Veteran looked at his own reflection in the mirror. He looked so fresh and handsome. His jacket makes him looked fancy. He chooses the most shiny crown, so it could make him more shiny.
He can't believe today he will have his first date with his boyfriend.
Who else if its not Player.
He brushes his hair,while whistling to a song he liked. He imagined how Player will looked like in their first date.
Player would be so adorable.
The thought made him blush.
Veteran looked at the watch. Its 6:50 pm. Then he get out of his bedroom and prepare himself to take Player on a date.
"Huh, i see you're going on a date with your boyfriend, huh?" Veteran's dad asked, as he drank his coffee.
"Yep,dad. I'm going to his house." Veteran said, as he put his shoes.
"Okay, son. Good luck on your first date! And don't forget to bring him to our house when you're done! " Veteran's dad said, while waving his hand to Veteran.
"Thanks dad! And don't be so dirty minded. He's my boyfriend after all!!"
He laughed at his dad, then ran out of the house.
"I hope you're married soon, dear son!"

Veteran runs as quick as he can to Player's house. The faster he could make it, the faster he can date Player.
Player's house isn't far either. Its just 500 metres from his house.
So he runs faster.
Finally,he arrived at Player's house. He takes a deep breath several times, then he looked at his watch.
6:59 pm.
Well, he's lucky he's not late, if he does then....
Player won't notice him all day.
And that's not good.
After his breath is steady, Veteran take a knock on the door.
"Hello? Any body home? This is Veteran."
Seconds later someone opened the door.
Its Jessica.
"Oh, Veteran! Long time no see! How are you?" She asked as she leaned on the door.
"Yep. I'm clearly fine as day. Now where's your bro? "
Sounds of screams came later.
"Yep. There he is. Wait for a second, okay?" Dum said, while rolling her eyes playfully.
"Okay.... I'll wait then. "

Player finally come out his house minutes later.
Oh My God....
He looked very cheerful. His sweater and jeans make him more charming, his face looked even brighter than before, it seems that he cut his hair, make him looked more stylish.
He looked adorable like this.
Veteran have to hide his blush.
"Haha. Oh my God... Why did you hide your face from me?"
Oops.
"Well... Hello Play-play.... Ready to go on a date?"
"Of course i do, Vet." Player smiled cutely, then looked at his sister.
"Well, we're going out, sis. Goodbye!"
"Have a nice date brother!"

Player and Veteran take a walk around the city.
And they have no idea where they are going.
"Um.... Vet? So... Where are we going now?"
Player asked innocently, Veteran stared at Player, confused.
"Wait... Haven't you go on a date before?"
"No... I never go on a date with her. She never wanted to have a date with me. And even if she wanted to, both of my parents didn't allow me." Player explaining, while looked at the road.
"Oh, i'm so sorry, Play-play. I didn't... mean to...."
"It's okay. Anyway, a past is a past. This is my first date, so it makes it more special."
They fell to an awkward silence, and keep walking around the city, without any destination.
When suddenly, they found a cafe near them.
"Hey, Vet. Let's go there, okay!"
Veteran chuckled softly. "Yeah.. let's go."

Player and Veteran sat on the chair, looking around the cafe. They didn't looked like a couple on a date, but more like some best friends that enjoy their life before getting more task at school.
A waiter approached them both.
"Hello, what is your order?" The waiter asked.
"Um... What Will you order, Vet?"
"You go first, Play-play."
While they ordered, the waiter stared flirtingly at Player, he didn't knew that. But of course Veteran knew.
And he didn't liked it.
"Well... Okay then, this is your order, are you sure~?" The waiter asked again, now her tone is seductive.
"Yes." Veteran answered, sternly. He stared at the waiter, with a deadly stare.
"Okay then. Hey sweetheart, here is my number, okay? See you later sweetie~" She said as she pinched Player's shoulder lightly and walked to take their food.
"You're definitely on the top of my death list, you dirty minded freak." Veteran thought, while stared at her sternly.
If a deadly stare could kill someone, then the waiter could be died painfully right now.
"O-okay... Veteran... What are you staring at? Its scary... Haha...." Player cackled softly, while scratched his head.
"Besides.... I'm your boyfriend, isn't it? So... Let's talk about other things, right?"
And they both talked about nonsense while waiting for the food.
(I'm too lazy so imagine it yourself).

20 minutes later, the food arrived.
At one side, Veteran is glad because after a really, really long time, the food arrived. He is really hungry, so the time is right.
But at the other side....
He have to met that DIRTY MINDED FREAK, again.
She put their food on the table. Then stared at Player.
"Well, thank you so much" Player said, politely.
"No problem sweetheart, so... "
"Get the fuck out of here and let us eat in peace, you moron."
The waiter stared disgustingly at Veteran, then touches Player's cheek.
"My sweetheart, we'll see-"
"DON'T YOU GET IT?! GET. THE. FUCK
OUTTA HERE!!!!!"
Veteran screamed so hard, it makes every single one on the cafe stopped their activities and stared at Veteran.
The waiter looked very shocked, her body pale, then quickly run away from them.

"Vet? Let's... Eat?" Player said, shyly, as he ate the cake.
"Mhm..."
And they both ate the food in silence.
Enjoying the food passionately.
Well, atleast someone enjoyed the food.
Veteran didn't eat the food, he stared at Player who is currently eating a cake.
He chewed the cake passionately, his eyes shut so he can focus on the taste of the cake. He pouted slightly, then smiled widely.
There are some cream on his cheek, Veteran can't wait to wipe them later.
As he enjoyed the food....
"Player, WATCH OUT!!!"
Veteran immediately hugged Player and hide under the table.
But the man behind them got hit by some food.
Poor man.
"Oh... You wanted a food fight? YOU GOT A FOOD FIGHT!!!"
The man threw the food at another man, then he threw the food to a crowd.
Soon, the cafe became very noisy.
They had a food fight.
Veteran immediately hold Player's hand and ran away from the cafe.
They have to leave their food behind.

They took a deep breath, then looked at each other.
"I'm sorry, Play-play. Now we didn't eat the food and have to leave it behind. I'll get ya a new one."
"Its okay, Vet. Besides, i'm full after all. Mind to take a walk before midnight?"
"Yeah, sure."
And they both walk on the park, without any destination.
As they walk....
Someone tripped on a rock, and fell down.
What makes it worse is he fell on top of a puddle.
"Ouch....."
"Veteran? Are you okay??"
Yes, now he's wet and his clothes is dirty.
"Yeah... I'm okay, but my clothes are not." Veteran frowned, wiping his jacket harshly.
"Hey, what about we bought a new one? We can even find a matching jackets!" Player pointed out, then drag Veteran along with him.

Player and Veteran looked for a couple jacket. They wanted a red-yellow themed one, because its their favourite colour.
"Oh, what about this one? Oh Nono, its not good enough. Oh, this one look pretty too!"
Player is busy choosing which one they would bought, of course with his own opinion and commentary.
Honestly, he is very cute.
When did he didn't being cute?
"Yes! I think this one looked good! What did you think?"
Veteran cringed silently.
Its a golden and pink oversized hoodie with cat ears on the hat. The hat even had a cute cat face.
It looked good on Player.
But not on Veteran.
It will make him looked hillarious.
"Hm.... This hoodie is too cute to be used to someone like me. I'm too cool to use it." Veteran pointed out.
"Oh... Okay....." Player put that hoodie back to its place, and searching for another.
Veteran also searched for a hoodie, he need to find one that looked cute but cool at the same time.
And he finally found it.
"Play-play! Come here! I finally found a good one!"
Player come at Veteran moments later. "What is it? Which one? How good is it?"
"Well..... Tada...." Veteran showed him the hoodie that he found.
Its a black, yellow and red hoodie. It has 2 layer of soft fabric. It also had a "my bestest boyfriend" text behind the hoodie.
"Aw.... This hoodie is so sweet! It knows that we are a couple! Let's buy this one instead!"

They walked on a park, holding hands together. Of course after bought that new "couple" hoodie a while ago....

Player put his hands on his pocket, staring at the sky. "She said.... You don't need to reach a star.... Because you will found one of your own.... And... It's come true...."

Player chuckled softly. "Well... The star is holding my hands now."
Veteran blushed, it made the tip of his ears pink, he said some nonsense. Player laughed at his reaction.
"Haha! You're so adorable like that! Haha!!"
Veteran suddenly pinched Player's cheek, it made Player blush.
"Heeeyyyy who is blushing now?" They tickled each other and chased each other. Several people looked at them, but they don't care.
Because they had each other.
"Hahaha!!! Oh my Gosh!! Stop it, Veteran, hahaha!!!"
"Well you can't stop me... Haha!!!"
"HEY, YOU GAY BOYS, THIS IS A PARK, NOT A PLAY PARK!!! GO BACK TO YOUR HOME IF YOU'RE REALLY THAT NASTY!!!"
Someone suddenly scolded them, stared at them sternly.
Veteran was about to punch that man, when suddenly Player hold him.
"No need to, Veteran. Let's go home."

They both took a silent walk on their way home.
No one wanted to start a conversation.
Its awkward.
"Hmph! Why would our first date would be such a mess?!"

"Well, i mean. It should be perfect, it should be romantic but what we got? Just some mess everywhere......"
Veteran kicked a rock near him, but with the power of fanfic it yeeted itself to Veteran's head, caused a wound on his head and bleed.
"Ouch...."
"Hehe.... Here, let me treat it..."
Soon, Player magically took a plaster from his pocket then put it on Veteran's head.
Veteran blushed, again.
"Its not a bad date...."
".....?"
Player suddenly said, in the middle of his activity.
"Why...? Our first date is a mess..."
"But it's what makes it memorable, doesn't it?"
Veteran stared at Player, confused on what he said.
"Uh... What did you mean...?"
"Well.. maybe a messy first date would be a bad impression on anyone. Maybe a messy first date would make someone trauma on having a date....
But it's what makes it special. When you got older, or even married, it would became a memory that you always remember, and it's so funny you even wanted to tell that to your children, or your grandchildren...
Because having a messy date is better without having a date at all."
Player ended his epicc speech with a sigh. Then he looked at Veteran.
"So please cheer up, we still got more ahead of us, right?"
Veteran smiled. "Yeah... You're right....."
And they kissed, lovingly, for some seconds.
Then they break the kiss.

Player's eyes sharpens. "No, i love you better."

Yeah, let's leave them, so they could have their own moment. 😏
