Claude thought about it for a second and decided to tell her sooner he told Felix to tell Athanasia to meet him since he wanted to have tea with her outside. later Athanasia came running to Claude and sat down at the table she greeted him he just stares at her she then started to drink the tea the maid poured she smiled at the tase

All you heard was Athanasia spitting out the tea and coughing she thought she heard wrong and asked what he had said, Claude repeated what he said earlier, and she just looked at him with her mouth open trying to understand because this never happened in the novel. Claude just looked at her then told her to listen and she nodded
He then explained who he was marrying and why he was and how y/n said yes. Athanasia just looked at trying to process this she was scared what if y/n replaced her or she would be mean to her and was mostly scared she never hear of y/n and her kingdom in the novel. Claude noticed what she was mostly thinking he then spoke and told her if you wish for me to not marry y/n I will cancel the marriage he asked her. Athanasia looked at him with wide eyes the said it okay papa as long as your happy athy will be happy and I will have a mommy now said looking happy but Claude could clearly see it was a fake smile but did not ask soon they were almost done with the tea then Athanasia asked when will the wedding be Claude had said this in a week
Athanasia just nodded her head soon they have finished tea time and both went to thinking about the wedding.
