I could hear the loud music from beneath me, rattling the chandelier with every beat. The smell of cheap wine and perfume filled the room. I was wearing a tight black dress with a slit going halfway up, I loved how it showed off my curves. Pearls sat comfortably around my neck, and diamond earrings hung from my ears.A nod was gestured as my cue and I stepped down the grand staircase. I could feel all eyes watching.
20 minutes passed by, but they were nowhere to be seen. I looked around, examining every corner of the room. All I could hear was the music, drowning out my thoughts, but I never lost my concentration.
BANG.
They were just on time. I gave a wink over to Alek, who already had pulled out his gun for security.I crept behind the staircase and pulled a pistol from the stockings I wore under my dress. I scanned the area, aim at the ready. I could see them coming down from the second floor, stepping over lifeless bodies. These were obviously professionals. Their faces were hidden by the mask each one of them wore. I couldn't take it any longer. I spun up and out of my hiding spot and-
BANG.
BANG.
BANG.
Shot three bullets through their skulls. I walked over to their bodies, searching through their pockets for evidence. Eventually, finding a business card with their written addresses.
"Kak glupo" [how foolish] I chuckled. They were looking for me.
" pust' moi lyudi priberut eto" [have my men come clean this up] I said as I walked out of the fire exit.
A black Lamborghini pulled up next to the dumpsters.
"Finally! What took you so long" I exclaimed as I climbed in.
"Had a dilemma" replied Silas.
I knew what he meant. We were being chased. Again.
I looked into the wing mirror. They were on our tail. I rolled my eyes and reached for my gun. Silas was already re-loading, placing it into my hands.
"Nastupit' an eto" [step on it]
He did as he was told. I felt the car lunge forward slightly as he went up to 100mph. I unbuckled my seat belt, gun in my hand, and climb halfway out of the window. My finger was resting on the trigger, i fixed my aim, pulled back and-
BANG.
Smashing the windscreen of their four seater jeep, shards of glass shooting into their direction. I slumped back down into my seat.
"All in a days work" I say sighing, carefully slipping the pistol back into my stockings.
