The days went like clockwork and Steven was having a good time with his friends. New guardians awakened from their slumber and they were on piece closer to freeing Sisu's family from their stone prison. But one thought came to his mind, how did all this happen? What he meant was how did safe haven go from when it was founded 65 million years ago to a metropolis of anthropomorphic animals which he called friends. This has been in his mind for almost a whole week. One morning Jackie took notice and decided to help her boy out
Jackie: you okay son?
Steven: I'm fine mom. I just, started thinking. How did safe haven become how it is today? I mean I know the story of how safe haven was born but, what happened in between then and now?
Jackie: I think I know who could answer that

The two of them flew to the center of safe haven as Steven saw the most beautiful sight ever
Steven: is that, a floating mountain?
Jackie: mount cavora. Isn't it beautiful?
Steven: yeah. It is
They both made it to the ground as Steven saw yet another wonderful sight
A huge city populated by anthropomorphic lions!
Steven: lion city...
Jackie: impressive isn't it?
They both go inside as Steven takes a good look at everything and was it incredible. They make it to the throne room where Steven saw a huge pool of chi water where the ruler of the city, king Lagravis
and his son, prince laval
were. Jackie kneels down before the two royal felines
Jackie: king lagravis
Lagravis: Jacinta. Just in time. The competition is going to start
Steven: what competition?
Lagravis: ahh, young Steven. The news of you have told us much
Laval: nice to meet ya kid
Steven: uh... I'm 16
Lagravis: forgive my son. He likes to get things started
Jackie: he was wondering about how it all started
Lagravis: ahh yes. How safe haven came to be
Laval: uh oh
Steven: what?
Laval: I think you triggered the "great story" button
Lagravis: the great story can never be told enough son
Laval: I know dad
Lagravis: you see Steven, we weren't always the advanced and sophisticated creatures we are now
New cut to black as we see safe haven from long ago
Lagravis: (v.o) many many centuries ago, safe haven had no buildings or vehicles, or any sight of civilization. It was just a ordinary vast valley with primal creatures alive, extinct and mythological
We see lightning strike the ground causing an earth quake
Lagravis: (v.o) one day, the sky opened up and blessed the land
We see the center of safe haven as the tip of the center mountain burst out
Lagravis; (v.o) pulling mount cavora from the heart of safe haven
We see it let out huge waterfalls from 8 holes
Lagravis: (v.o) the water that flowed from this mountain was different
We see many of the animals drink this new water
Lagravis: (v.o) powerful. Transformative. Full of a life force, we now call chi
We see their shadows as they become anthropomorphic off screen
Lagravis; (v.o) those who drank from it, became smarter, more complex, evolved, and decided to teach their new knowledge with the rest of safe haven, teaching them language, reading, writing, building roads, buildings, turning it to the safe haven you know today
We see safe haven take shape as it becomes familiar
Lagravis; (v.o) however, one of each of our 8 tribes, lion, crocodile, eagle, rhino, wolf, gorilla, raven and bear chose not to embrace the chi water
We see one of each of the 8 animal tribes still in animal form
Lagravis: (v.o) they knew that this liquid chi could never replace the inner chi inside all of us. So they remained simple and pure
We see these animals leave safe haven
Lagravis: (v.o) vanishing to the outlands. Never to be seen again. These creatures are now known, as the legend beasts
We see the lions eyes glow as he rejoins his fellow animals
Lagravis: (v.o) they say they will return one day when safe haven needs them most. But few believe they even exist anymore
We cut back to present day
Lagravis: mount cavora still supplies us with chi today. But it is collected here in the lion temple. Where it forms into powerful orbs, thanks to the special minerals in the sacred pool
Steven: so that's how it happened
Laval: yeah, but I've heard it like a hundred times, and to me, it's more of a good story than a great story
Lagravis: laval
Laval: hey, I'm giving it plenty of respect dad, but I'm just saying it could use a better ending
Steven: (whispers) looks like someone still needs to grow up
Jackie: I agree
That's when Steven sees the other 7 tribes come together which 7 of them were levals best friends, cragger the crocodile, eris the eagle, rogon the rhino, razar the raven, gorzan the gorilla, worriz the wolf and blabick the bear
Steven: wow
Lagravis: all part of our traditions. As the first to drink the chi water, we lions are its sacred guardians. Ensuring that it is shared by all. Once a month, we distribute chi orbs to the other 7 tribes of the chi district. Even with tribes we don't agree with at times
Steven watches as a line of animals come as the lions give chi orbs to them
Steven: woah
That's when a lion guard named Longtooth comes
Longtooth: apologies if I'm interrupting sire, but it's time to bring out the golden orb
Steven: golden orb?
Lagravis: there's always an extra golden chi orb once a month. But we don't just give this orb away
Laval: we RACE for it!
Steven: can I try?
Lagravis: of course. There are some areas in time when non chi districters join the monthly golden chi race
Steven: cool!
Later Steven comes back to the palace but this time on the back of a species of deinocheirus that looked like a gallimimus bit with massive claws
Steven: now remember Philip, we're only racing for fun. We're not trying to win anything
Philip: speak for yourself
Lagravis: welcome! Citizens of the chi district! To our monthly race for the golden chi
He reveals the golden chi which catches Stevens eyes
Lagravis: for over 35,000 years, the golden chi has chosen a different contest each month so that no one tribe or free players shall have an advantage of winning it
The golden orb proceeds to use its powers to transform the field
Lagravis: what will it choose this month? A torture course of obstacles? Or the ruthless race of ramps?
It was neither for it created a forest themed jousting arena
Lagravis; it is settled. The joust of jungle judgment!
That's when longtooth whispered in his ear
Lagravis; it seems we have a late challenger. From the ring of wrath in the underworld, striker the imp!
Black flaming hooves clop rapidly on the ground. An imp's spiky tail whips a black horse's flank. An imp wearing a cowboy hat rides a black hell horse with a fiery mane. The horse leaps over a fence.
The horse rears up and roars in front of the group. Striker tips his hat in greeting, a stalk in his mouth
Striker: Well, howdy! Well lookie here! You must be the famous prince Steven
Steven; yeah. That would be me
Striker: heard plenty of rumors you'd be partaking in this little competition. Thought I'd drop by and take ya on one on one for that golden orb
Steven: really? You winning that golden orb? Fat chance! It belongs to the chi district
Striker: as they say, "don't count your compsognathus before they hatch" kid, I'll be jousting circles around your ass faster than you can say "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers"
Steven: your on cowboy!
Philip snorts in response
Lagravis: let the joust begin! Anyone caught using unsecured weapons will be immediately disqualified.
Leonidus: First up, laval vs gorzan!
The two joust as laval knocks gorzan to the dirt winning
Laval: great joust. Tilt your Speedor a little lower next time and ya might just beat me
Gorzan: groovy
Leonidus: rogon vs blavick!
The two joust as rogon knocks blvick to the dirt, which was too easy since the bear was literally sleeping through all of it
Leonidus: rogon vs laval!
The two joust and laval beats rogon
Leonidus: razar vs worriz!
The two joust and worriz throws his sword at the raven winning
Leonidus: cragger vs laval
Cragger: just you and me pal. Don't expect me to go easy on ya!
Laval: I'm not. So don't expect the same from me
The two joust as laval beats his pal
Cragger: nice one buddy!
Laval: you too buddy. Better luck next month
Leonidus; laval vs worriz!
The two joust as laval sends the wolf flying
Leonidus: laval vs striker!
The two square off and joust. Laval seemed determined but striker just leapt over him and his hell horse attacked him from the rear winning
Striker: better luck next time pussycat
Leonodus: final joust to determine the winner of the golden chi! Striker the imp vs prince Steven
Steven; down to just you and me
Striker: like they say, "one shall stand, one shall fall"
The two charge at one another, Steven having his jousting sword at the ready as Philip reaches top speed. But striker runs right passed it and charges from the rear and his hell horse grabs Philip by the tail
Cragger: hey! Is that even legal?
Lagravis: it is since the only rule is no unsecured weapons
The hell horse tosses Philip and Steven to the air until they land to the ground losing the final round
Striker: looks like I win
Later striker is in front of Lagravis who hands him the golden orb
Lagravis: use it well. Use it wisely
He hands him the orb as striker makes his way onto his horse putting the golden orb in a brown sack. Steven comes to congratulate him
Steven: nice game out their striker. Hope to see ya next month
Striker: thanks kid, I admit you put up one helluva show
Steven: yeah, but next month, I'll be running circles around you faster than YOU can say "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers"
Striker smirks
Striker: ya learn fast kid. Hope to see ya next month
Striker whips his horse flank with his tail as they ride off to the sunset with Steven waving bye for now

Later striker makes it to a deep cave as he parks his horse out front. Striker goes inside and gets out the golden orb with a worried look on his face
Striker: I won the golden orb boss. Just like you demanded
A black figure comes up to him revealing to be ghidorah who takes the golden orb with his wing
Ghidorah: I knew you would. Little do they suspect that I know a thing or more about golden chi. What they don't know is that this golden orb not only changes the land, but also grants its weirder their many wishes. And my wish is for gobs and gobs of blue chi for your, primal neighbors
The cave comes alive as hundreds of bats, scorpions and spiders reveal themselves
In cue, gobs of blue chi appear out of thin air and the arachnids and bats gorge themselves until the orbs were no more. Striker watches in amazement as the crawlers grow in size, sprouting humanoid like heads with humanoid arms and legs before his eyes. Among them, A golden anthropomorphic scorpion walks right up to the two muttering the first two words he ever spoke
Scorm: more chi!
Ghidorah: and more you shall get in due time. Scorpion king
Striker backs away, not knowing what would happen next
Striker: and what about my end of the deal?
Ghidorah; don't worry, just do what I asked you to do next month and you shall receive your reward
Striker sighs
Striker: yes boss. Whatever you say
