We went back to the hotel to change and shower before we made our way to the track. The race started at 2 and it wasn't until 11 when we got there. I filmed a bit of footage and edited an Instagram video on my phone while we were in the car. It was the video of when I pushed Tom into the water, surprising him. In the background you could quite clearly hear me laughing very loudly as he hit the water.
"You're not posting that are you?" Tom groaned from the front seat of the taxi we had.
"Yep." I smirked.
"I'll get you back you know," He grumbled his warning.
"Sure," I wasn't paying much attention as I posted the video.
"So... you're wearing orange? To support Max?" Harrison brought up. I looked up to see him smirking from the other side of the car at the back.
"It was just the first thing I picked up." I lied sending him a sarcastic smile.
"Then why'd you take so long this morning?" Tom asked, confused.
"I had to do my makeup." I said, shrugging.
"You don't wear makeup." Harrison just had to butt in again.
"Yes, I do."
"You only do your eyebrows and mascara because it's all you know how to do." Tom scoffed.
"Exactly, they took forever to do because I'm not very good at makeup." I was an excellent liar, even when on the spot. To be fair - I was shit at makeup. "And since when do you guys know anything about makeup?"
"I'm just saying- are you supporting Max... or McLaren?" Harrison smirked making me throw him a glare.
"Even if I was supporting McLaren- why would it matter to you?" I sent him a sarcastic smirk. Harrison just shrugged and Tom rolled his eyes before asking to put the radio on as our driver tried to avoid any traffic. "And I look hot in orange."
"Are you sure about that?" Tom commented making me reach over to slap his shoulder. He turned around at lightening speed, looking like he was about to full on launch himself at me in attack mode while I sat back with a smug look on my face.
"You don't want me to tell mum you're bullying me do you?" I smirked. Tom grumbled under his breath, knowing because I was the second youngest and also the only girl everyone believed what I had to say. I was the golden child who was not so golden.
"Typical siblings." Harrison rolled his eyes, filming us on his phone camera.
"No, this is just typical Tom and Dani." Tuwaine pipped up, laughing.
"I have mum's contact right here - a simple apology would delete this ready to be sent message however."
"Hold on- what do you have your mum named as?" Harrison went to snatch my phone out of my hands.
"Hey, stop- no taking my phone. Get your grubby paws away from me." I told him, pulling my phone and myself away from him.
"Dani has mum under the name MY BIRTH GIVER." Tom rolled his eyes, snickering.
"What's wrong with that? She did give birth to us. Don't you remember those long hours where you were pushed from her vagina?" I commented just to make all the boys grossed out.
"Oh god Dani! Stop! What the hell man." Tom complained as Harrison placed his hands over his ears over dramatically and Tuwaine awkwardly put his headphones on.
"It's the miracle of life- get over yourselves." I scoffed.
"But when you put it like that- everything goes... awkward." Tom stuttered, running a hand down his face.
"You're the one making it awkward." I pointed out.
"Let's just talk about something else..." Harrison trailed off, "Dani that is a gorgeous orange top you are wearing."
"Thank you Harrison. It is isn't it?"

Tom attempted to hold the Pirelli F1 tyre up for a photo but posed with the tyre facing the wrong way, so he had to flip it around a few times without dropping it. The tyres were bigger than Tom which was funny itself. He tried to hold it above his head but the weight was too much and it began to fall forward. He reached out to catch it but the tyre was large and heavy so he ended up dropping it making it bounce on the ground a few times. I was filming the whole thing, laughing as Tom panicked, worried he had broken it. He lifted it back up to get the photo before putting it back onto the pile of tyres. He went to take a photo with a fan who had asked for one but nervously watched as two of the staff took the tyre he had just dropped off the pile and to the side. Of course I was already planning on putting this on social media.
"That was hilarious." I couldn't stop laughing as we walked on.
Due to the fact that Charles Leclerc crashed his Ferrari yesterday after gaining Pole position, he was unable to race today. All I knew was that Monaco was Charles home race which he would have desperately wanted to win and despite winning Pole he now couldn't do it. This therefore meant that Max had Pole position today for the race, having gotten P2 yesterday. I tried to follow along as Tom explained it to me. I was getting the hang of it all pretty quickly to be fair.
"Did I upset you this morning?" I heard behind me making me turn around. Lando was stood there with a nervous smile on his face and water bottle in hand. He had his overalls hanging at his waist with his fire proof shirt on display. Again... this was a very attractive look on the drivers. "Over text..." he trailed off, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. Tom, Harrison and Tuwaine were distracted, talking to some RedBull staff while I had been taking photos with my camera. I sighed, giving him a small glance.
"A little bit." I admitted. He looked around awkwardly, swinging his body round while his feet remained in the same position. "Look... I just- don't like it when people talk to me about my brother. I get it. He's a famous Marvel actor." I began to explain. "But I'm my own person. I just don't like being compared to him."
"Oh I wasn't- I wouldn't- I was just saying-" he began to stammer making me chuckle and raise an eyebrow at him.
"Are you always this nervous?" I asked him, eyebrow raised with an amused smile adorning my face.
"When I'm around girls as pretty as you," he muttered quietly, "Plus I feel bad for making you upset..." His comment made me blush under my mask. "Can I see your work?" He gestured towards my camera. "Or not if it's, if it's private..." he trailed off.
"Oh. Er, sure. I guess." I took the camera from around my neck and handed it to him. "But be careful with it... please." I watched him carefully as he flicked through the photos of the cars.
"These are really cool. Do you do photography?" He looked back up at me, surprised with how well the photos looked.
"I do. I acted from when I was young like my brothers but my passion has always been photography. So I'm heading more into that direction now. I mean, I'm only twenty one but... I don't know, I just wasn't feeling acting anymore." I don't know why I was telling him this.
"These are sick." He showed me the camera so I could see what he was looking at. It was pictures of the McLaren cars and then the crew.
"Thanks. I like to edit videos too. I recently graduated from London Film Academy so I'm now looking for a job."
"Do you like to travel?" He asked, walking with me now as he carried on going through the camera.
"Oh definitely. Who doesn't? It'd be a dream to travel around the world." I said as if it were obvious. Lando looked like he was in deep thought before he handed me my camera back.
"Can I see you after the race?" He asked, noticing the time as he checked his watch.
"Er, sure." I shrugged.
"Promise?" He held his pinkie up.
"Is this gonna become a ritual or something? Is that what this is?" I laughed, but he just wiggled his pinkie in my face. "Alright, alright. Traditions have to start somewhere right?" I said sarcastically, hooking my pinkie with his.
"I noticed you wore orange?" He noted.
"I told you it's my colour." I smirked.
"And McLarens." He added.
"Isn't it the colour Max's supporters wear?" I raised my eyebrows cheekily.
"Oi."
"Good luck out there." I did the same two finger salute wave I did yesterday and he copied my actions.
"I'll do my best for the RedBull traitor." He smiled behind his orange mask, shifting it as it was sliding down his nose a bit.
"Don't know what you're on about..." I began to back away, still looking at him.
"Sure." He said before his name was called. "So just to be clear, I'm forgiven?" He asked, making a move to head over to his team.
"For...?"
"The text this morning?"
"Oh that- I forgave you for that ages ago." I smirked before leaving.
