
"Morning Mrs. and Mr. Norris." Lando stopped and face the man
"Morning, but actually it's Mrs. Le Guezec." Lando smiled at Alexis
"My apologies Mrs. Le Guezec." The man seemed really sorry, but acted professional
"No problem with that." Alexis and Lando reached the elevator and got in, Lando look at his watch "What time is it?" Lando looked at her and giggled
"5 am" Alexis started smiling
"At least tomorrow it's just press day." Lando smiled
"True" the doors opened and they got out, they tried not to make any noises reaching Lando's room. Once they got in, they were both exhausted.
"I imagine you would like to take a shower?" Lando question Alexis, who nodded as a response; Lando indicated her the bathroom "You will find everything you need in." Alexis took a quick shower just to rinse her body from the salt. Since she used Lando's shower gel, she was now smelling like him; a sensation she liked. Once the got out the shower, Alexis realized she had nothing to putted on; she wrapped herself in a towel and opened the door to asked for anything to wear. But Lando was so provident, that he placed some closes for her on an armchair; Alexis took everything and got back in the bathroom. She putted on the t-shirt and the quadrant hoodie; and then the tracksuit, she had plenty of them on her wardrobe now. She left the bathroom and walked in the bedroom, where Lando was waiting checking at his phone. When he saw her, he locked his phone and stood up. "Give me 10 minutes." Lando said
"Sure" he walked to the bathroom, but first stopped at Alexis and kiss her; you can see at his smile that he was happier than ever. 10 minutes later Lando arrived in the bedroom; Alexis was already in the bed waiting for him to get in, she smiled at him and he smiled back a bit shy.
"What?" he said chuckling
"Nothing, coming in I'm tired; 2 hours before we should be at our breakfast tables." Lando got into the bed. He placed his arms around Alexis and kiss her one more time, it was the goodnight kiss he was waiting for so long. "Goodnight Lan." Alexis said before closing her eyes and placing her head on his torso.
"Goodnight princess." Lando placed his head on Alexis' one
"It was the best night since I know you Lan." Alexis softly said
"The betters are yet to come princess, this is just the beginning." Lando said kissing her forehead; Alexis was now his, they were both belonging to each other. They enjoyed this night as much as they could and the the bourgeoning love, but they knew that from now it will be even harder to see each other and being distant.
