A colourless room that was once filled with windows
Is now desperately looking for a hole for the light to come through
Smashing against it thousand of times, I forgot how to renovate it
With bleeding knuckles and gritted teeth
Cracks begin to form on the tilted walls of the room that I once designed
The darkness that escapes from those cracks
Makes me hesitant of what lied outside
I hug myself to sleep
I pat myself to tell my afraid heart that its okay
Closing my eyes, I imagine myself in my fantasies
But fantasies are just fantasies
Reality is still reality
Clarity is all that I need
I imagine my memories
But I see no reflection in them
More than one is another story
But I barely remember a single story
Oh just what happened in the history
Is all but just a mystery
Just a silent voice is all that's needed
To make me run away
My ears that are not mine
Live to hear others
My eyes that are mine
Are afraid to see the outcome
My hands can do nothing but comfort me
Hence I hug myself to sleep
I pay myself to tell my scared heart that its going to be okay
