EPISODE 13
Y/n's POV
We were now on our way to Pakistan. I was sitting on both of Joseph's and Jotaro's legs as there were only four seats. It was not the most comfortable I've ever been but I have no room to complain
"Soon we'll reach the Indo-Pakistani border. We'll be saying goodbye to India very soon" Kakyoin says
"Indeed. At first I wondered what kind of country we'd walked into, but now I miss the hustle and bustle of Calcutta, and the rushing waters if the Ganges" Joseph says
"I'll be coming back again, so I can make Avdol a proper grave" Polnareff says. I felt guilty because he still believed Avdol was dead. We managed to get him to a hospital and he's recovering at the moment
"Mister Avdol" Kakyoin mutters
"The roads getting narrower" Polnareff says. We all look to see a red car in front of us. Dust flew into our car. Me and Polnareff started coughing
"Stop driving so slow! You're in the way! I'm gonna pass them" Polnareff says. He then passes the red car
"Polnareff, you're being reckless!" Kakyoin says. Polnareff laughs
"This four wheel drive is great!" Polnareff says
"Het, do you think that might've flung pebbles as their car?" Joseph asks
"Who knows? It could have" Polnareff says carefree
"We don't need any trouble or accidents right now. I'm wanted because of what happened in Varanasi, you know. I'd like to get across the border safely" Joseph says. Polnareff suddenly stops the car. We all went forward. I wasn't wearing a seat belt so I was jolted forward. An arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me back. I looked to see Jotaro's arm
"Thanks" I say. He pulls his hat down and doesn't respond
"What's the matter, Polnareff?" Kakyoin asks
"I just told you we don't need accidents!" Joseph says
"N-No, look! Look who's standing over there!" Polnareff says. We all look to see Anne. She puts her thumb up
"Good grief" Jotaro says. A wide smile appears on my face
"Anne!" I say happily
"Hey! Looks like we meet again. Give me a lift?" She asks. Everyone was dumbfounded
"Of course" I say responding for everyone. She quickly runs over and hops in. She was in Joseph's lap so I was pushed over to Jotaro's. I felt very awkward and I'm sure Jotaro felt uncomfortable as we continued driving. She then began talking about being a girl
"I mean, I'm a girl. Soon I'll be wearing a bra and doing my nails for the boys. Just like you Y/n" she says pointing to my chest. I felt heat rise to my face
"I don't do anything for a man" I say
"Really? I totally thought you dressed up for JoJo" She says. I choked on air. Jotaro looked at me as if trying to read me while everyone else had amused grins on their faces.
"I don't" I mutter
"Are you dating?" She asks
"No" I say awkwardly
"Great then I can have JoJo" Anne says. A grin appears on my face. I give Jotaro a mischievous look and he shakes his head
"You sure can, I'll even help you out. You can sit on his lap and I'll sit on Joseph's" I say. She squeals. We quickly switch places and I notice Jotaro giving me a dirty glare. I stick my tongue out mocking him which makes him pull his hat down. Neither of us had noticed Anne was talking.
"I'd look pathetic wandering around the world when I'm Y/n's age. This is the only chance I have! Right now! To run away from home and see the world. I mean, I feel bad for lying about going to see my dad in Singapore, but let's just forget about that" Anne says. A car began honking at us
"It's the car we passed earlier" Jotaro says
"Let them pass" Joseph says. I now noticed that Joseph has a firm grip on my waist
Polnareff rolls his window down and makes the hand gester to let the person know they can pass. The car does and Jotaro watches intently. The car suddenly slowed down which upset Polnareff
"Hey, now!" Polnareff says. Sand was flung into the car once more which caused us all to cough
"What are they trying to do? I let you pass, so hurry up and go" Polnareff says
"Maybe they're mad because you were so reckless earlier" Kakyoin says side eying the man
"Did you see the driver's face?" Jotaro asked
"No, maybe it's because if all the dust on the window, but I couldn't see them" Polnareff says
"So you couldn't, either. It couldn't be..." Jotaro trailed off
"Be careful, Polnareff" Joseph says. The window rolls down and we see two arms that looked very strong. He lets us know we can pass. Polnareff giggles
"Now he's telling me to pass! Looks like he remembered how terrible his car is. You should have just stayed behind me in the first place, idiot" Polnareff says passing the man like a maniac. We all move around but Joseph kept me somewhat in place which I was thankful for
"What?!" Polnareff yelled as an 18 wheeler came our way
"A truck? That's impossible!" Polnareff yells
"It's no use! We're going to crash!" Kakyoin yells. Me and Jotaro pulled out our stands. He went to punch the truck while I used mine to minimize the damage to our car using its shield
"Star Platinum!" Jotaro yelled. The car was covered in a shield. We were i. The air. We hit the ground roughly but the car didn't sustain any damage from the actual fall. Although the front was messed up
"T-That was close! If it weren't for Star Platinum's power we would've been crushed" Polnareff says
"The car still works thanks to Y/n" Kakyoin says
"Where is it?! Where's the car?" Joseph asks
"Looks like it took off. Do you think that car's driver might be one of the stand users that are after us? Or do you think it's just some random jerk?" Jotaro asks
"It's likely that its a stand user" I say
"Y/n is right, of course it's someone who's after us! We were almost killed!" Polnareff says
"But there hasn't been anything like a stand attack yet" Kakyoin says
He's not wrong
Polnareff starts the car
"Anyway, all we can do is be careful as we head for the border. If someone comes after us again, we'll take them down, no matter who they are" Joseph says
"Yeah" Polnareff says
"What should we do about that truck? Star Platinum punched it, so it's pretty messed up" Kakyoin says
"Just pretend you never saw it. Ignore it" Jotaro says. Anne began blushing as she stared at him
"A roadside tea house. Let's take a break" Joseph says as we all get out. Anne decided to hold my hand
"If we take our time, we may avoid running into that car" Joseph says. We walked to the bar
"What's that?" Joseph asks the man
"Sugarcane juice. Wanna try some?" He asks
"All right, then- What?!" Joseph asks. He then turns around which causes us all to turn around. The red car was there
"I-It's him! That car is here!" Polnareff says. Jotaro and Polnareff walked to the car.
"Hey, I need to ask you something? Where's the driver of that car parked over there?" Joseph asks
"I-I'm not sure. I didn't notice when it parked there" the man said
"I doubt that the driver will just come out and announce himself" Kakyoin says
"You never know. You and Polnareff did it" I say. He shakes his head
"He's messing with us!" Polnareff says
"This leaves us with only one option. Right, Jotaro?" Joseph asks
"Yeah. It'll involve some innocent bystanders, but we'll just beat them all down!" Jotaro says. I stare amused as Jotaro and Joseph began beating people up
"H-Hey, Jotaro, stop! Mister Joestar, you too?! This is going too far!" Kakyoin says. Polnareff joined in as I ordered some sugarcane juice. I began drinking it
This stuff is good
"Anne you want some?" I ask. She nods. The man makes another and I hand it to her. We both drink and watch the show
"A face like yours looks the most suspicious" Polnareff says
"C-Come on!" A man says. The car then starts and we all turn. It drives off
"D-Did we just get played?" Polnareff asks
"Did anyone see his face?" Joseph asks
"N-No. What is he trying to do? He seems like a random crazy driver, but also like someone who's after us" Kakyoin says
"What about both?" I ask
"It's going to upset me if we don't chase him down and take care of this" Polnareff says. Joseph whispered something in Anne's ear. As we all got in, she sat on Joseph's lap meaning I was stuck with Jotaro
"Hey seat buddy" I say as he gets in.
"What?" He asks
"You know, you're sitting in a seat and I'm sitting on you. So we're seat buddies" I say with a pained smile realizing I shouldn't have said anything. He shakes his head
"Just get in" He says. I quickly get on his lap and he closes the door. A hand is wrapped around my waist which makes my face heat up as I know it's Jotaro's. Joseph watches intently with a smirk
He did this on purpose
My eye twitched.
I'll kill that man for meddling
I wasn't aware Polnareff was still talking as he slammed on the gas. My back hit Jotaro's chest
It's firm
"Not to mention, we owe him payback for the truck that almost hit us earlier!" Polnareff yelled. We were now chasing after the car
"For a crappy car, it goes pretty fast" Polnareff says
"That's strange. According to the map, we should be running parallel with train tracks here" Kakyoin says
"Who cares?! We're gonna catch him in a second. I'm gonna nail him on that curve! Impossible! It's a dead end!" Polnareff yells as he slams on the breaks. We're on the edge. My heart is pounding as my adrenaline had kicked in
"He's gone! Where did he go?!" Joseph asks
"He disappeared after that curve?" Polnareff asks
"And a car couldn't cross that suspension bridge" Kakyoin says. Suddenly a car rams into us. Jotaro's grip on my tightens as we all turn
"What?!" We all yell seeing the red car
It's a stand user
"I-It's him! He's coming from behind!" Joseph yells
"How did he get behind us?" Kakyoin asks. Polnareff put the car in reverse and slammed on the gas but the car kept pushing us forward
"H-He's pushing us with immense horsepower. What is this?! A tank?!" Polnareff asks. All of us had sweat running down our faces as we got closer to the edge
"It's no use! Everyone, abandon the car and get out!" Polnareff yells trying to unbuckle his seat belt
"Polnareff! What kind of driver gets out of the car before everyone else?! Who's going to hold down the brake pedal?" Kakyoin asks
"Huh?" Polnareff asks. The front tires then go over
"S-S-Sorry!" He says as we begin falling. We all begin yelling. I gripped onto Jotaro's jacket as if that would save me
I'm seriously going to die
I didn't even think about pulling out my stand as I was too shocked and horrified to think rationally
"Hierophant Green!" Kakyoin yelled as his stand came out
"Stop! Hierophant isn't strong enough to hold this much weight! It'll just tear its body apart!" Joseph says
"I beg your pardon, Mister Joestar, but I know myself quite well. I am not a fool" Kakyoin says
"It flew up holding the car's wire winch!" Joseph says
"Hmph. Not bad, Kakyoin. By the way, do you like sumo?" Jotaro asks as Star Platinum comes out and grabs the wire
"Especially deadlocks at the edge of the ring. It's exciting, isn't it?" Jotaro asks as Star Platinum pulls the car up and then punches the red car. Our car landed on the road and the red one fell down. I was still holding onto Jotaro's jacket for dear life.
"Ow. Indeed. I quite enjoy sumo. But Jotaro, in sumo, it's against the rules to punch your opponent" Kakyoin says. I let go of Jotaro's jacket once I realized I wasn't going to die. We all got out of the car. I felt eyes on me. I turned to see Jotaro staring at me but then he looked away.
Odd
"Since I didn't see anything that looked like a stand attack, I guess it was just some weirdo" Joseph said
"Yeah. Either way, he can't possibly survive. Well, I guess he got what he deserved" Polnareff says
"But I wonder why that car was suddenly behind us. It's so strange" Anne says
"It's not strange at all" A voice says. All of our eyes go wide
"It's the radio! It's coming from the car radio!" Polnareff says
"It was able to do that because it's a stand, Joestar!" The radio says
"What?! If it knows my name, it must be one of the stand users that are after us!" Joseph exclaims
"Where is it coming from? Could it be from the car that just fell?" Kakyoin asks
"That's impossible! That thing is totaled!" Polnareff says
"No, there's a possibility the whole car is a stand. Just like the stand for Strength was a boat" Jotaro said. I shivered at the thought of that disgusting orangutan
"The Wheel of Fortune. That is the card my stand suggests" The radio says
"The Wheel of Fortune?!" Joseph asks
"What is that tremor?" Kakyoin asks as the ground shakes
"This isn't good" Polnareff says
"Everyone, get in the car!" Joseph says
"No, don't! Everyone get away from the car!" Jotaro yelled
"It can't be" Polnareff says
"The ground" Kakyoin says. Anne begins yelling. The red car comes from underneath our car. We all fell to the ground.
"Impossible! It burrowed up through the ground! I think it's pretty obvious that car is actually a stand!" Polnareff says
"It appears that the stand's user is inside" Kakyoin says. The car shapeshifts
"What?!" Polnareff asks
"What is that thing?" Kakyoin asks
"It's like a living creature!" Joseph yelled
"It transformed! It's going to attack!" Polnareff yells
"Hmph. It wants to see who's stronger" Jotaro says with a smirk
That's kind of ho- we're in a deadly situation not now hormones
"Don't, Jotaro. Don't fight yet! Not until we know what that stand's power is!" Joseph yelled. Jotaro was suddenly shot by something as blood came out of him
"Jotaro!" We all yelled
"I-Impossible. I couldn't see it. What did it shoot at me, and how?" Jotaro asks. The car began laughing
"You couldn't see it? You'll find out, when you're about to die, that is!" The car says. Polnareff and Kakyoin run over to move him but they all get hit
"Jotaro! Polnareff! Kakyoin!" Me and Joseph yell. Anne begins screaming.
"What is this?! The wounds are deep, but it's digging in!" Polnareff says
"I can't see it at all. The stand appeared to be throwing something at us, but there's nothing sticking out of your wounds" Kakyoin says
"Are you alright, Jotaro?" Joseph asks
"Don't worry about me. Anyway I don't know what kind of attack it is, but it's got good control" Jotaro says
"I'll go after your legs so you can't run anymore, and then run you over!" The car says
"Run between the boulders!" Joseph yells. We all begin running
"Stop running away!" The car yells as it breaks the rocks
"What?!" Kakyoin asks
"What are you guys? Cockroaches?!" The car asks
"Oh, no! It's forcing its way in!" Joseph yelled
"We're no match for it" Kakyoin says
"It's acti t like some stupid muscle head who couldn't figure out a puzzle ring, so he pitched a violent fit instead!" Polnareff says
"Head further back!" Jotaro yelled. We all continued running away. Anne tripped and yelled out
"N-No one's carrying me! Yeah, I ran away from home. I'm a good for nothing! I'm all alone and no one loves me! I'll just die!" Anne cries. Jotaro picks her up and continues climbing
"Good grief. If you have time to say all that, you can run, you little brat" Jotaro says as we all continue climbing
"I love you, Jotaro!" She says giggling. We all climb up
"Climb if you want. There are literally no roads left for you! Not for escape, not for survival, not for Egypt, not even a road toward your shining future! Because this Wheel of Fortune is going to grind you into a hamburger and splatter you all over these boulders!" The car says driving up the cliff
"Oh, no!" Joseph yells
"I-It's climbing up" Kakyoin says
"Is there anything this car can't do?!" Polnareff asks
"Good grief. Looks like we're going to have to face it. Everyone, stay back. Once it climbs up here, we'll see the car's underside. That's when we'll see who's stronger" Jotaro says
"I see. Once the car's underside is in view we may be able to attack it" Kakyoin says. The car's underside had shown and Jotaro pulled out Star Platinum
"You're quite energetic, Jotaro! But not smart at all! Your bodies reek of something, and you haven't even noticed!" The car said
"Come to think of it, I smell gasoline" Kakyoin says. My eyes went wide as Polnareff began smelling the air
"It's our bodies! Our bodies smell like gasoline" Polnareff said
"It was shooting gasoline at us! It was shooting small amounts of gasoline at high speed, like bullets" Kakyoin says
"I-Impossible. So his attacks weren't to wound us, but to soak our bodies with gasoline?!" Polnareff asks. Jotaro had been hit again and he began to fall
"Looks like you finally caught on, but it's too late now! These electric wires will spark!" The man said. The man then pulled the wires and set Jotaro on fire. My eyes went wide in pure horror as I watched him light up in flames
"What?!" He asks. Anne begins screaming
"Jotaro!" She screams
"Jotaro!" Joseph yells. I fell to my knees in pure shock as I watched him collapse
No, no, no, no, no
"Don't go near him, Mister Joestar! There's gasoline in our bodies, as well" Kakyoin said. The man began banging on his car. He finally stopped moving
"Jotaro!" Joseph yelled. Tears streamed down my face.
"I win! Part Three is over!" He says laughing
Why?
"Oh? And who exactly is going to replace me, Jotaro Kujo?" I heard Jotaro say
What?
I looked around in confusion when I saw a hand come from out of the ground. I then watched Jotaro come up with a smirk
"You didn't think it'd be you, did you?" Jotaro asks.
He's not dead
I wiped the tears from my face
"You burrowed into the ground with Star Platinum! So the only thing that burned up was your jacket!" The man said
"Hmph. By the way, weren't you saying something about roads earlier? You were wrong. A road is something you make yourself. And so, I, Jotaro Kujo, will show you how it's done. I'll show you exactly how roads are built!" Jotaro said. Star Platinum began repeatedly punching the car
"I-I'm being crushed" the man said
"Jotaro!" Anne said happily. Star Platinum punched the man in the car
"That's how it's done. Where you went flying there is now literally a road. Good, good" Jotaro said
"What an odd character. His arms were so huge, and yet everything else is so small. Talk about a bluff" Kakyoin said. I got up and walked over as the man began crawling away. My face dark from anger. My foot collided with the man's pitiful back. I stepped hard as he hit the ground in pain. I dug my foot into his back
"You know in a stand battle I could never beat you but you know... this is no longer a stand battle... and the thing is... you've really upset me... so I'm going to do you a favor and let you feel my shoe. It's the closest you'll ever be to a female, I mean considering you don't have good looks nor a charming personality. This is a physical battle and I can and will mop the floor with your pathetic sorry self" I say with an evil smirk. The man began pleading as I continued repeatedly kicking him and stepping on him. Everyone took a couple steps back
"Yes plead more, beg for my forgiveness you failure" I say laughing
"Is this really Y/n?" Polnareff asks
"It's not the first time this has happened" Kakyoin says
"Don't kill me! I'm just in this for the money!" He yells. Everyone begins laughing
"I'm in this for your pain you scum" I say moving my foot to the back of his head and pressing down so his face hits the ground. I then knock the man unconscious.
"Oh, God. To think that the stand was disguising such a small car, too. It looks like a sheep that's just been shorn. How pathetic" Joseph says. They all continue laughing. Jotaro has a smile on his face
I cried for you... that was embarrassing
~Time Skip~
We chained the man up with a note
'I am a priest in training. Please do not disturb my ascetic exercises by undoing my restraints'
"Well, then. Let's take this car across the border, since our car was destroyed" Joseph says
"It's pretty beat up. I wonder if it'll last that long" Kakyoin says
"Help! Help!" The stand user cried. Polnareff and Jotaro got in the front. He was expecting me to sit on his lap but I was still upset with his stunt. Kakyoin, Anne and Joseph were in the back. I walked over to Kakyoin and sat on his lap
"Why aren't you sitting with Jotaro?" Kakyoin asks
"Maybe I don't want to" I say
"Lovers quarrel?" Polnareff asks.
"I'll cut your hair" I say
"I didn't say anything mademoiselle" Polnareff said
(Miss)
Jotaro looked at me somewhat disappointed. I just glared at the man
"You know Y/n cried" Anne said
You big mouthed kid. I'll throw you out of this car
Polnareff began driving
"Oh yeah, when we all thought Jotaro died" Polnareff said. I gave Polnareff a death glare
"You did?" Jotaro asks. I turned to the man as I deadpanned
"So what if I did?" I ask. A small smile appears on his face
"Good grief woman" He says pulling his hat down. I crossed my arms and looked away
"By the way, you're going back to Hong Kong on an airplane" Jotaro said
"Aw, why?!" Anne cries out
"Shut up! Don't you get that you're in the way?" Polnareff asks. The car makes a funky noise
"We might not make it" Joseph says
