"So all this shit happened in the space of 10 minutes, and not once did you call me?"Dave asked raising his voice
I had just told him what happened on our way home
"I didn't need to East, I knew what i was doing"I said tying up my hair
"NALA, my fuckin daughter was with you"He yelled
"and so was mine East, do you really think I would let a fuckin bee sting either of the girls"I yelled back
he was really irritating me
"If ANYTHING WAS to ever happen I swear i woulda-"

"Man stop calling me east and don't do that shit again next time call me"He said walking out the house
I kissed my teeth I locked the door behind him

"You forget she in the game like us my nigga"Bully said rolling a blunt
I went ova to the crib him and the guys stayin at and it was just across the street

"yall acting like a proper married couple"Bully said sitting back
"That's cos they are,and they gotta stop fuckin fighting cos juan and his wife coming over for dinner tonight" My pops said
I turned around and seen him walking over

"Yes tonight so get yo ass back in there and make peace wit her"He said
I slumped back in the chair and rubbed my hand down my face
"Now David"He said loudly
I kissed my teeth and got up
"oh and Dave"
"yes Pops"I replied
"Never shout at my niece again,i'll beat ya ass"He said sternly
Bully dumb ass bust out laughing like shit was funny
I walked back over to the house and tried to open the door but it was locked
"Nala open the fucking door mayn"I said knocking and knocking
after 5 minutes of straight knocking she still didn't answer
I went round to the side of the house and saw the gate was open
I went through and luckily the patio door was open
"so what no one home nah"I said out loud walking inside
"Miss Nala said for us not to open the door without her permission"kairi said as her and Akira were coming from the basement
"where she now"I asked
"kitchen"they said at the same time
I walked into the kitchen and seen her getting ready to cook
"i'm guessing my pops spoke to you"I said sitting on the counter
"look if we're gonna get Juan to supply his shit you have to trust me"She stressed
"I hear you but when it come to my daughter ,ion play that shit ,so if some shit happens and i'm not there you gotta call me regardless of weather you got it or not"I explained
"Okay Dave I will"She replied
some how we ended up in like a starring contest
"Ma can we play in the front"Akira came in
we snapped out of it
"Yes sure baby stay away from the road"Nala said drinking her wine
Akira and Kairi ran off leaving me and nala once again
2hours later
Nala POV
I had finally finished making dinner for us and the Juan and his wife
Akira and Kairi were not gonna be joining us for dinner
I was fixing my hair in the mirror in the hall of the front door
and heard Akira call for me from outside
I went outside and seen her and Kairi starring at 3 black Suv pulling up
I didn't know weather it was someone uninvited or Juan and his wife
I kept the girls behind me and called for Dave
He came out dressed and stood beside me
He wrapped his arm around my waist
"It's them"He said lowly
I let Akira and kairi stand in front of us as the car 2nd car pulled up in front of us
"Hope we didn't scare the lil ones"Juan said getting out the car with Vanessa
"Nahh you good Juan, good to see you again"Dave said dapping him up
"Vanessa welcome welcome"I said giving her a hug
I greeted Juan as Dave greeted vanessa
"and who are these cuties"Vanessa said noticing the girls
"This is Akira and Kairi"I pointed them out
"You girls are so beautiful,are you going to be joining us for dinner"Vanessa asked
"nah not tonight there bedtimes coming up"Dave said putting his hands in his pocket
we all went upstairs and i made sure the girls were in bed watching their movie
I went back downstairs and we all headed into the dining room
the servers brought out the food i spent time cooking and we dug in straight away
we had casual talk and then waited on dessert
"Nala this meal was so amazing ,you have to give me the recipe"Vanessa desperately causing me to laugh
"I will send it to you as soon as you head home"I replied
"So Dave, Nala let's talk business"Juan said putting his hands together
"Are yall done?"He asked
"done wit what?"Dave asked confused
"This act"he replied
"What you mean?"Dave asked yet again confused
Juan looked and Vanessa and they began dying of laughter
"oooooo lord have mercy"Juan exclaimed
Me and dave sat so confused
"Okay we know yall ain't married at all or even dating "Vanessa said as they calmed down
"Yall thought you could pull that off on me? nahh i look into every single person detail for detail that walk up in my house"Juan said
"So what you ain't gon work with us?"Dave asked
it went quiet
"I wanted to partner with 2 people that were committed to each other"Juan began
"Even though you ain't married you were still committed in acting like it to get me to work with you"He said
"So we working together just none of that acting or lying shit"he finished
i felt so good at him saying that i could actually breathe
"that's whats uppp"dave said dapping him up
"but if i was you keep the act till yall leave Columbia
the other real couples that were there ain't gon be happy,I know Nala already know what it's gon be like"Juan said
"How did you know about that?"I asked him
"I see and hear everything nothing can get passed me"He said simply
The rest of the night went well and by the end of the night we basically became very good friends with our new supplier
"Get home safe,thank you for coming"I said to Juan and Vanessa as they drove off
Me and Dave waited for the to turn out the house before going inside
"THANK YOU GOD"Dave yelled
"I can't believe that just happened"I said laughing
"It was definitely your terrible acting"Dave said about to light up a blunt
"Me!? nahhh that was all you"I replied "and outside"I said taking out his blunt from his lips before he could light it
"But i ain't had one all day"He stressed
i stared at him "Your a liar,take it outside Dave"I said walking up the stairs
he let out a big groan "But it's cold as shit out there"
"tough"I replied once i got to my room
