~Two months later~
NINA KAPOOR
"Come onnn, why not?!" I whined
"Why not? your seriously asking me that question?" he raised his brows challengingly.
Ok, wrong question!
"Pleaseee!" I change the topic
"No Ninu" he said seriously
"Arjun" I whined again
"Ninu" he warned
"Come on, I promise not to hurt anyone" I say making sure to maintain my balance.
"Really?! because I clearly remember you saying that last time as well, when you tried killing me with a fucking frying pan like the long haired blondie-" I cut him off
"Rapunzel"
"yeah her, when she tried killing the crocked nosed guy-"
"Flynn" I say frustrated
How hard is it to remember names?!?!
"not the point Ninu! you tired killing me like she did to him!" he exclaimed
"In my defense...." I tried coming up with something and kept opening and closing my mouth like a fish.
"I'm waiting" he had a look saying 'I won'
"It was your fault!" I not so subtly turned the conversation on him knowing it will backfire on me...real bad.
He looked at me "your really gonna do that? blame me for coming into my own house? and if stopping you from murdering people after watching horror movies is my fault I'll happily accept it." he replied
I sighed in frustration.
Ok here's what happened that day, we had watched yet another horror movie, I was in the kitchen drinking water and me being the genius I am didn't turn on any light and Arjun said he won't be returning home so I thought that was an intruder and took anything but a spatula and it turned out to be a frying pan, I went to attack when he turned the light on and saw me.
It was not my fault!!

"Alright you have a point but stop blaming horror movies!!" I looked down at him, he looked tiny.

Let me rewind a little to make some sense as to what is happening.
Flashback (a few hours earlier)
I was sitting in the balcony and enjoying the view, it was 6:30 and Arjun was busy working, like always.
These past two months we have gotten to know each other a lot. Fun fact I have stopped keeping an alarm on my phone, because Arjun everyday yells at someone on his phone which results in me waking up and trying to save whoever it is on the other end and saving his phone. I really wonder how his phone survived all these years.
But he's a typical workaholic. At first he didn't show it much but now, he is always in his office and I'm mostly there too either doing my work or reading a book.
I sat there for another 30 minutes and got bored, I decided to go and call Arjun or read.
I knocked on the door and heard a 'come in'
I opened the door to see him engrossed in his work completely, he just glanced my way, I smiled and sat on the couch and took out my book to read when I heard him.
"I'm done, movie?" he closed his laptop and got up, I nodded
"Should have come earlier" I mumbled under my breath.
"What do you want for dinner?" he asked as we went down
"We always end up ordering pizza, so pizza it is" I sat down and gave the remote to him.
"True, choose the movie, I'll place the order" he got up and left.
Hehe...he made a mistake, I'm gonna choose a horror movie itself.
He hates it when I choose horror because I always end up getting paranoid and think someone is trying to kill me.
Veer, Kajol, Arjun and a spider have been my victims till now.
I jumped on top of Kajol when she tried surprising me here. Lets just say I'm grateful that she didn't break my hand and neck.
"Done" Arjun slumped on the couch next to me.
"Ok, we are watching 'The Last Key' " I announced
He looks at me like he just realized something
"I just asked you to choose a movie didn't I?"
I smirked "Yup" I popped the p
"Give me the remote Ninu" he told calmly
"No" I narrowed my eyes at him
"Ninu....remote....now" he said getting really frustrated
I'm also stubborn "No"
He tried taking the remote from my hand but I was faster and got up and bolted from there. He didn't waste anytime in running behind me, since I started earlier, I had the lead.
I thought fast, I had to get somewhere high so my giant husband can't reach me and the only place that came to my mind was the bookshelf in his office, I ran as fast as I could and climbed the shelf faster than a monkey.
I looked down to see him standing there completely fine while I am here panting like I just ran a bloody 500 meter marathon!
End of flashback
"Alright you have a point but stop blaming horror movies!!" I looked down at him, he looked tiny.
What have I done!?
"Ninu, get down now!" he said in a serious tone.
"Not unless you say yes" I held my stupid head high
"Fine, stay there and if you fall, don't blame me" he turned to leave.
I gaped at him, if I fall, I'll surely break my head and possibly my leg!
"Ok fine, you choose" I pouted
He turned around smirking and I gasped
"You devil!!" I exclaimed
He just shrugged and held his hand out "Remote"
I pouted again and handed it to him
He took it and turned again and stood at a good six feet from me.
"In case you fall, one of us has to stay alive so, I'll be the one who stays alive, to help you of course" he said looking at my then confused face and now horrified one.
"You mean little rascal!" I gritted my teeth and tried to think of how I climbed up but my brain being the slow poke it is, can't recollect anything.
Fantastic!!
I tired turning back and forth with atmost caution, but failed on getting down.
Maybe I could just live here, I'll survive, there are books, Arjun might be sweet enough to get me food, that sounds like a good plan.
"Are you coming down or not" he asked amusement filling his eyes.
"No, I think I'll live here" I rolled my eyes
He chuckled "come on"
"Hah!! if you think I'm jumping, think again" I said
"I'll catch you, come on" he held his hands out for me to jump
This is not weird since we have hugged a lot these past months but I'm still scared, you see I'm afraid of heights

"Jump" he reassured me with his charming smile
Not the time to drool!
Right, time to make sure I make it alive and if I don't, well I lived a really good life these past two months!
I looked at him once again, closed my eyes jumped. Goodbye world! Miss me!!
Over dramatic
I really thought he would drop me and waited to come in contact with the ground but... I felt strong pair of hands around my waist holding me securely.
"Open your eyes princess" I heard him whisper
Ok this was very very new!
I felt a shiver at his voice and the word 'princess'.
My heart started beating extremely fast, he definitely can hear it but I hoped he would think it was due to the jump and not him.
I slowly opened on of my eye and peeked to see that my hands were around his neck and his black orbs were already looking down at me.
I opened both my eyes and looked at him, I immediately got lost in his eyes.
After I came to my senses, I realized I was still in his arms, my legs hanging in the air, perks of being short!
"You know, you can put me down now." I smirked playfully but then it vanished when I heard what he said next
"Or I can and will hold on to you like this forever." my eyes widened at what he said and heat rushed to my cheeks. I looked away from him. How I hate his stupid sexy smirk.
They should ban people who hot and sexy smirk!
"Stop smirking" I muttered and tried to get out of his strong, protective hold.
He just chuckled and set me down.
ARJUN KAPOOR
"Or I can and will hold on to you like this forever" just like always want to.
Saying this her cute little smirk disappeared and her eyes widened while her cheeks now had a pink color on them.
She looked away to hide her face which made me widen my smirk.
She peeked and muttered "Stop smirking"
I chuckled at the effects I have on her and let her go.
Maybe we might have a chance, maybe she'll love me back, I do hope she does.
"Ok lets watch last key, lets go." she tried again
"Nice try" I smiled sarcastically at her which got me an eye roll from her.
We ended up watching 'Tangled' in the end and every time blondie hit crocked nose, I playfully glared at her and gave her a 'that's what I mean' look and she just stuck her tongue out.
...
"I'll set the rest, you get ready" I tell Ninu taking the last dish and laying it on the table while she went to her room.
Mom, dad, Kajol and Veer were coming for dinner, Annie went back to collage so couldn't make it.
After making sure everything was ready, I went and changed as well. Just as I was coming out of my room, I saw Ninu, looking really cute in her grey kurta and black leggings.

She looked in my direction, she saw me head to toe and bit her lower lip, I smirked.
She stared at me for a while when she her eyes finally settled on my face.
Upon seeing my smirk she rolled her eyes.
"I got it" I say as I go downstairs to answer the door.
"What's up brother" Kajol said walking
I just shook my head at her
"Babe" she yelled and bear hugged Ninu
I hate it when she calls Ninu babe
"Don't call her that" I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Why not? she's mine too, in fact she was mine before she was yours." she stated throwing her hands over Ninu's shoulder.
Ninu had a slight blush and I smiled internally.
"Apple pie" I heard Veer yell from behind me.
Why? just why?? I mean out of all names Apple pie!!
We hugged, more like he did and I just glared at him.
He then went to Ninu and Kajol "Nini pie! Kaju" he exclaimed
He hugged them both too, I just shook my head, how am I still friends with him?
"We're here too" I heard dad say.
I look at them, mom came in smiling, hugged me and pecked my forehead and this followed for them too.
After everyone was in, I finally closed the door and joined them in the living room.
...
"Ok, now the main reason we are here" dad said once we settled back down after dinner.
"So, Ninu and Arjun-" dad looked at me and Ninu " -you both have been married for more than two months, right?"
"Uh..ya?" it came out more like a question than a statement because I had no idea where this conversation was going.
"Are you asking him or telling him?" Kajol raised her brow, I chose to ignore her and motioned dad to continue.
"Since you two are married for more than two months I think it is time to take your relationship to the next step" dad told
Veer chocked on his water and was now in a coughing fits, I was not bothered because of what dad just told.
Where the actual fuck is he going with this conversation???
"You two are going for your honeymoon!!" mom said excited and this time Kajol chocked on water.
Again, not bothered and Ninu didn't look too bothered either, she just sat there shocked, her mouth hanging open similar to how I am right now.
"Whe- when are they going?" Kajol managed to ask between her couching fits seeing that me and Ninu were not in the right state.
"Next week" dad smiled and this time me and Ninu chocked on air.
"Ok why are all of you chocking so much?" mom huffed annoyed.
"Your both going to Paris for two weeks, Arjun told us you wanted to visit Paris." dad told Ninu looking extremely happy.
Ninu looked like she was asked to take care of a alligator.
She turned to me with wide eyes, my facial expression matching hers
She cleared her throat "Um.. but what about our work?"
"Don't worry about it, I already spoke to them about it, they have given you the vacation and Arjun, well he owns the company, it won't be a problem" dad grinned
"They did?" she looked even more shocked about this than our honeymoon.
Both mom and dad nodded.
The rest of the night passed with them happily talking about out honey moon and all the arrangements.
...
Ninu closed the door, hugging Kajol and then breathed deeply.
She came to me "did you know about this?"
NOO!
"Nope" I shook my head "I had no idea at all"
She sighed and then smiled.
Why is she smiling?
"Guess we are going to Paris!" she said
I just chuckled and nodded "Guess we are"
"Loved the way Veer and Kajol chocked on water." she said out of the blue but she's right.
"True, if I wasn't that shocked, I would have laughed my ass out." I said grinning.
"I know right!!" she exclaimed
We spoke for some more time and then decided to call it a day and went to our respective rooms.
I changed and fell into a deep slumber with just one thought: We are going to Paris.
