The class was silent, avoiding locking gazes with the trace of the monster hiding within inside the respected Principal of theirs that they had witnessed when they had blindly agreed upon to go along with which only resulted to the double difficulties that they'll experience for the whole school year. Your father had decided to accompany you towards your classroom to ensure that the situation had been cleared up and would never happen again while also letting himself be amused with how the students had started to cower away from you in fear, that's actually from him, but it's enough for him to know that they won't bother and do the same thing to you anymore.
When he finally left when you had finally quietly and peacefully arrived and occupied your seat, you were unnerved by the unusual silence of your class. Being quite kind and feeling pity towards them, you decided to minimize their punishment and have a talk with your father about it which will hopefully turn to a much positive side and also hoped that they'll start to be nice and everything will be back to normal again as what you had wanted to experience your current high school year with. And so, with you pushing aside some negativity aside and forcing yourself to focus on your classes, the class went on as usual.
When the class finally ended and it's finally time for lunch, you were surprised when your classmates simultaneously stand up before bowing towards your direction before loudly apologizing with some even starting to tear up. But with the Asano blood coursing through you, you couldn't help to keep your guard up and be strict before you'll apologize them, asking them whether or not they'll do it again as they immediately answered that they won't and had already immensely regretted what they have done to you. They remained in their current position, enduring the pain of their limbs while patiently waiting for your response for its the least that they could do.
Those who were teary eyed earlier immediately burst into tears while those who weren't had also become emotional when they had finally heard your answer, forgiving them and informing them that you'll try to lighten up their punishments. They instantly exclaimed their gratitude much louder than before that almost made some of the students passing by the hallway and even from the nearby classrooms take a peek of what the noise all about. But still not wanting to associate yourself with them, you turned down every invitation for a lunch with them and they thankfully understood it and let you have your space.
Taking out your lunch, you consume it silently and because you were too focused on your lunch while also taking a drink from your favorite drink, you had finished much earlier than you had anticipated and noticed that you still have some time to spare that was even more than thirty minutes that gave you enough time to let you clear your mind as you decided to take some fresh air on the rooftop where you concluded that might be scarce from any students right now. And so, having finally decided, you put back your lunch box inside your bag and clean up before you made your way towards your chosen destination.
Finding everything starting to finally be at peace, you let a relieved smile stretch your lips as you walk along the hallways that's occasionally filled with some other students passing by with most of them giving recognition to you just like how they did to your brother. Luckily, the students that were intrigued with your class earlier had finally dispersed and went on their ways to enjoy the remaining lunch time they had. After navigating yourself while avoiding to bump and knock over anyone that's near your way, you had finally reached the rooftop after climbing a set of stairs that made you quite exhausted along with the walk that you had just done.
Opening the door, you were relieved to see that there's no one around and takes a seat on one of the vacant benches that was fortunately shaded under the entrance of the rooftop. The soft breeze tickling your exposed skin that occasionally gently ruffle your hair and clothes, but your focus is directed to the beautiful scenery in front of you. The beautiful city with towering buildings that seemed to shimmer under the sunlight caused by its shiny surface along with the luscious green trees surrounding it added to its beauty and the serenity that you feel. You were finally at peace, but was unfortunate to know that it didn't last.
Your attention was diverted to the entrance when a five students that seem to be a year or two higher than you suddenly invade your peaceful alone time. Seeing that there's still a much wider space left, you decided to ignore them and let them do whatever they want, but was surprised when one of them suddenly pushed you from behind, making you land painfully on your knees as you were luckily supported by your palms to avoid face planting on the cement, but you sure know that there will be a scratch and a bruise that will show at the area where you had made an impact with the ground.
"The famous Y/N Asano! You made us so jealous with your fame! Not only that, we're also here to avenge our siblings that were all stripped off from a chance of a good education in this school because of your selfishness!" One of them angrily screamed out.
He glares daggers at you, clearly enraged by just even seeing your face as he kicks it, but you were lucky enough to block it with your arm which only send you lying on your back. "You're a disgrace to the Asano family name! You don't even deserve to live because you're too pathetic! You're just a burden to everyone! Especially to your family!"
That's when you decided that's enough is enough as you stand right back up again while ignoring the stinging pain from your wounds and bruises as you glared back at the leader in which you have found a resemblance to one of the bullies from before that was once your classmates. "I'm not even that famous compared to my brother and it wasn't my fault why they had been expelled. It was the consequences of their own doing and I'm just a victim of it. You're wrongly---"
Your palm immediately places itself on your left cheek, gently touching it as you stared at another new bully of yours who had just delivered a slap on it that was quite strong that made you look to your side.
"You have no right to talk back! You're just a waste of space in this world so why don't you just do us a favor and delete yourself from it?!" She angrily stated, her hand that she had used to slap you shaking from the adrenaline and hatred that she had felt.
They continue on with their assault, throwing kicks and punches while you try your best to block them and avoid further getting hit on your face, which will be very noticeable to the others that made your arms and legs vulnerable to their attacks. You almost cried out in relief when the bell had finally rung as all of them stopped, panting while cleaning and making themselves presentable again as if no attacking to you had occurred.
The leader scoffed while already making his way to the door while the others followed after him, except for one which had delivered much damage to you earlier. "And by the way, don't you even dare to tell this to the Principal because it will only show how pathetic and coward you are. It'll only bring more trouble than what you're already facing. It's goodbye for now, but this is not yet the end for it's only the beginning."
You take a seat again on the same bench very carefully and was thankful to know that you'll have a free time next subject that was announced by your homeroom teacher before lunch. Another luck was that you'll be able to make an excuse of not feeling quite well and hide the single visible bruise on your cheek by just covering half of your face with a handkerchief you had. You cringed when you remembered that tomorrow will probably much worse and you just hoped to survive their torture that'll be much worse than now.
And just as the bullies had promised, every day they managed to corner you whenever you're alone and had also managed to easily slip away with what they had done. Remembering their threat, you tried your very best to hide it away from your father and you thought that you were successful with it, but was only half of it as he was getting quite suspicious. It was different torture each day. There was one time where they would just forcefully bump to you whenever no one is around and would also leave your locker in such a mess and even breaking some of your things.
You excused yourself after you had finished your dinner while remembering that it's already the fourth day of the bullying that just happened earlier when you just visited the bathroom to see the girl members of the group already waiting for you and had done their mission. Even if you really wanted to reveal it all to your father, you don't have enough courage to do so and it might also be caused by you starting to feel terrified of them. Gakuho just gazed at your retreating form with worry, knowing pretty well that you're hiding something from him.
His suspicion started when you suddenly went ill and had a handkerchief covering your face while you sometimes flinch as if you're in pain whenever your legs or arms softly bump into something, but he lets it slide while thinking that you might really just feeling unwell at that time. But when you had started to wear long sleeve shirts, that even the ones you found ugly and itchy, his suspicion resumes back. Who would even wear one when it's still summer? And so, he had finally decided to confront you about it.
Meanwhile, when you finally and successfully gotten inside your room, you immediately dip yourself on the bed while cuddling one of your pillows after closing and locking the door, letting out a sniff or two. Finally getting fed up with the bullying and pain that you have been hiding and enduring all along, you let it all out as you cried, knowing that your brother and father are busy and also locked up in their own room and office to notice your breakdown. Your assumption was very well wrong this time though as you were unable to hear the incoming footsteps leading to to your room as you were still busy crying that's muffled thanks to your pillow.
You suddenly stopped as only hiccups leaving your lips when you hear someone knocking on your door and it revealed to be your father when you hear him asking. "Y/N? Are you... crying? I've had enough of this. I've been suspecting that something might be wrong and I apologize if I have just taken action just now, but could you please open this door and we'll talk about it? You can tell me anything, Y/N."
You freeze as you get nervous and scared of what his reaction will be. You were silent and that only made him worried. He sighed before leaving to fetch the keys to unlock the door himself that made you relieved, but it was short lived when the door suddenly swung open as Gakuho immediately goes to your figure in a fetal position with your face stuffed on the pillow you've been hugging, hiding away your tear stained face.
He places a hand on your head, giving a gentle touch a pat on it while he speaks, trying to convince you. "Y/N, it's better if you'll tell me what's happening. I'll still find it out, though even if you won't, but it'll be better if you'll tell me right now to lessen the consequences of whoever had done this to you."
And being vulnerable, everything about the bullying easily slipped out from you, revealing the horrific actions they had done as Gakuho had his eyes widen before he closes his eyes, calming himself down as he still had you to worry about. Your being always comes first and finding a suitable punishment for the bullies will be thought later on.
"Y/N, all of those negative words that they had told you are lies that are caused by their jealousy towards you. Remember that you're more than those. You're smart, kind, and an amazing person and will always bring honor to our family name in whatever you've accomplished."
You look at him to see him kneeling down to your level with his arms open, inviting you for an embrace. Releasing a final sniffle and letting a smile appear on your face, you return his gesture and was immediately filled with fatherly love and warmth as you thanked him. Gakuho gently rubs your back as you normalize your breathing, cracking a few jokes here and there while still saying some words of comfort that made you laugh and grin. The warm and positive side of your father which is the complete opposite of his facade to the others can only be witnessed by you and sometimes by your brother.
Wanting to see the spark in your eyes again and to bring life to your expressions and smile, he suggests to do some bonding activities to cheer you up. Cuddled up with your fluffy blanket to shield you from the coldness inside the movie room, your father plays your favorite movie while calling out to Gakushu as he's taking a bit too long to get some snacks for all of you to share as your brother finally arrives while grumbling a little that immediately disappeared when Gakuho looked at him as you just chuckled at the usual display of their banter.
You silently cheered for the two as they challenge themselves with a game of chess after watching the movie where your father easily won and all of you played a bunch of other board games where all of you could play altogether. The next day, which was a weekend, your father both invited you two for some sports. You laugh when your father managed to outwit you and your brother and had managed to win the basketball game even he's only alone versus you two. It's finally time to play a video game that you had requested afterwards. You're finally starting to get better and better thanks to the two of them.
But this much positive version of Gakuho Asano immediately vanishes and seemed to leave without any trace as he faces the new students who had bullied you along with the former ones with their parents accompanying them with his request. The parents were easily swayed with money in exchange for them keeping silent about what will happen and they immediately agreed upon it while also giving their own apologies for the harsh incidents that had occurred behind their backs. Seeing as they are innocent and really had no idea of what their children had done, Gakuho let them leave which only left the ten students inside an interrogation room of some sort.
The purpose of the room changed though when the students found themselves forcefully strapped on a chair by their parents before they left with a white board in front of them, which was long enough for all of them to see with some equations and very difficult problems. Gakuho stood in the middle of it, facing them and giving a close eyed smile that made a chill run down their spine multiple times. He proposed that on every wrong answer they'll give, he will punish them with a punch to their face, kick to their legs, or hit their arms with the ruler that he's carrying.
And because of the very difficult questions that only he knows the answer to all of them, they received all of the punishments that left their exposed skin terribly bleeding with some bruises painting it that made it even more disgusting and horrifying. "You're even screaming and calling out the names of your parents when my child didn't even call out to me and immediately ask for my help when you decided to act like you all are some very scary bullies. How pathetic to all of you. I hope this will be a reason, the final one, for all of you to finally end what you did."
Gakuho glared at each of them to shut them up, but because of the immense pain that even if they're numb to it, they still feel its aftermath, they continue to let some loud cries and scream escape their lips. Gakuho orders for them to look at him in the eye as all of them had foolishly followed and was immediately suffocating with his powerful aura, and madness to go along with it.
He orders for them to speak after all the words that they had easily and harshly spoke to you. "You're the ones who are pathetic, weak, and such cowards..."
All of them simultaneously uttered after him all the negative words that they had thrown to you along with some worst ones as they are blindly saying it to themselves while they are under Gakuho's manipulation as he could also easily let them forget of this confrontation ever happening except for the physical pain that they had experienced which will surely be questioned by themselves, but no one will be able to give an answer to it. Gakuho will do exactly just that, right after he had deemed that they had finally received enough of their punishment and to have some of fun with his sadistic side in charge of course.
